White-light emitting surface-functionalized ZnSe quantum dots: europium complex-capped hybrid nanocrystal
A color-tunable emitter comprising Eu complex-capped ZnSe quantum dot (QD) organic?inorganic
hybrid nanocrystals (NCs) was simply synthesized by a hot-injection method, plus the addition of an
Eu precursor. Hybrid NCs have the emission of both Eu complexes and ZnSe QDs, and they show
bluish white light. In the case of composite NCs (Eu/Zn 1.0), the emission increases up to 174%
compared with that of pristine ZnSe QDs. It is due to the sensitization of the Eu complex acting as an
antenna, so the energy obtained by the Eu complexes transfers to the ZnSe QDs. In addition, the NCs
have a strong excitation band in the near-UV region, which gives them an advantage over wavelength
converters for white light-emitting diodes (LEDs). The expected structure of the hybrid NCs was
verified by TEM, XRD, and XPS. It features a zinc blende crystal structure identical to the ZnSe QD,
along with Eu-based complexes that can be coordinated with the Se ion on the surface of ZnSe QDs.
Therefore, new organic?inorganic hybrid luminescent material using the emission of both QDs and
lanthanide (Ln) complexes can potentially serve as a light source in white LEDs
Development of new evaluation index for improved technology evaluation of SMEs

○ 동일 기술에 대한 여러 전문가들의 평가 결과를 분석한 결과, 일부 지표의 선택지 단순화 및 구체화 혹은 평가 요령 설명의 구체화를 통해 기관의 기존 평가 지표를 객관화할 필요가 있다고 판단됨.
○ 세부 항목 이름을 보편적인 표현으로 수정, 평가 기준의 객관화, 평가 대상의 재설정, 평가 요령 설명의 구체화, 지표별 가중치 재설정 등을 통해 각 세부 평가 지표를 수정하여 새로운 평가 지표를 도출함.
○ 새로운 평가 지표를 이용한 경우, 동일 기술에 대해 여러 전문가들의 평가 결과 편차가 감소하여 객관성은 향상된 것을 확인함.
○ 새로운 평가 지표의 평가 범위가 기존 평가 지표의 평가 범위 및 취지를 제대로 반영하였는지 여부는 추가적으로 검토될 필요가 있음.
○ 객관적 평가 지표를 이용하여 기존에 평가되었던 기술들을 재평가하고 실제 사업화 성공여부를 파악하는 성과 분석이 이루어져야할 시점으로 판단됨.□ Literature survey
○ I have analyzed results of precedent studies concerning technology evaluation indexes and designed the research process for modification of the existing evaluation index.
○ From the comparative analysis with various evaluation indexes, one could know that detailed indexes pertaining to 'technology standardization' and 'sociality of a technology' might be needed.
□ Review on the existing evaluation index
○ One technology proposed by a small company was evaluated by several experts and evaluation results were analyzed. Although the same evaluation index (the existing evaluation index) was used, the evaluation results provided by the experts were quite different each other. According to the experts' opinions, we needed to objectify the existing evaluation index and to explain an evaluation manner in detail.
○ I have checked both overlaps among the detailed evaluation indexes and omissions in the existing evaluation index. I have also proposed a new calculating method of a total score based upon multiplication.
○ I have modified the existing evaluation index in detail and developed the new evaluation index through several steps. The steps include a modification of the index name in an universal manner, an objectification of an evaluation criteria, a modification of an evaluation target, a concrete explanation of an evaluation manner, a modification of an evaluation weight. In addition, we have proposed a new evaluation score table concerning the new evaluation index.
□ Investigation of the objectivity for the new evaluation index
○ The technology proposed by the small company was evaluated again by the experts and evaluation results were analyzed. By using the new evaluation index, the objectivity of evaluation results was considerably improved. We have observed that the standard deviation of the evaluation result was significantly decreased.
○ Based upon the results, the index was modified again
Organic wavelength-converting-film-based hybrid planar white light-emitting diodes
In this study, organic wavelength-converting films (WCFs) applied to InGaN blue LEDbased
hybrid planarWLED has been fabricated. The organic dye layer in theWCF was formed between
the upper and bottom polymer sheets by using a simple roll-laminating technique. Subsequently, the
hybrid planar WLEDs have been fabricated based upon these films. The luminous efficiency of green
WCF-based hybrid planar WLEDs with a single blue LED chip was 34.6 lm/W and that of red-WCFassisted
green WCF-based hybrid planar WLEDs was 27.3 lm/W under 20 mA. The use of WCF to
fabricate hybrid planar WLEDs showed better stability than that of directly coating organic color-convergence
materials (CCMs) on the LED chips. It only decreased to about 10%of the initial wavelengthconverting
intensity after 1 hour of continual operation at 20 mA

Synthesis of Phosphor Photonic Crystals by Self-Assembly of SiO2/Y2O3:Tb3+ Core/Shell Particles and Its Photoluminescence Properties
The monodisperse spherical SiO2/Y2O3:Tb3+ core/shell particles were prepared by a heterogeneous precipitation coating of the phosphor shell on the surface of the core particles. 구형 형광체의 자기 조립에 의한 형광체 광자결정의 합성 및 발광특성 제어

Because the improved efficiency of display devices results in reduction of energy consumption, it is very important and means a lot. The efficiency of display devices is strongly depended on the properties of luminescence materials used, because luminescence materials play an important role of emitting visible lights in each device. As luminescence materials with the higher luminescence efficiency were used, the more efficient display devices can be expected. Therefore, many researchers have studied to improve the efficiency of luminescence materials and to search for new luminescence materials with high efficiency. In this study, 3 dimensional (3D) colloidal photonic crystals (PCs) were used and studied to improve the efficiency. At first, the effects of the 3D colloidal PCs and their stopbands on the light extraction efficiency of luminescent films were investigated. In addition, the phosphor PCs were fabricated by self-assembly of the monodisperse phosphor spheres, and their advantages and utilization ways were investigated. Finally, the effects of the crystallite/particle sizes on the luminescence properties of inorganic phosphors were investigated by using the monodisperse phosphor spheres.
In chapter 3, in order to verify the distinct advantages of the colloidal 3D PCs on the extraction efficiency, an organic-inorganic hybrid transparent luminescence material, the , was experimented. The luminescence properties of the plane film prepared by spin-coating of the phosphor on a slide glass were compared with those of the infiltrated film prepared by infiltration of the phosphor into the 3D colloidal PC. The photoluminescence (PL) intensity of the infiltrated film was about 13 times higher than that of the plane film. Effect of Technology and Market Dynamism on the Business Performances of SMEs by Supporting Services
Research objective of our study is to find the effect of technology and market dynamism on the business performances by small- and medium-sized enterprises (SME) supporting services. Technology and market dynamism have been introduced as moderating variables, utilisation degree of information provided by SME supporting services was selected as an independent variable and contribution degree to SME business performances such as revenue, export, employment and so on were selected as dependent variables. Structural equation modeling was established to analyse moderating and mediating effects on SME business performances by SME supporting services using Smart PLS programme. The SME supporting services had a direct effect on SME business performances and also indirectly influenced SME business performances via contribution degree to decision-making of SME executives. Technology and market dynamism significantly moderated the effect of decision-making of SME executives on SME business performances. It could be seen that technology and market dynamism had a mediated-moderating effect on SME business performances
Cultural Heritage Technology Strategy Plan Responding to Climate Change
funder : 문화재청agency : 한국과학기술정보연구원agency : Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information본 연구는 전 지구적 차원의 기후변화 진행에 의한 문화유산의 위험도가 증가 되고 있는 현실을 반영하여 종합적인 기후변화 대응 문화유산기술 R&D중장기 계획(2013-2023)을 수립하였다.
본 보고서에서는 기후변화 대응 문화유산기술(CHT)을 기후변화에 의한 문화유산의 열화 현상을 진단⋅치유⋅예방하며, 원상상태로의 복구를 돕는 융합기술이라고 정의하였다. 전략적 비전으로는 “기후변화대응 신기술개발을 통한 문화유산 보존효과 증대”로 설정하였으며, 이에 따른 다음과 같은 추진전략을 제시하였다.
1. 기후변화 대응 문화유산 R&D시스템 구축

3. 문화유산 R&D연계강화지원체제 구축
특히 재질별 치유방법별 문화유산 기술 로드맵을 제시함으로서, 실질적인 기후변화 대응한 기술개발체제구축이 가능하도록 제안하였다.Climate change over the next 100 years will likely have a range of direct and indirect effects on the natural and material environment, including the historic built environment. Important changes will include alterations in temperature, precipitation, extreme climatic events, soil conditions, ground water and sea level. Some processes of building decay will be accelerated or worsened by climate change, while others will be delayed. This report present cultural heritage technology R&D plan(2013-2022) responding to climate change to develop mitigation and adaptation strategies for historic buildings, sites, monuments and materials that are likely to be worst affected by climate change effects and associated disasters. In this report, cultural heritage technology (CHT) was defined as fusion technology to diagnose, treat and prevent degradation of cultural heritage due to the climate change. Strategic vision was set as "Increasing the cultural heritage preservation effect through development of new technologies responding to climate change ".
