Do we understand the single-spin asymmetry for pi0pi^0 inclusive production in pp collisions?

The cross section data for π0\pi^0 inclusive production in pppp collisions is considered in a rather broad kinematic region in energy s\sqrt{s}, Feynman variable xFx_F and transverse momentum pTp_T. The analysis of these data is done in the perturbative QCD framework at the next-to-leading order. We find that they cannot be correctly described in the entire kinematic domain and this leads us to conclude that the single-spin asymmetry, ANA_N for this process, observed several years ago at FNAL by the experiment E704 and the recent result obtained at BNL-RHIC by STAR, are two different phenomena. This suggests that STAR data probes a genuine leading-twist QCD single-spin asymmetry for the first time and finds a large effect.Comment: text modified, version to be published in Eur. Phys. J. New result on the measurement of the direct photon emission in K+ --> pi^+ pi^0 gamma decay

We present a new result on the K^+ --> pi^+ pi^0 gamma decay measurement using stopped kaons. The best fit to the decay spectrum comprised of 10k events gives a branching ratio for the direct photon emission of [3.8+-0.8(stat)+-0.7(syst)] times 10^{-6} in the pi^+ kinetic energy region of 55 to 90 MeV. This result has been obtained with the assumption that there is no component due to interference with the inner bremsstrahlung.Comment: 14 pages, 7 figures, 3 tables (Fig.1 which had problems with uploading first time is replaced. Modeling the Pion and Kaon Form Factors in the Timelike Region

New, accurate measurements of the pion and kaon electromagnetic form factors are expected in the near future from experiments at electron-positron colliders, using the radiative return method. We construct a model for the timelike pion electromagnetic form factor, that is valid also at momentum transfers far above the ρ\rho resonance. The ansatz is based on vector dominance and includes a pattern of radial excitations expected from dual resonance models. The form factor is fitted to the existing data in the timelike region, continued to the spacelike region and compared with the measurements there and with the QCD predictions. Furthermore, the model is extended to the kaon electromagnetic form factor. Using isospin and SU(3)-flavour symmetry relations we extract the isospin-one contribution and predict the kaon weak form factor accessible in semileptonic τ\tau decays.Comment: 31 pages, 7 figures, latex, one reference changed, version to appear in Eur.Phys.J

"Dua Garis Biru" is a romantic drama film directed by Ginatri S. Noer, which was released in Indonesian cinemas in 2019. It tells the story of a high school couple who engage in premarital sex and face an unintended pregnancy, highlighting the importance of parental involvement and the surrounding environment in the development of their child. The film portrays a common phenomenon in Indonesia, namely early marriage and teenage pregnancy. "Dua Garis Biru" received 11 awards in 2019 and 2020, including the Piala Maya for Best Feature Film or Selected Cinema Film. This research aims to analyze the moral messages regarding early marriage present in "Dua Garis Biru." The study will observe the explicit and implicit moral messages conveyed by the film, focusing on the concepts of moral messages by Nurgiyantoro and utilizing Gillian Rose's visual analysis from three research areas: the site of self, the site of audience, and the site of production. The research methodology employed is qualitative. The findings of the study indicate that "Dua Garis Biru" contains moral messages regarding the relationship between humans and God, the relationship between humans and themselves, and the relationship between humans and others

Objective The purpose of this study is to describe, from narrative accounts of their experiences, what kinds of "turning points" there were and what went through the minds of women who maintained their sense of trust in the midwife, even while suffering through a serious situation caused by a midwifery accident, and what implications that has for nursing. Methods This is a life story study of two women who recognized that they were able to maintain a relationship of trust with the midwife even after a midwifery accident. Data collection was conducted through having the women freely narrate their thoughts and feelings from the time of wanting to give birth at a midwife center, through to the present in chronological order, including the details of the midwifery accident. Following that, semi-structured interviews were conducted to investigate the mindset of the women at each step of the journey they described. Results When a cris is that threatened the life of her child developed, Ms.A was haunted by fear and anxiety regarding the aftereffects of the crisis, and deducing from the surrounding behavior that there had been a midwifery accident she searched for ways to confront the midwife. However, as she was feeling regret and responsibility for choosing the midwifery owned maternity home, Ms.A could not lay all the blame upon the midwife alone. In the process of reconstructing the relationship with the midwife by continuing communication throughout the incident, and with the dispute findings having established a victim-perpetrator relationship, and the desire for the midwifery owned maternity home toresume business, Ms.A wanted a sense of closure in the form of compensation. Ms.A, having reconfirmed the importance of life and health through the midwifery accident, was searching for a new way of life. Ms.B sensed from the attitude of the midwife that there was little possibility of her fetus being alive, and even while suffering shock, she deliberated on the fact that the midwife was also a healthcare worker like herself. She entrusted the delivery of the dead baby to the midwife who showed an unfailingly supportive attitude. With grief care, Ms.B was able to say a sufficient goodbye to the baby, and as a result of many conversations with the midwife, she came to have a deep-seated conviction that there was no-one to blame. Overcoming the loss, Ms.B acquired a family and a new view on life. Conclusion The women who maintained their sense of trust in the midwife even through a midwifery accident, did so based upon the relationship cultivated up until the time of the incident, as despite a temporarily shaken sense of trust in the midwife, the women felt they had been dealt with in good faith. It is essential for nurses to make efforts in the event of an incident occurring to recognize the process and `turning points' that lead to coflict and the col1apse of the relationship of trust, and to provide long-term continuing care.原著journal articl

THE DIFFERENTIAL EXPRESSION PATTERNS OF MESSENGER RNAs ENCODING NOGO-A AND NOGO-RECEPTOR IN THE RAT CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM

    Get PDF
Nogo-A and Nogo-receptor have been considered to play pivotal roles in controlling axonal regeneration and neuronal plasticity. We investigated the total distribution of Nogo-A and Nogo-receptor mRNAs in the adult rat central nervous system using in situ hybridization histochemistry. Nogo-A is abundantly expressed in both neurons and oligodendrocytes throughout the central nervous system. Interestingly, we could not find any neurons which lack Nogo-A mRNA expression, indicating that Nogo-A mRNA is universally expressed in all neurons. In contrast, Nogo-R mRNA expression was very restricted. Nogo-R mRNA was expressed in the olfactory bulb, hippocampus, tentia tecta, some amygdala nuclei, cerebral cortex, some thalamic nuclei, medial habenular, whereas we could not detect it in the other regions. Interestingly, we did not detect Nogo-R mRNA in monoaminergic neurons, which are known to have high regenerative capacity, in the substantia nigra, ventral tegmental area, locus caeruleus, and raphe nuclei. In addition, although neurons in the reticular thalamus and cerebellar nuclei are also known to show high capacity for regeneration, Nogo-R mRNA was not detected there. These data indicate that Nogo-A and Nogo-R mRNAs were differentially expressed in the central nervous system, and suggest that the lack of Nogo-R expression in a given neuron might be necessary to keep its high regenerative capacity

The aims of this study are o identify the loan services in MEB and to analysis the influencing factors on customer choice for loans of MEB. Structured questionnaire with 5- point Likert scale is used in order to collect primary data. Simple random sampling method is used in this study. 120 loan customers out of 186 from MEB are chosen as the sample population. The survey data show that most of the SME owners are middle aged people and they are using MEB loans for 2 or 3 years. There are four independent variables namely interest rate, collaterals, accessibility and repayment. Dependent variable in this study is SME loan choice decision. The regression result showed that repayment and accessibility have the strong positive relationship on loan choice. In additions, the result proved that accessibility has the strongest influence on loan choice. Thus, Myanma Economic Bank should focus on loan accessibility in order to get more customers
