    Mechanisms of neuroprotection by curcumin in acute epileptic rat

    目的:通过腹腔注射大剂量戊四氮建立急性大鼠癫痫模型,运用姜黄素进行干预,观察姜黄素对癫痫大鼠行为的影响和神经元的保护作用及其机制研究。 方法:实验选用健康雄性SD大鼠48只,完全随机分为:姜黄素组、对照组、模型组、实验组,每组12只大鼠,造模前进行相应的预干预,然后通过腹腔注射戊四氮建立急性癫痫动物模型。观察造模后各组大鼠行为学表现;尼氏染色、HE染色观察各组大脑病理变化;Tunnel染色观察各组大脑皮质神经元的凋亡情况;免疫组织化学方法观察姜黄素对海马组织或皮质部分LC3-Ⅱ、Beclin1表达的影响。 结果:相对于模型组,实验组腹腔注射姜黄素可明显延长发作潜伏期;病理学显示,实验组相对...Objective:To discuss the antiepileptic and neuroprotective effects of curcumin in epilepsy modeled by PTZ intraperitoneal injection.     Photosynthetic capacity of three common species of macroalgae and the application in coral aquarium

    利用水下饱和脉冲调制叶绿素荧光仪(dIVIng-PAM)测定了珊瑚养殖水处理中3种常见大型海藻石莼(ulVA lACTuCA)、条浒苔(EnTErOMOrPHA ClATHrATA)和羽状蕨藻(CAulErPA MEXICAnA)光能转化效率(fV/fM),快速光曲线(rlC)相关参数和非光化学淬灭(nPQ)。结果表明:石莼和条浒苔的fV/fM分别为0.808±0.004和0.816±0.009,显著高于羽状蕨藻。最大相对电子传递速率rETrMAX(17.52±2.92和19.59±4.43μMOl E·M-2·S-1)、半饱和光强Ik(53.41±8.18和59.71±13.52μMOl PHOTOnS·M-2·S-1)也明显高于羽状蕨藻(rETrMAX和Ik分别为13.72±5.41μMOl E·M-2·S-1和32.67±14.06μMOl PHOTOnS·M-2·S-1),表明石莼和条浒苔有着比羽状蕨藻更高的光合能力和对强光的耐受能力,光保护能力更强;羽状蕨藻较高的rlC初始斜率α表明其在弱光下拥有更强的光捕获能力,弱光下光合效率更高;随光照的增强(0~373μMOl PHOTOnS·M-2·S-1),羽状蕨藻nPQ的增幅有限(0~0.2),最大值仅为条浒苔和石莼的38.1%和62.5%,表明这种藻类更容易受到强光的抑制。因此,在珊瑚养殖的水处理中,可以根据不同的光照选择适宜的藻种或藻种组合并根据光梯度进行布局,反之也可以根据藻种来选择合适的光源,以达到最佳的处理效率。This study investigated the difference of photosynthetic capacity in three macroalgae species( Ulva lactuca,Enteromorpha clathrata,and Caulerpa mexicana) commonly used for nutrient removal in coral aquariums.The photochemical efficiency( Fv/Fm),parameters relevant to rapid light curve( RLC) and non-photochemical quenching( NPQ) in the macroalgae were measured by underwater saturation pulse modulated chlorophyll fluorometer( Diving-PAM).The results showed that Fv/Fmwas 0.808 ± 0.004 for U.lactuca and 0.816 ± 0.009 for E.clathrata,which were higher than that for C.mexicana.Higher maximum relative electron transfer rates( rETRmax)( 17.52 ±2.92 and 19.59 ±4.43 μmol e·m- 2·s- 1) and half-starved value of light intensities( Ik)( 53.41 ±8.18 and 59.71 ±13.52 μmol photons·m- 2·s- 1) were observed in U.lactuca and E.clathrata than that in C.mexicana( 13.72 ± 5.41 μmol e·m- 2·s- 1for rETRmaxand 32.67 ± 14.06 μmol photons·m- 2·s- 1for Ik),indicating that U.lactuca and E.clathrata have stronger photosynthetic capacities,photo-protection capacities and tolerance to higher intense light than C.mexicana.A significantly lower RLC initial slope α in C.mexicana implied that this algal species has a higher photosynthetic capacity under weak light condition.With increasing the light intensity( 0- 373 μmol photons·m- 2·s- 1),however,C.mexicana had a limited increase of NPQ( 0- 0.2),the maximum of which was equivalent to 38.1% of that in U.lactuca and 62.5% of that in E.clathrata.These results indicate that the photosynthesis of E.clathrata may be more easily limited by intense light.Our study suggests that the selection of algal species for nutrient removal in a coral aquarium should be adapted to the light intensity.Single species or the combination of different species of macroalgae can be selected according to the illumination of the coral aquarium in order to maximize the efficiency of nutrient removal.国家海洋局第三海洋研究所基本科研业务项目(海三科2011033); 厦门海洋研究开发院共建项目; 海洋公益性行业科研项目(201105012)资

    目的 为了解腔阔盘吸虫在贝类宿主体内发育的组织学情况。方法 用腔阔盘吸虫 (Eurytremacoelomaticum)虫卵人工感染同型阔纹锅牛BradybaenasimilarisFerussac后在不同时间里固定蜗牛 ,经石蜡包埋 ,连续切片、苏木精伊红复染 ,观察腔阔盘吸虫在蜗牛体内的发育变化。结果与结论 感染后 5~ 12天为早期母胞蚴阶段 ,感染 15天母胞蚴体内开始出现子胞蚴的胚球 ,2 9天的母胞蚴增大明显 ,胚球数目增多 ;40天的母胞蚴布满肠壁周围 ,胚球两端拉长 ;47天的母胞蚴体内的子胞蚴胚球增大明显 ,已出现内外囊壁的分化 ,内囊壁包围着胚细胞组成的中心区域 ;感染 91天的子胞蚴体内出现尾蚴胚体 ;118天的子胞蚴体内的尾蚴已经成熟 ,子胞蚴移向呼吸腔Aim This paper reported the histological development of Eurytrema coelomaticum in the snails Bradybaena similaris Ferussac.Method Snails were infected experimentally by feeding Eurytrema coelomaticum eggs,5~6 snails were fixed in Bouin's fluid at intervals of 3~6 days postinfection,the entire animal was dehydrated in thanol-toluol series,embedded in paraffin,serially sectioned at 10μm,and stained with Enlirch's hematoxylin-eosin.Results and Conclusion the germinal cells in the mother sporocyst stretched and scattered in 5~12days postinfection snails,and the number of germninal cells increased.In the 15 days postinfection snails,germinal cells created a large space around themselves and germinal balls were presented in mother sporocyst,each become a daughter sporocyst.At 29 days postinfection mother sporocyst enlarged obviously,the mumber of germinal balls increased.At 40 days postinfection,mother sporocyst scattered all over the intestine wall.The germinal balls lengthened at the both sides.By 47 days postinfection,the germinal balls in mother sporocyst enlarged significantly,daughter sporocyst balls present internal and external cyst walls,the internal cyst wall surrounded the central area that the germ cells aggregate.After 3 months postinfection,daughter sporocyst present the cercarial embroys.At 118 days postinfection,the cercariae in daughter sporocyst were mature and daughter sporocyst moved to pulmonary cavity

    报道了用扫描电镜观察卵形半肠吸虫成虫、童虫、虫卵的体表超微结构,成虫、童虫体表布满单生棘和皱折,虫卵表面光滑具卵盖.The author reports the surface structure of Mesocoelium ovatum juvenile and mature adult as well as egg by scanning electron microscope observaton for the first time .The appearance of juveniles looks very like the mature adults.They both are covered with folds and spines,though their sizes and some inner structures are different under the light microscope.The juveniles have the sex organs but no egg in the uterus.It is shown that the maturation of surface structure may not be related with the development time.The body surface of juveniles and adults are provided with transverse folds and vertical folds,which only are present at the anterior end and posterior end.The shape and arrangement of the tegumental spines of worms at different maturation are basically uniform,belonging to the single spaced-pattern with pointed grow backword projecting.Several dome-shape papillae are observed around the rim of the oral sucker and acetabulum.They are tentatively identified as sensory organs.The surface of eggshell of M.ovatum including the operculum is generally smooth,and the operculum is thick and prominent
