    <Original Paper>Removal of Tin and Iron from Zirconium-based Alloys and Zircaloy Scrap by Electron Beam Melting

    Removal of tin and iron from the melts of Zr-Sn, Zr-Fe alloys and a zircaloy scrap, which is generated in the fabrication processes of zircaloy tubes for nuclear reactors, has been investigated using a laboratory-scale electron beam furnace working in a vacuum of around 1×(10)^ Pa. Zirconium metal purer than 99.5 mass%Zr (Sn=0.18,Fe=0.011,Ni=0.018,Cr<0.002 mass%) could be obtained by electron beam melting of the zircaloy scrap (Sn=1.42,Fe=0.17,Ni=0.06,Cr=0.10 mass%) for 300 min. It is found that the tin and iron contents in the zirconium alloy melts reduce steadily according to a first order rate law down to about 0.5 mass% and 0.2 mass%, respectively, and further melting causes their removal rates to decrease. The decreases in the removal rates, despite of tin and iron more volatile than zirconium, are considered to be attributed to their low activities in the zirconium alloy melts

    The Flame Retardant Property of ABS/Silicone Rubber Blends

    研究了十溴联苯醚/三氧化二锑(DBDPO/Sb2O3)、有机硅橡胶/含氟聚合物、有机硅橡胶/硬脂酸镁、二盐基亚磷酸铅、滑石粉对ABS燃烧性能的影响.研究结果表明:DBDPO/Sb2O3阻燃体系配合含氟聚合物对ABS/硅橡胶共混物的阻燃是有效的.当硅橡胶2PHR、含氟聚合物1PHR、添加剂DBDPO/Sb2O320PHR时,ABS的氧指数达27;二盐基亚磷酸铅对硅橡胶/硬脂酸镁阻燃ABS有较强的助阻燃作用.In this paper, the effects of DBDPO/Sb_2O_3, silicone rubber/fluorine-containing polymer, silicone rubber/magnesium stearate, dibasic lead phosphite and talcum powder on the flame retardance of ABS plastics were studied. The results demonstrated that DBDPO/Sb_2O_3 fire resistant system combined with fluorine-containing polymer was effective in improving the flame retardant property of ABS/silicone rubber blends. By adding silicone rubber 2 PHR, fluorine-containing polymer 1 PHR, additive, DBDPO/Sb_2O_3, 20 PHR, the OI value of ABS could reach 27. Dibasic lead phosphite was good flame retardant aid to ABS fire retarded with silicone rubber/magnesium stearate

    目的 :研究皮质酮作用下吗啡条件性位置偏爱 (CPP)及条件性精神运动的变化趋势及其可能机制 ,为探讨应激、环境线索诱发复吸的机制提供基础。方法 :32只♂SD大鼠分成 4组。训练 2d ,1次药物匹配训练 (吗啡 2mg·kg- 1 ,皮质酮 5mg·kg- 1 ,ip ,提前 2 0min注射 ) ,1次生理盐水训练。观察训练前后大鼠在伴药侧停留的时间 ,急性给药后的运动及条件性精神运动的变化。结果 :(1)吗啡组训练后在伴药侧停留的时间显著长于对照组 (P 0 0 5 ) ; (2 )在 5 0、6 0min时皮质酮吗啡组的急性精神运动显著大于吗啡组和对照组 (P <0 0 1) ; (3)皮质酮吗啡组大鼠的条件性精神运动显著大于对照组、吗啡组 (P <0 0 1,P <0 0 5 )。结论 :5mg·kg- 1 的皮质酮显著抑制吗啡CPP的获得 ,但促进吗啡条件性精神运动的获得以及急性精神运动。CPP与条件性精神运动获得的机制可能存在差

    Degradation failure features of chromium-plated gun barrels with a laser-discrete-quenched substrate

    The effect of substrate laser-discrete quenching on the degradation failure of chromium-plated gun barrels was metallurgically investigated. The results show that substrate laser-discrete quenching changes the failure patterns of chromium coatings during firing, and some periodic through-thickness cracks in the fired chromium coatings are justly located at original substrate zones between two adjacent laser-quenched tracks. Moreover, chromium coatings and the laser-quenched zones on the substrate are simultaneously degraded in microstructure and property during firing. Furthermore, the periodic structure of the laser-discrete-quenched steel (LDQS) substrate near the breech remains after firing, and the hardness of the fired laser-quenched zones is still higher than that of original substrates. The specific failure features were utilized to illustrate the mechanism of the extended service life of chromium-plated gun barrels with the LDQS substrate. (c) 2007 Elsevier B.V All rights reserved
