A Study of Korean-Chinese and Chinese Young Children's Daily Life-Environment in Yanbian, China
본 연구는 중국 연변 조선족자치주 연길 시에 거주하는 조선족과 한족 유아의 일상생활환경을 알아보기 위한 것이다. 연길 시에 소재한 5개 유치원의 양육자를 대상으로 설문지를 배부하여 조선족 202부, 한족105부, 총 307부를 분석하였다. 분석결과, 조선족과 한족 유아들의 일상생활환경 중 유아의 일과활동 및 양육자의 양육어려움을 제외한 대부분의 문항에서 차이를 보였다. 이러한 결과는 같은 지역에 거주하나 민족에 따라 유아의 일상생활환경이 다름을 보여주는 것으로 특히 조선족 유아의 일상생활환경의 특징을 통해 중국으로의 오랜 이주역사에도 문화적 전통을 유지해온 조선족의 민족적 특수성을 엿볼 수 있었다. 본 연구결과로부터 한국사회에 증가하고 있는 다문화적 배경을 가진 유아들의 일상생활환경에 대한 이해를 바탕으로 교육적 서비스가 이루어져야 함을 시사받을 수 있었다.
The purpose of this study is to present Korean-Chinese and Chinese young children's daily life-environment in Yanji city, Yanbian Korean-Chinese autonomous prefecture, China. Subjects were 307 caregivers of young children(202 Korean-Chinese, 105 Chinese) from 5 kindergartens in Yanji, Yanbian Korea-Chinese autonomy prefecture, China. The results showed that Korean-Chinese and Chinese young children's daily life-environment is different except child's daily routine and caregiver's care difficulty. This presented difference of children's daily life-environment according to ethnic group where live in same region. In particular, Korean-Chinese's longtime immigrant history and culture tradition against Chinese's things reflected on young's life-environment. Therefore, this study showed that understanding to daily life-environment of multicultural background young children living in Korea is essential to educational service program for them
