A Study on Process Management Method of Offshore Plant Piping Material using Process Mining Technique
This study describes a method for analyzing log data generated in a process using process mining techniques. A system for collecting and analyzing a large amount of log data generated in the process of manufacturing an offshore plant piping material was constructed. The analyzed data was visualized through various methods. Through the analysis of the process model, it was evaluated whether the process performance was correctly input. Through the pattern analysis of the log data, it is possible to check beforehand whether the problem process occurred. In addition, we analyzed the process performance data of partner companies and identified the load of their processes. These data can be used as reference data for pipe production allocation.
Real-time decision-making is required to cope with the various variances that arise in offshore plant production. To do this, we have built a system that can analyze the log data of real - time system and make decisions.N
Development of the Reinforcement Learning-based Adaptive Scheduling Algorithm for Panel Block Shop
Rule-based heuristic algorithms and meta-heuristic algorithms have been studied to solve the scheduling problems of production systems. In recent research, reinforcement learning-based adaptive scheduling algorithms have been studied to solve complex problems with highdimensional and vast state space. A production system in shipyards is a high-variable system where various production factors such as space, workforce, and resources are related. Adaptive scheduling according to the changes in the production system and surrounding environment must be performed in shipyards. In this paper, the main focus was on building a basic reinforcement learning model for scheduling problems of shipyards. A simplified model of the panel block shop in shipyards was assumed and the optimal policy for determining the input sequence of blocks was learned to reduce the flow time. The open source-based DES simulation kernel Simpy was incorporated into the environment of the reinforcement learning model.N
A Shipyard Simulation System using the Process-centric Simulation Modeling Methodology: Case Study of the Simulation Model for the Shipyard Master Plan Validation
Shipbuilding process takes a long time for producing final products, and needs many different resources. Because of these characteristics, it has been studied about shipyard simulation and virtual manufacturing that is able to implement the virtual manufacturing process. However, among the previous researches, it requires considerable time and effort to construct simulation model since the systematic methodology has not been used for simulation modeling. Also, reusability of constructed simulation model was low. Therefore, this research defines the method to construct shipyard simulation system using the process-centric simulation modeling methodology and shipyard simulation framework. This paper also validates the utility of this methodology through applying to construct simulation model for the shipyard master plan validation.N
