Job Hunting of International Students with Intermediate Level of Japanese at Engineering Graduate School: An Interview Survey to Explore the Possibility of Japanese Language Education for Supporting their Job Search Activities

本稿は日本語が中級レベルにある工学系大学院留学生を研究対象とし、彼らに対する就職支援を目的とした日本語教育の可能性を探るために実施した調査について報告するものである。調査では日本の就職活動経験者３名に対しACTFL-OPIによる口頭運用能力テストと半構造化インタビューを実施した。ACTFL-OPIからは３名が高い伝達技能を有することが示唆された。インタビューでは、就職活動と日本語学習に関して尋ねた結果、内定獲得に繋がったと推測される要素として「就職活動における自分の立ち位置を把握し、行動する」「周囲の協力を得る」等を挙げることができた。以上の調査結果を基に、本研究の対象者向けの日本語教育において、「日本語を使用しようとする姿勢を養う」「専門関連の話題について日本語で表現する」等が重要であることを指摘し、初級レベルから就職関連の話題を取り入れるといった日本語教育の方法を提案した。journal articl

教養教育院言語系における特色ある取り組み

教養教育院言語系では、戸畑、飯塚、若松の３キャンパスに渡る全学共通カリキュラムを平成29年に策定し、英語と初修外国語の教育を行い、留学生に対しては日本語の教育を行っている。開始から６年を経た今、教養教育院言語系で展開されている多様な試みとその成果の一部を報告する。第１節では、渡邉がTOEICとランゲッジラウンジ他について、第２節では長瀬がＥラーニンング型多読コースについて、第３節では福永が若松キャンパスにおける英語教育について、第４節では教育推進事業として実施した工学系大学訪問調査について福永と八丁が報告を行う。第５節では、李が初修外国語の教育について、最後に第６節では山路が留学生を対象とした日本語教育の取り組みについて報告をする。departmental bulletin pape

寒冷地における太陽光発電システムの諸特性 （第3報）*

application/pdfRecently, the application area for photovoltaic systems has expanded from special purpose usage to the more general field in our everyday lives. In Hokkaido, we are also　able to see some applied examples of photovoltaic systems in such fields as traffic lights or lighting facilities, and for geographical reasons, an independent power generation systems for a thinly populated region is now under consideration. A refrigerator is considered to be the main system load when a photovoltaic system is used as a household power source. In this paper, we study some characteristics of our natural energy laboratory’s 480 Wp photovoltaic system which includes a refrigerator as the system’s load and discuss the appropriate power capacity for a photovoltaic system for household usage in a cold district. Furthermore, we study the effective utilization of sun-light reflected from snow covered surfaces which is considered one of the characteristics of a snowy and cold district. 小説における女性形終助詞「わ」の使用

従来、小説中の女性登場人物は女性形終助詞「わ」を一貫して用いるのが一般的であったが、最近では必ずしも「わ」が使用されず、年齢や場面による使い分けがある作品も出現している。こうした作品では、若い女性より年配の女性のほうが「わ」の使用頻度が高く、若い女性が「わ」を使用している場合、強気な態度や相手を見下した態度を示す場面で「わ」が出現しやすい。また読者の側も「わ」の使用にそのような態度をイメージすることが調査によって示された。小説における「わ」の使用は、女性的な個性の表現としてではなく、特定の場面で特定の効果を意図するものとしての機能を持ちうることが示唆される。journal articl
