    Trend Analysis of the Number of Visitors Occupying a Special Exhibition Room to Verify Effects of Numbers of Visitors on Exhibition Room Environments

    本稿では,文化財の保存状態に影響を及ぼさない展示環境を維持しつつ,展 示室の換気状態を良好に保つ諸条件についての検証を試みた。まず,特別展覧 会全般における入場者数にどのような傾向が見られるのかを中心に解析した。 その結果,各日の入場者増加割合は,同日内で大きく変化しない,おおむね線 形的な傾向を把握できた。次に,コロナ禍の下で開催した特別展覧会開催時に おけるデータを解析した。これらの展覧会では,展示室内の滞留者数を直接カ ウントした。その数値を基に,平均滞留時間を推定すると,1.5 時間から 2 時 間であった。おそらく各展覧会において,この滞留時間に大差は生じないもの と考えられる。上記のように把握できた特性を前提として,最後に空調機器能 力と最大許容滞留者数についての検証を行った。その結果,滞留者数 800 人程 度までは良好な換気状況と環境保全の両立を,余裕を持って維持できると考え られた。As described herein, the author attempted to examine compatibility between good ventilation conditions in exhibition rooms and environmental preservation for cultural properties. First, general trends of the numbers of visitors to special exhibitions were analyzed. Findings indicate that the percentage increases in visitor numbers did not change significantly within the same day. Trends were roughly linear. Next, data from the special exhibitions held during the COVID-19 pandemic were analyzed. Visitors at these exhibi- tions who occupied the exhibition rooms were counted directly. Based on these data, the average visitation time was estimated as 1.5–2 hr. According to the characteristics described above, the air conditioning equipment capacity and the maximum number of visitors allowed to occupy the room were verified. Results suggest the possibility of maintaining good ventilation conditions and environmental protection with an adequate margin of safety up to about 800 visitors.departmental bulletin pape

    No Association Between Helicobacter Pylori Seropositivity and Ornithine Decarboxylase (ODC) A317G Polymorphism, and No Modification by NAD(P)H : Qinone Oxidoreductase 1 (NQO1) C609T

    2007-01Our previous epidemiologic study reported that NAD(P)H:quinone oxidoreductase 1 (NQO1) 609C/C with full enzyme activity was a high risk genotype for Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) seropositivity. Since NQO1 stabilizes ornithine decarboxylase (ODC), which attenuates the innate immune response through elevated polyamines, ODC functional polymorphisms may also influence H. pylori seropositivity. This study aimed to examine the association with ODC A317G polymorphism, as well as the modification by NQO1 C609T. The two polymorphisms were determined by polymerase chain reaction with confronting two-pair primers (PCR-CTPP) among 465 health checkup examinees in Nagoya. The ODC A317G genotype frequency was 35.9% for A/A, 49.3% for A/G, and 14.8% for G/G. The sex-age-adjusted odds ratio (OR) of the ODC gene for H. pylori seropositivity was not significant (OR=1.09 for G/A and OR=1.02 for G/G, relative to A/A). Among subjects with any NQO1 genotype, no association was observed between the ODC ploymorphism and H. pylori seropositivity. Results of the present study did not support the hypothesis that the different genetic traits in the ODC-polyamine pathway are associated with susceptibility to persistent H. pylori infection. The higher frequency of the ODC 317A allele in the Japanese population than that in the Caucasian population is firstly reported.     Pseudogap Formation in the Intermetallic Compounds (Fe1-x Vx)3Al

    Optical conductivity data of the intermetallic compounds (Fe1 - xVx)3Al (0 ? x ? 0.33) reveal that their density of states around the Fermi energy (EF) is strongly reduced as x is increased. In particular, Fe2VAl (x = 0.33) has a deep, well-developed pseudogap of 0.1-0.2 eV at EF and a small density (?5 × 1020 cm-3) of carriers, which is highly unusual for intermetallic compounds. It is shown that the pseudogap results from the band structure of Fe2VAl, rather than from temperature-dependent correlation effects. Based on the present results, we propose a simple model that consistently explains both the semiconductorlike transport and the metallic photoemission results previously observed for Fe2VAl.application/pdfjournal articl

    雑種成犬の肝動脈あるいは門脈のいずれか一方の血流を減少させると,肝血行動態に変動が引き起こされる。この変動に対するカテコールアミン受容体遮断剤の影響を求め,肝循環調節に関するカテコールアミン受容体の役割について検討を行なった。門脈を1分間閉塞すると,体血圧(MBP),中心静脈圧(CVP),肝静脈圧(HVP),肝動脈圧(HAP),門脈圧(PVP)は低下した。この際の肝動脈血流量(HAF)は91.6±14.7ml/min (mean±SE,n=7)から112.2±17.8ml/minヘ有意に増加した。これらの反応はβ受容体遮断剤(propranolol 0.1mg/kg,iv)では変化を受けなかった。α2受容体遮断 (yohimbine O.1mg/kg,iv)及びα1受容体遮断(prazosin 0.1mg,iv)を行なうと,HAPの減少率は増強されたが,他のパラメータ-の変化率には有意な変化は認められなかった。これらの結果より,門脈を閉塞することにより引き起こされる肝動脈の血管拡張は,カテコールアミン受容体を介さない反応であることが推察される。一方,肝動脈を閉塞した場合には,MBPは上昇しPVPと門脈血流(PVF)は減少した。門脈血管抵抗(PVR)は変化しなかった。これらの反応はβ受容体遮断を行なっても変化しなかった。α1もしくはα2受容体遮断を行なうと,PVFは増加する方向に反転し,PVRは明らかに低下した。これらの成績より,肝動脈からの流入血液量が減少した場合,門脈血管床はα1及ぴα2受容体を介して血管抵抗を一定に保つよう門脈血流を調節していると推察された。journal articl

    Effect of saliva on measurement of chemiluminescence was examined by a micro-reactor incorporating a micro-channel. Sodium hypochlorite and hydrogen peroxide solutions were delivered into a micro-channel developed in a micro-reactor by a syringe pump, providing a laminar flow liquid-liquid interface in the channel and leading to chemiluminescence from singlet oxygen. It was found under certain conditions including saliva that ca. 5% chemiluminescence of the total chemiluminescence was lost in the micro-channel through the reaction of saliva with singlet oxygen or hydrogen peroxide.application/pdfdepartmental bulletin pape
