Вказано на недоліки нормативної регламентації процесуального порядку застосування застави й особистої поруки в Україні. Запропоновано їх удосконалення шляхом внесення змін у Кримінальний процесуальний кодекс України.The Criminal Procedural Code of Ukraine provides a number of novels on the regulation of preventive measures to take into account the gravity of the committed criminal offence, the personality of a suspect, accused and other circumstances in case of their usage and to choose the appropriate measure, to ensure the attendance to pre-trial investigative agency and court, proper behavior of an individual. The author of the article analyzes the legal regulation of using preventive measures under the criminal procedural legislation of Ukraine and the Islamic Republic of Iran. The author has specified the disadvantages of normative regulation of the procedure to use the bail and personal guarantee in Ukraine. Considering the comparative analysis of criminal procedural legislation of the Islamic Republic of Iran and norms of the Criminal Procedural Code of Ukraine it is noted that foreign experience in the part of using preventive measures should be used in Ukraine. Based on the conducted study, the author has suggested the following areas for improving the procedure of using preventive measures: 1) Part 6 of the Art. 182 of the Criminal Procedural Code of Ukraine should be amended with the provision whereby, if a preventive measure in the form of a bail is applied to a suspect, accused and he agrees with it, but the funds have not been granted during the statutory period, in this case a preventive measure in the form of detention is applied; 2) the Art. 180, 182 of the Criminal Procedural Code of Ukraine to amend with the provisions, where to approve specific temporary terms, during which the guarantor and the mortgagor will be able to meet their obligations.Проанализировано правовое регулирование применения мер пресечения по уголовному процессуальному законодательству Украины и Исламской Республики Иран. Указано на недостатки нормативной регламентации процессуального порядка применения залога и личного поручительства в Украине. Предложено их совершенствование путём внесения изменений в Уголовный процессуальный кодекс Украины

Social distance toward schizophrenia among parents of adolescents

Social distance toward schizophrenia is a reason for delays in receiving early treatment for the disorder. This study attempted to identify the factors underlying social distance. The participants were 2690 parents of adolescents. Factor analysis using a social distance scale identified two factors: private relationship and social relationship. Regression analysis revealed that gender, age, and participation in welfare activities for people with mental illnesses had independent effects on the factor private relationship (p < 0.05). These results suggest that women aged 40 - 49 years should be targeted for activities that attempt to counteract social distance and that they would benefit from taking part in public welfare activities for individuals with mental illnesses.journal articl
