<Original Article> Typennachweis des Faktors H in Blutspuren
By means of isoelectric focusing and immunoblotting the possibility of the determination of HF polymorphism was investigated on dried bloodstains under various storage conditions. The three common phenotypes, HF A, HF AB and HF B, were reliably demonstrable at 37℃ for up to 4 weeks, at room temperature for up to 7 weeks and at 4℃ for over 10 weeks. The results showed that this complement system can provide a quite useful, new means for the identification of unknown stored bloodstains.journal articl
3RD HARMONIC OPERATION OF SIT INVERTER RF SOURCE FOR ICRF HEATING IN THE DIVERTOR PLASMA SIMULATOR NAGDIS-II
The purpose of this paper is to study the 3rd harmonic operation of a voltage source inverter power supply. A Static Induction Transistor (SIT) inverter power supply is used in this experiment. This power supply can generate 14 kW in steady state operation and its upper limit frequency of the gate driver is 1.7 MHz. The advantage of the 3rd harmonic operation is that the RF power at higher frequency range beyond the switching limit can be generated. It should be also noted that the driver circuit needs no special modification for this operation. The conversion efficiency and maximum output power are investigated as a function of output frequency. The conversion efficiency with harmonic operation is a little lower than the conversion efficiency with fundamental operation. At the frequency of <3 MHz, the conversion efficiency is higher than that of conventional linear amplifiers when using this SIT inverter power supply.journal articl
Hype Live: Biometric-based Sensory Feedback for Improving the Sense of Unity in VR Live Performance
We propose Hype Live, a system to improve the sense of unity by sharing responses through visual, auditory, and haptic stimuli based on the biometrics of the participants in VR live performances. In this field, the sharing of reactions among the participants is one of the most important factors in improving the sense of unity. However, not many past studies have provided feedback to the participants' senses. Therefore, as a prototype of Hype Live, we used a vibration device to provide haptic feedback and recreated moshing scenes where the participants violently collide with each other like a real live performance.conference pape

Statistical analysis as a tool for assisting geochemical interpretation of the Upper Triassic Yanchang Formation Ordos Basin Central China
The Yanchang Formation in the Ordos Basin is the most important petroleum play not only for conventional oil and gas accumulations but also for newly emerging shale oil and tight gas resources. The molecular characterization of the basinwide source rocks predicts three groups of generative petroleum types: Paraffinic High Wax Oil mixed base (Paraffinic-Naphthenic-Aromatic) Low Wax Oil and Gas and Condensate. Supplementary to previous work 68 samples including the crude oils source bitumens and reservoir extracts from the Yanchang petroleum play are analyzed. The distribution of two terpane classes (eight tricyclic terpanes and eight pentacyclic terpanes) are determined with subsequent simultaneous RQ-mode factor analysis for a composite data set of these samples alongside 216 published crude oils worldwide with known facies descriptions. Thermal maturity has been evaluated as a consistent distribution at first using a combined method of a maturity-related biomarker [Ts / (Ts + Tm)] and aromatic parameters (Methyldibenzothiophene Ratios) to alleviate the maturity differences effect when discussing geochemical characterization. The R-mode factor analysis consists of the first two factors that are describing 45 present of the cumulative total variance in the data set and presents a sample grouping pattern in Q-mode factor analysis which is determined by different contributions of terpane associations i.e. the tricyclic C-21 coupled with pentacyclic C-25 C-27 C-28 and Cm in the same factor space. Three terpane associations the C-28 and C-28 terpanes the C-21 and C-30 terpanes and the C-27 pentacyclic terpenes are respectively responsible for discriminating crude oil reservoir extracts and source bitumens in RQ-mode factor analysis. Molecular compositions further address more detailed interrelationships among three sample groups that crude oils and reservoir extracts are sharing close genetic relationships both in depositional environment typing and C-27-C-28-C-29 sterane distribution. Samples from source rocks vary much significantly. A mixing process which occurs after oils has been expelled from host source rocks into carrier units during accumulation. In addition the migration -contamination of C29 sterols when oils are cross through the Chang 7-2 unit along migration pathways might also explain this lack of correlation between source rocks and oil -reservoir system. Extracellular matrix expression pattern.
<p>Fibronectin was displayed in microtissues after ten days. (Bar in A549/SV80 monocultures: 50 μm, bar in all other microtissues: 100 μm); Secretion of fibronectin could be observed in microtissues containing fibroblasts, whereas in all tumour cell monocultures no fibronectin secretion could be detected.</p
Primary antibodies used for immunohistochemistry.

SV80 microtissue protein expression pattern.
<p>IHC slices of SV80 in monocultures after ten days (Bar in A: 100 μm); SV80 microtissue staining is only shown representatively after ten days because no difference in the staining pattern between five and ten days was detected. Microtissues were completely positive for vimentin and Ki67, whereas no E-Cadherin and α-SMA expression was observed.</p
Fluorescence microscope images of Colo699 either in mono- or co-culture.
<p>(A) Colo699 monocultures after ten days; (B) Colo699 co-cultures after ten days; DAPI (blue) was used for staining cell nuclei, Phalloidin Atto 633 (red) for displaying F-actin and CFSE (green) as a cytoplasmic stain for fibroblasts (Bar in A/B: 50 μm). Fibroblasts could still be detected in microtissues after five days of co-cultivation with Colo699.</p
