    Validation of Sediment Transport Model Using Hydraulic Experiment Data to Assess the Influence of Grain Size and Reflection Wave on Tsunami Deposit

    To improve tsunami prediction, it is important to consider paleo tsunami records. Tsunami deposits can provide many paleo tsunami records; however, the formation mechanism of tsunami deposits remains unclear. Furthermore, numerical analysis focusing on tsunami sediment in the inundation area has fewer verification examples. Therefore, in this study, we conducted hydraulic experiments to elucidate the formation mechanism of tsunami deposits. The hydraulic experiments considered the influence of grain size and reflection wave. In addition, we investigated the characteristics of sand deposits depending on sand composition and topography (i.e., natural embankment). It was confirmed that the amount of sand deposit decreased toward the top of the run-up area. However, for the case of mixed sand which has several grain sizes, it was found that the mixing ratio influenced the composition ratio of the sand deposit in the middle of the slope area. For the case of the reflection wall, it was observed that characteristic sand deposits were formed by the return flow. We evaluated existing sand transport models using the obtained data. The results of the numerical experiments confirmed the high reproducibility of the existing models for the case with the return flow (i.e., with a reflection wall). However, for the case without return flow (without a reflection wall), it was clear that reproducibility was affected by grain size. Furthermore, it was confirmed that the amount of sand deposit was overestimated near the top of the run-up area.     STM Observation of Au Particles Adsorbed on Si(111)-Clean Surface by PLD Method

    To obtain important information for fabricating atomic-scale Au thin films that are used for biosensors, we have examined the flushing temperature for forming the Si(111) clean surface and observed the morphology of Au particles adsorbed by Pulsed Laser Deposition method on a Si(111)-7×7 surface by STM, which is supposed to be the initial stage of Au atomistic thin film formation. As the result of this study, it was found that flushing temperature must be controlled within 5℃ and we can fix the flushing requirement by STM images. Besides, we have estimated that Au particles are adsorbed on the position which is about 0.21 ± 0.03 nm away from the center of Si adatom.departmental bulletin pape

    α-1,3-フコース転移酵素cDNAの導入と強制発現により、L細胞のインテグリン依存性の接着が促進された。ヒト骨髄球系細胞に於て、ガングリオシドの合成を制御する酵素としてGM3を合成するシアル酸転移酵素とLc3Cerを合成するN-アセチルグルコサミン転移酵素を同定した。ヒト結腸癌組織においてシアリルLe^aの抗原を持つ糖鎖の構造を明かにした。ルウィス血液型陰性の個体に於て、FuT-III遺伝子の変異をヌクレオチドレベルで解明した。胃体部と胃前庭部に於て、消化管ムチンの硫酸化糖鎖の構造パターンが異なっていた。Gsl-5糖鎖を形成するβ-1、6-N-アセチルグルコサミン転移酵素を精製し、アミノ酸部分配列を明かにした。肝細胞膜の表層糖鎖末端β-ガラクトシドが肝細胞接着に関与し、この機構にC-型レクチンは関与しないと示唆された。成人型異染性脳白質変性症の原因となるアリルスルファタ-ゼAの新しい構造異常を見出した。ウシ精巣性ヒアルロニダーゼの糖転移反応を利用して、新しいハイブリッド型プロチオグリカンを作成した。ニワトリCa^依存性α-マンノシダ-ゼの特異性を解明した。マクロファ-ジレクチンのチロシン残基(Tyr5)がインタ-ナリゼイションに必須なことを明かにした。また、C-型レクチンの1つであるコンアグルチニンのcDNAおよびゲノムシークエンスを明かにした。Sophora japonica樹皮中のレクチンが損傷の修復に関与する可能性を指摘した。アルコール依存症患者血清に糖鎖欠損トランスフェリンを見出した。コンドロイチン硫酸のペプチドとの結合部位を合成した。ヒトマクロファージのレクチンcDNAを単離し、構造決定した。科学研究費補助金 研究種目:総合研究(A) 課題番号:03304050 研究代表者:村松 喬 研究期間:1991-1993年度research repor

    application/pdfCompetition Trampoline in Japan has a history of over quarter a century. There has been remarkable progress in the improvement of equipment and competition’s skills. In the mean while, behind the remarkable improvement of techniques, there were some trouble which could destroy Trampolining. However, the efforts of people engaged in the Trampoline overcame these difficulties, and led us to the developments of today. Since the attraction of competitive trampolining comesfrom the sense that it must be higher, more beautiful, and more defficulot, in some critical sense, one must be aware of some degree of danger and the possibility of unexpected accidents. Thus the competition Trampoline can be recognized as a sport which could cause severe injury. Therefore, even if it is an accidential injury, the instructors have a duty to avoid this kind of accident. From this point of view, staged instruction program and multi-safety measures based on instruction rules devised by many researchers and instructors are required.
