Content and scope of the study (1) Construction of Domestic Scholarly Journal Artcles o DB construction, connection, and use for the academic society journal articles - Construction of full- text journal articles(8,000 records) - Adding new academic societies(20 academic societies) - Distribution of KISTI- ACOMS(20 academic societies) o Construction of Korean English Science and Technology(KEST) DB - Construction of English abstracts DB for the domestic journal articles(10,000 records) - Distribution of CD- ROMs of KEST DB(600 associated institutions) (2) Construction of Science- Technology Information Portal System o Construction of Portal System for National R&D Report o Construction of Portal System for National R&D Human Resource o Construction of Portal System for R&D Equipment o Construction of Portal System for Science- Technology Web Information (3) Construction of factual database o The construction of self- made material property database - The construction of property information infra- structure that can support the basic study of researching the advanced materials and substances. - Gathering the data source of inorganic crystal structure information, thermophysical, thermochemical property information of substance and database design of these informations o The construction of joint- made material property database - The production, processing of data and building of database in collaboration with specific information centers - The building of MSDS(material safety data sheet) database, plasma property database, structure diagnosis technology database and nuclear reactor image database o The construction of Standard Reference Database - The building of ceramic and superconducting material property database - The building of thermophysical , thermochemical property database and inorganic crystal structure database. - The building of astronomical phenomena database
