Pharmacokinetic Drug Interaction Between Rosuvastatin and Tanjin in Healthy Volunteers and Rats
[Background] Tanjin is an herbal medicine made from the root of salvia miltiorrhiza. It is predominantly given to arteriosclerotic patients as a supplement to ameliorate the clinical symptoms of cardiovascular diseases. In China, tanjin is used frequently in combination treatment for hypercholesterolemia. Thus, there is a high probability of combination of tanjin and statins in these arteriosclerotic patients. This study investigated the interaction between tanjin and rosuvastatin. [Methods] We performed a randomized single-blind, two-period crossover clinical trial on six healthy male volunteers. Volunteers were administered rosuvastatin with placebo or a tanjin-containing drug randomly. The blood samples were collected before drug administration, and at 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2, 4, 8, and 12 hours after administration. Lymphocytes were isolated from blood samples before and 12 hours after drug administration to measure mRNA. As an animal experiment, an in situ intestinal injection with portal vein sampling model was used to examine the interaction between tanjin and rosuvastatin during the absorption phase. Rosuvastatin or rosuvastatin combined with tanjin solution was injected into the intestine. After injection, blood from the portal vein was collected and the concentration of rosuvastatin was measured by LC/MS/MS analysis. A portion of the intestine and liver from the rats was collected and stored at -80°C for mRNA measurement. [Results] In the clinical trial, co-administration of tanjin decreased the maximum plasma concentration (Cmax) of rosuvastatin by 26.85% compared with rosuvastatin alone, and also decreased the area under the plasma concentration-time curve of rosuvastatin from 0 to 12 h (AUC0?12) by 19.43%. The relative expression of BCRP and OATP mRNA in human lymphocytes was increased by co-administration of tanjin. In the animal experiment, co-administration of tanjin extract reduced the concentration of rosuvastatin to 84.4, 64.4, and 50.0% at 15, 30, and 45 minutes, respectively. The tanjin-containing drug had a similar effect to tanjin extract. Furthermore, tanjin significantly reduced the absorption of rosuvastatin and the inhibitory effects lasted for at least 24 hours. Tanjin increased the relative expression of BCRP mRNA in the intestine, but it did not change the expression of OATP. Moreover, the concentration of rosuvastatin in the portal vein and systemic blood was reduced. In the liver, tanjin increased both BCRP and OATP mRNA expression, which was consistent with the results from human lymphocytes. [Conclusion] The clinical trial and animal experiment revealed that tanjin can significantly reduce the absorption of rosuvastatin. This interaction occurred, at least, at the absorption phase in the small intestine due to the enhanced efflux transport. A Revitalization Program for Akashima in the Goto Islands, Nagasaki Prefecture -A Comparison of the Facebook Total Access Account of this year with that of Last Year-
Akashima is a small island in Goto city, Nagasaki Prefecture. Inhabitants of this island depend on stored rainwater for survival. Revitalization of the island is difficult as the only source of water on the island is the rainwater stored by each household. In the summer of 2017, we began revitalizing the island by developing new facilities for rainwater harvesting. This also included disclosing information related to our activities in real time on our Facebook page. An analysis of the Facebook page shows that it is possible to publicize our efforts more efficiently now than in 2017, and that the page is being accessed by residents of Goto city and local governments with increasing frequency.departmental bulletin pape
Embedded device cooperative system using Java bytecode instrumentation
近年,様々な組込み機器に通信機能が搭載されてきている.Jiniのような組み込み機器連携のためのネットワークミドルウェアを利用することで,機器は別の機器が提供する機能を相互に利用し合える.しかし,現状のネットワークミドルウェアでは,ユーザが利用する可能性のある機能のインタフェースを,クライアント機器の実行プログラム開発時に,予め全て組み込む必要がある.このため,既存のクライアント機器は将来新たに登場する機能を利用できない.本研究では,Javaバイトコード変換による動的プログラム生成機能を利用することで,先の問題点を解決する組込み機器連携システムについて提案する.また,提案システムを実装し,時間とメモリ使用量の点から評価を行った.Recently, various embedded devices have become equipped with network functions for communication among themselves. In a network middleware with embedded devices (e.g. Jini) to cooperate with each other on networks, a device can use functions provided by other devices. However, because the function is defined by its interface, all programming interfaces of certain functions must be built into a client device beforehand so that the client device can use the functions. Therefore, already existing client devices cannot exploit newly released functions. In this paper, we propose an embedded device cooperative system to solve the problems by adapting dynamic program generation using Java bytecode instrumentation technology. Homogenous web communication platform in non-homogenous network environment for emerging countries
近年,先進国と発展途上国において利用可能なネットワークの帯域幅に格差が生じてきている.利用可能なネットワークの帯域幅とコンピュータ環境が異なる複数地域の人々が,ある一つのWebサーバにおいて提供されるSNS(ソーシャルネットワーキングサービス)などのWebコンテンツを利用し,互いにコミュニケーションを行う状況を考える.本研究では,このような環境を“非均質なネットワーク"と表現する.非均質なネットワークにおいては,地域間においてWebコンテンツを構成するファイルの取得速度に差異が生じる.結果として,各地域の人々に対して均質にWebコンテンツを提供することができず,地域間における人々のコミュニケーションを妨げてしまう可能性がある.本研究では,非均質なネットワークにおいて均質にWebコンテンツを提供するために,利用可能帯域幅が広い地域のファイル取得速度を低下させることなく,利用可能帯域幅が狭い地域のファイル取得速度を向上させるシステムを提案する.In recent years, there has been a more distinct gap in network bandwidths between developed countries and developing countries. In a "non-homogeneous network environment", which is a mixture of narrowband and broadband networks, the amount of time to obtain a Web file differs from one place to another. As a result, people in developing countries have difficulties downloading certain Web files, which prevents them from communicating fully with people in other faraway places. In this paper, we propose a platform for Web communication (e.g. social networking) in a non-homogeneous network environment in order to reduce the time to obtain Web files and reduce the usage of Internet connection bandwidths for users in developing countries. Implementering av lean
Temaet for denne studien omhandler implementering av lean. Forskning og teori peker i retning av at lean må implementeres som en filosofi, der leantankegangen må være etablert for å anvende den praktiske delen av konseptet, leanteknikker/-verktøy. Det som gjør dette interessant er at mye forskningen trekker frem at det menneskelige aspektet av filosofien ofte nedprioriteres. Vi har derfor valgt å se nærmere på hvordan lean er implementert i to studieobjekter med hovedfokus på om de har lyktes med å implementere lean som en helhetlig tilnærming i tråd med teorien. Oppgavens overordnede problemstilling er:
Har forskningsobjektene implementert lean som en filosofi, eller har de kun tatt i bruk deler av konseptet?
For å besvare denne problemstillingen har vi lagt en kvalitativ metode og en deskriptivt design til grunn. Vi har intervjuet to ulike grupper av respondenter i hvert av studieobjektene. Den ene gruppen er personer som har vært med i implementeringsprosessen av lean, og den andre gruppen er ansatte i linjen som er berørt av leaninitiativet. Utvalget bestod totalt av 13 respondenter. Datainnsamlingen har blitt gjennomført ved hjelp av semistrukturerte dybdeintervjuer med de ulike respondentene.
Funnene som har kommet frem gjennom denne studien indikerer at begge studieobjektene i ulik grad har implementert lean i tråd med teorien. Det kom fram at begge har forbedret og optimalisert sine prosesser, men kun et av studieobjektene har fått med seg sine ansatte "på gulvet" og etablert kontinuerlig forbedringsarbeid. Av dette fremkommer det dermed at kun ett av våre to studieobjekter har implementert lean som en filosofi
