今日のユビキタス化された社会では,様々なことを気軽にバーチャル体験できる反面,自分自身の力で考え結果をイメージングしようとする機会が失われてしまっている。生きる力の問題としても,脳科学や発達教育科学の分野からこれに対して警鐘が鳴らされている。よって小・中学校音楽科の授業という視点から,次の2点を視野に入れてこのユビキタス社会における音楽の基礎・基本の力について改めて考察してみたい。1.過度に視聴覚機器に頼ることをやめ,イメージングを通じて活きた活動体験を模索する　2.活動の主体を子どもヘシフトし,教師が言語・非言語指示を駆使して一方的にリードした為に子どもが思考停止の状態や指示待ちの状態のようになってしまうことを,イメージングを活用した活動体験によって防ぐ 今回の一巡の授業研究では,この二つのポイントを視野に入れながら,実体験と体感を伴った子ども自身によるイメージングの活動を基盤に据えた授業のあり方について模索してみたい。そして本論文においては,次の二つの授業実践を取り上げて分析を行った。1.小学校4年生を対象にした授業:楽曲の構造からショートストーリーをイメージングし,それを伝える為の演奏表現とリコーダー演奏技法を工夫する　 2.中学校3年生を対象にした授業:歌詞のイメージングに基づいて,自分達が歌いたいと感じる表現を考え,それを演奏表現できるような歌い方を工夫す
