    本文以韩礼德(HAllIdAy)的系统功能语法为基础,从三大纯理功能中的语篇功能出发,对近年的几篇四级阅读理解文章的主位及主位推进模式进行分析。本文拟运用主位及主位推进模式的相关理论,以篇章为单位,探讨语篇的内在结构。通过对四级真题阅读文章的分析,本文旨在进一步证实主位推进模式对大学英语教师及教学的指导意义。Based on Halliday’s systemic functional grammar,this essay analyzes themes and thematic progression patterns of several CET-4 reading texts from the aspect of textual function.This essay uses theory of theme and thematic progression pattern to discuss the internal organization of CET-4 reading texts in the unit of text.By analyzing CET-4 reading texts,this essay further discusses the meaning of studying theme and thematic progression pattern for college teachers and teaching
