An Econometric Analysis of Imported Softwood Log Market In South Korea

이 연구는 우리 나라에 수입되는 원목의 시장구조를 밝히기 위하여 미국, 뉴질랜드, 칠레로부터 들어오는 온대침엽수원목에 대한 수입수요를 수출국별 원목의 가격과 국내 목재가공업(제재업)의 제품생산량의 함수로 설정하여 수입원목수요함수를 추정하였다. 이 연구는 당해 연도에 수입되는 각 국가별 수입원목량은 당해 연도의 자체원목가격, 대체 원목가격, 그리고 당해 연도의 제품생산량에 의하여 결정된다고 가정하여 모델을 개발하였다. 1981년부터 1997년까지 17년간의 수입원목량과 가격에 관한 통계자료를 이용하여 SURE(Seemingly Unrelated Regressoin Equations)추정방법으로 미국산, 뉴질랜드산 및 칠레산 소나무원목의 수입수요함수를 추정하였다. 미송원목수입가격에 대한 우리 나라의 미송원목, 뉴송원목 그리고 칠레송원목의 수입수요 탄력성은 각각 -2.88, 1.36, 3.17로 추정되어, 미송원목가격이 미송뿐만 아니라 칠레송원목의 수입량에도 크게 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 뉴송원목 수입가격에 대한 미송원목, 뉴송원목 그리고 칠레송원목의 수입수요 탄력성은 각각 0.71, -1.65, 1.44로 나타나 뉴송가격은 미송원목수입에 크게 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 칠레송원목수입가격에 대한 미송원목, 뉴송원목, 그리고 칠레송원목의 수입수요 탄력성은 각각 1.02, 0.88, -3.41로 나타나 칠레송 원목수입량은 자체가격에 민감하나 뉴송원목수입량이 칠레송 가격에 그리 크게 영향을 받지 않는 것으로 나타났다.The objectives of this study were to explain market structures of logs imported to Korea from U.S.A., New Zealand, Chile. The demand for imported logs is modeled as a function of output of wood manufacturing in Korea and log prices of competing suppliers. It is hypothesized that the quantity of log imported in a period is determined by its own and competing prices and the output of wood corresponding manufacturing sector in the current period. Import demand functions of logs imparted to Korea from U . S . A. , New Zealand and Chile were estimated by SURE(Seeming1y Unrelated Regression Equations). Elasticities of amounts of logs imported to Korea from U.S.A., New Zealand and Chile with respect to price of imported log from U.S.A. were -2.88, 1.36 and 3.17, respectively. Elasticities of amounts of logs imported to Korea from U.S.A. , New Zealand and Chile with respect to price of imported log from New Zealand were 0.71, -1.65 and 1.44, respectively. Elasticities of amounts of logs imported to Korea from U.S. A., New Zealand and Chile with respect to price of imported log from Chile was -2.88, 1.36 and 3.17

Measurement Based Visualization Method of Radio Wave Environment Using a Mode Seeking Algorithm

본 논문에서는 제한된 위치에서 측정된 수신 신호 세기(RSSI) 값과 3차원 지리 정보를 기반으로 주변의 전파 환경을 추정하고, 시각화할 수 있는 알고리즘을 제안한다. RSSI가 동일한 수신점은 송신점으로부터 같은 거리에 위치한다는 가정 하에서 삼각형의 외심을 이용하여 송신점의 위치를 추정하고, 전파 모델을 이용해 전파 손실을 고려하여 전파환경을 시각화한다. 영상 신호 처리에서 사용되는 모드 탐색 알고리즘인 mean-shift clustering 방법을 사용하여 피크 값을 탐색하고, 여러 개의 추정점들의 무게 중심을 사용하여 오차를 감소시킬 수 있는 방법을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제시한 모드 탐색 알고리즘을 이용한 전파 환경 시각화 기법은 전파 자원의 효율적인 이용을 위한 전파 감시 시스템에 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.22Nkc
