Study on WDM Optical Communications Devices Based on Holographic Fresnel lenses

Fabrication and characteristic analysis of two-dimensional anti-reflective subwavelength periodic gratings
运用等效介质理论研究了占空比随深度变化的二维亚波长光栅的抗反射原理。对全息干涉法制得的正弦型光栅进行了详细分析,表明这类光栅形成了渐变折射率的抗反膜结构。设计并利用两束相干光对称入射到记录介质(光刻胶)分两次曝光的全息方法制备了适用于可见波段的周期为310nM的二维正交正弦型光栅。测试结果表明这种光栅在整个可见光波段具有增透作用,有潜力作为传统抗反膜的替代品。将具有浮雕结构的记录介质为母版并采用模压或浇铸等方法,可将结构复制到其它材料上。这类抗反射材料具有制作简单、成本低、可大批量生产等优点。On the base of the effective medium theory(EMT),the anti-reflection property of subwavelength cross gratings with filling factors changing with depth is studied.Sinusoidal shaped gratings fabricated with holographic lithography are analyzed in detail,indicating that this kind of grating can form the structure similar to graded index anti-reflective coatings.Two-dimensional sinusoidal cross gratings with 310 nm period were designed and fabricated using double-exposure method,with two coherent beams symmetrically incident to the recording medium(photoresist).The result shows that the grating has enhanced the transmission at visible wave band,thus has the potential to replace the traditional anti-reflective coatings.Taking the recording medium with relief structures as the master and using embossing or casting methods,the structures can be replicated to other materials.Such anti-reflection materials have the merits of simple fabrication,low cost and mass production
基于双通道三维效果宿主图像半色调全息水印
随着现代社会对信息承载量的需求越来越多,提出了一种基于双通道的三维效果宿主图像的半色调全息水印方法。该方法利用双通道技术将两幅三维效果宿主图像的半色调全息水印图像合成一幅图,接着制作成计算全息图,在重现的时候,一幅计算全息图能够显示出两幅水印图像。制作成的计算全息图可以增加信息传输中的安全性与保密性,双通道技术可以增加传输过程中的信息量,三维效果技术可以在不改变编码效率的情况下增强视觉效果。半色调编码全息水印能更好地提升全息水印的鲁棒性。厦门大学校长基金(中央高校基本科研业务费专项资金)资助(20720160016

Optimized Coupling of Single Mode Fiber with Micro Holographic Lens
提出微型全息透镜(MHLs)可作为光网络系统中半导体激光器与光纤、波导等之间的外耦合器,合理设计制作的MHLs能代替一个复杂的光学系统进行耦合,初步的光纤耦合实验得到其耦合效率比直接耦合提高了1倍多。并且提出MHLs还可与垂直腔表面发射激光器(VCSEL)组合成自准直集成系统。文中给出了理论分析、实验方法、实验结果和进一步的改进建议。It is presented in the paper that micro holographic lenses (MHLs) can be used as the outside coupler to couple the light emitted from a laser diode(LD) to a fiber,waveguide and so on.The performance of a single MHL fabricated properly can replace a complicated optical coupling system.Primary coupling experiment obtained doubled coupling efficiency compared with direct coupling.Theoretical analyses indicate that selfcollimation of the light emitted from verticalcavity surfaceemitting lasers(VCSEL) can also be achieved by using a MHL.Theoretical analyses and experiment method are described,and the experiment results are provided
Technique of Making Depth-Multiplexed Hologram from Brain MRI Slices
采用激光全息分层分区二步法 ,将一组磁共振成像片按不同层次组合成一张全息图 ,可在普通白炽灯下观察到清晰的三维层析透射图 ,以辅助医师准确、迅速地判断出患病部位的情况和位置。By using holographic tow step storage method, a group of brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) slices were recorded in a depth multiplexed hologram. Reconstructed under incandescent lamp, a clear three dimensional perspective image of brain can be viewed. 【中文文摘】提出一种利用离轴全息菲涅尔透镜制作全息型波分复用器的新方法.全息菲涅尔透镜具有会聚和色散两种功能,因此在光纤通信的波分复用元件中存在巨大的应用潜力.此种元件的主要优点为节省辅助元器件,并且成本低.阐述了波分复用器的设计原理和制作方法,其工作的中心波长为1550nm,信道间隔为2nm.通过理论分析证实制作的元件满足光纤通信系统的要求.给出了初步的实验方法、实验结果并进一步讨论了应改进的方案.
【英文文摘】Holographic Fresnel lenses have both of functions of focusing and dispersion,and thus, have the potential to be used as wavelength division multiplexer (WDM) in optical fiber communications. Design and fabrication of high efficiency diffuser film based on laser speckle

(CAS)Diffuser film is one of the main components in liquid crystal display backlight unit. It can cause strong scattering for the light out from the light guide plate, and it have the ability to make diffuse reflection and uniform diffusion of the out light occur. How to improve the brightness, the uniformity of backlight unit, and make it more and more slimmer are not only what manufacturers pursuit to, but also an hotspot recently. In this paper, we make use of the statistical analysis law of laser speckle to achieve the fabrication of diffuser film. According to the requirements for the technical parameters of diffuser film, the structure characteristics of laser speckle and manufacturing methods are analyzed and discussed in detail. They consist of producing the original edition of the laser speckle figure (Photoresist board was used as recording medium to produce embossment laser speckle images, and this is one of the most important process in moulding technology), using electricity molding system to manufacture metal formwork (It is also called as electrotyping, which is transfer the embossment speckle image from the photoresist board to a metal plate), and moulding replication (In a certain temperature and pressure, template stripes were transferred to the film). The diffusion light uniformity and brightness can be controlled via adjusting intensity distribution and average diameter of the speckles. Then the preliminary experiment results are given under laboratory conditions (argon ion laser, 位=457.9nm), and meanwhile the effects of several common diffuser films are compared in this paper. 漏 2012 SPIE

Fabrication of off-axis holographic Fresnel lens used as multiplexer/demultiplexer in optical communications
