Possible One-Dimensional 3He Quantum Fluid Formed in Nanopores

Heat capacity measurements have been made down to 5 mK for 3He fluid films adsorbed in one-dimensional (1D) nanometer-scale pores, 28 Å in diameter, preplated with 4He of 1.47 atomic layers. At low 3He density, the heat capacity shows a density-dependent, Schottky-like peak near 150 mK asymptoting to the value corresponding to a 2D Boltzmann gas at high temperatures. The peak behavior is attributed to the crossover from a 2D gas to a 1D state at low temperatures. The degenerate state of the 1D 3He fluid is indicated by a predominantly linear temperature dependence below about 30 mK.journal articl

This process can be divided into two steps; self-adjustment step and abandonment step of water use. This report especially discusses the structure of the self-adjustment step by the results of investigation. Brief contents of this report are as follows ; 1. Subsidy by local administration to a given section of village helps to keep up water management system. However, there is possibility of disintegration in the case of complete dependence on the local public entity. 2. Persons who are self-employed and doing farming on the side mainly support water management in urbanized region. In return for taking charge of water management, they gather of customer in the village. 3. A Proposal of Vibration Function User Authentication Method for Mobile Terminals

In recent years, mobile terminals such as the smartphone has been widely used. Most of the mobile terminals has been stored many personal information, so it is necessary to lock and unlock the screen in order to prevent from information be stolen by such as Personal Identification Number (PIN). However, in many existing authentic methods, an opportunity to enter ID and a password at a place with much public notice increases. An attack looks into a target authentication activity from a behind and thieves secret information of the target. The existing authentic method is not enough resistance to peep. In these days, moreover, a method of the attack has changed to recording an authentication activity as a movie by video camera. It also changed supposed threats of the attack. Proposal of Icon-based User Authentication Method Using Flick Input for Mobile Terminals

Some authentication methods that lock and unlock the screen are widely used in order to prevent from information be stolen. However, there is no method suitable for mobile terminals that have both shoulder-surfing resistant and high usability. "Secret Tap" method uses icon and tap input and has high shoulder-surfing resistant. However, in order to have sufficiently low probability for breaking the authentication by accident, it needs many times of tap input in an authentication. Evacuation Guidance Systems using Wireless Sensor Networks in a Building

In recent years, the huge building in the city has increased. When encountering a disaster such as an earthquake or fire in a building, we need to evacuate quickly. In this paper, we propose an evacuation guidance system using sensor networks and Augmented Reality (AR) technology. In the proposed system, when a disaster occurred, the sensor network constructs a route from each node to the sink-node, excluding nodes detecting the abnormal situation such as fire or collapse.
