Two Autopsy Cases of Dissecting Aneurysm of the Aorta

<Case Report> Three Indonesian Cases of Intraperitoneal Development of Metastatic Hepatocellular Carcinoma, Possibly Disseminated by Spontaneous Tumor Rupture
Abstract: We report 3 Indonesian patients with intraperitonial tumor development possibly caused by spontaneous rupture of hdpatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Each case presented with expansively growing nodular metastatic tumors and all nodules were surgically removed in each case. The first case upderwent lateral segmentectomy in Shanghai, while the second and third cases underwent liver resection for primary HCC in YMU hospital. Although the first case had seven intraperitoneal tumors, ranging from approximately 1 to 6 cm in maximal diameter, together with skin metastasis, the other two cases had a large solitary tumor, covered by the greater omentum; the tumors measured 6.5 cm and 13 cm in maximal diameter, respectively. In the third case, there were no intrahepatic metastases detected. Since this kind of recurrence pattern is very rare among Japanese HCC patients, we report these 3 cases and discuss the present findings on the distribution of HCC recurrence patterns in Japan.journal articl

その結果、①労働生産性を外的基準とする作業条件因子相互間の相関係数(絶対値)を類似度の指標として、作業
条件因子をそれぞれ特性をもついくつかのクラスターに類似化しうることが一事例として示された。②クラスター分
析の結果は、従来から経験的に合理的と考えられてきた作業条件因子の現地調査手順をかなりよく表し、これに対し
て一つの理論的根拠を与えるものと解釈できる。③作業条件のタイプと、そこに採用されるペき伐出作業方式との相
互関係を具体的に検討しうることが示唆された。
なお,このような検討は各種の方法により実証的に行い、最も妥当な作業研究手法を体系化することが必要と思われる。departmental bulletin pape

Performance Evaluation of Media Synchronization in PHS with the H. 223 Annex Multiplexing Protocol
This paper studies the application of a media synchronization mechanism to the interleaved transmission of video and audio specified by the H.223 Annex in PHS. The media synchronization problem due to network delay jitters in the interleaved transmission has not been discussed in either the Annex or any related standards. The slide control scheme, which has been proposed by the authors, is applied to live media. We also propose a QOS control scheme to control both quality of the media synchronization and that of the transmission delay. Through simulation we confirm the effectiveness of the slide control scheme and the QOS control scheme in the interleaved transmission.application/pdfjournal articl
Fundamental and Third Harmonic Operation of SIT Inverter and its Application to RF Thermal Plasma Generation
The purpose of this paper is to study the 3rd harmonic operation of a voltage source inverter power supply. A static induction transistor (SIT) inverter power supply is used in this experiment. This power supply can generate 14 kW in steady state operation and its upper limit frequency of the gate driver is 1.7 MHz. The advantage of the 3rd harmonic operation is that the RF power at higher frequency range beyond the switching limit can be generated. It should be also noted that the driver circuit needs no special modification for this operation. The conversion efficiency and maximum output power are investigated as a function of output frequency. The conversion efficiency with harmonic operation is a little lower than the conversion efficiency with fundamental operation. At the frequency of <3 MHz, the conversion efficiency is higher than that of conventional linear amplifiers when using this SIT inverter power supply.journal articl
