Some Suggestions for Surmounting the Difficulties of English Pronunciation to the Japanese Students
Non-native speaker of English, who have studied English for at least six years through their Middle and High schools, are strongly expected to have had good commands of English aurally and orally. It can be said, however, that they have still serious problems in having not only adequate knowledges of English pronunciation but also sufficient skills of speaking Colloquial English. The present writer has tentatively tried to improve his students' pronunciation of English, or pointed out some difficulties of English sounds from the Comparative Phonetic point of view between English and Japanese sounds in the present paper.departmental bulletin pape
Performance Evaluation of CDMA ALOHA Systems with Modified Channel Load Sensing Protocol
The one of the problems that arises in the satellite packet communication system is the existence of a long access timing delay. In this paper, we clarify the effect of this access timing delay on the performance of CDMA ALOHA systems and then propose a new access control protocol, called Modified Channel Load Sensing Protocol (MCLSP), for the CDMA ALOHA systems. As a result, we found that by employing MCLSP, a significant improvement in the throughput performance was obtained even in the presence of a long access timing delay.journal articl
MOESM2 of A method for detecting single mRNA molecules in Arabidopsis thaliana
Additional File 2. Spot measurements. (a) Images of PP2A RNA spots visualized using Quasar570速 and Quasar670速 filter channels. (b) Line scans of fluorescent intensity corresponding to the lines shown in (a). Each line scan corresponds to the different fluorophores. The red linescan corresponds to analysis performed for a PP2A mRNA spot labeled with Quasar570速 and the green linescan to PP2A unsliced RNA labeled with Quasar670速 probes
MOESM5 of A method for detecting single mRNA molecules in Arabidopsis thaliana
Additional File 5. PP2A mRNA imaged using Structured Illumination Microscopy. Nuclei are labeled with the nuclear stain DAPI (blue), PP2A mRNA (red) and nascent PP2A RNA (green). Scale bar = 10 μm
