Social Entrepreneurs and Innovation for the Unemployment

This research explored the social entrepreneurship factors to reduce the rate of unemployment in North Sumatra Indonesia. Social entrepreneurship is built through four main elements, namely social value, civil society, innovation, and economic activity. Through the element of innovation, a new form of social entrepreneurship was discovered. Theoretical reviews of social entrepreneurship practices that have been applied in various elements of civil society show innovation elements. An effort to overcome unemployment in Medan Municipality many forms of Social Entrepreneurships were analyzed. Social entrepreneurship that is most appropriately adopted in the city of Medan to reduce unemployment is to empower young women. It concluded that the synergic forms of Social Entrepreneurship with universities, banking institutions and the government, elements of social entrepreneurship including social value, civil society, innovation and economic activity

Land Transportation Effects on Manufacture and Regional Economy of Sumatra of Indonesia

The study aimed to determine the effect simultaneously between land transportation and manufacturing industry on economic improvement An explanation research was conducted to obtain the causal relationship between land transportation and manufacture. The data used in this study were off secondary sources and time series data forms from 2006-2015 data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Labuhan Batu Regency. Regression analysis was applied the mathematical relationship between the output variable or dependent (Y) with one or several input / independent variables (X). The mathematical relationship is used as a regression model that is used to predict or predict the output value (Y) based on a particular input value (X). The results of this study indicated that simultaneously the land transportation variable and manufacturing industry have a positive and significant effect on the economic improvement variable. The results obtained a tcount value of 3.599. Thus tcount is greater than t table (3.241> 1.894); then H0 is rejected HA is accepted, meaning that partially there is a positive and significant influence between land transportation and economic improvement. The results obtained a tcount of 0.112. Thus tcount is greater than t table (0.112 <1.894) then H0 is accepted HA is rejected, meaning that partially there is no positive and significant influence between the manufacturing industry on economic improvement

Digital Game Prototyping Using Board Game/Table Top as it’s Mock Up Case Study: Taman Putroe Phang Game Project

Many of the games with the Indonesian culture adaptations has been developed nowadays. Some of them are made for commercial markets and the other still developed as portfolio and also academic purposes. Some games, already had great gameplay and also had some beautifully digitalized artwork. However, in academic level games projects such as communications designs student’s final projects games prototyping, they often show many errors in the process, especially at gameplay and asset’s development. This circumstances happened because they (the students) lack of the knowledge about how to make a good gameplay based on narrations and always concern about how to designing the visual contents than make it have a great game. With the qualitative research methods by analyzing a games’ project called Taman Putroe Phang, a game project which adapting the Aceh’s Kingdom Romance History. Using game development theory and game design theories, this research wants to explain about how the game developed using board game/ tabletop prototyping before go to the digitalized final game design. The research purpose is to give a perspective and helps the beginner game designer to make a success game prototype using the table top mock up at the process, that shown in game’s prototype. Sensitivity Analysis of Transportation Production Costs in Indonesia

The transportation production cost (TPC) considerably has strong influence to the national economic condition. This paper focused on the analysis of the transportation production cost sensitivity in relation to the variation of the external affecting factor, which are fuel price, rupiah exchange rate and Bank of Indonesia interest rate. Based on the R2 values, the TPC components in general have significant correlation, with the fuel prices. However, they do not have high correlation to the fluctuation of interest rate and rupiah exchange rate. The sensitivity analysis shows that a 10% rise on fuel price would cause 6%, 2%, 7%, 2.4%, and 4.9% rise on the TPC of intercity bus, ferry ship, interisland ship, train, and airline, respectively

Religius Values in Traditional Seloko of Jambi Malay (a Content Analysis Study)

The objective of this research was to get a deep understanding about religius values in the traditional seloko of Jambi. This research take focus of the religius values in traditional seloko of Jambi Malay. Data in this research are traditional seloko in the texts containing religius values. Primary data were obtained from a collection of traditional seloko of Jambi Malay recorded by a team of Lembaga Adat of Jambi Province, chaired by Hasip Kalimudin Syam (Pokok-pokok Adat Pucuk Jambi Sembilan Lurah, 2001). This data were analyzing using content Analyses method was combined with hermeneutic study technique to reveal the implicit meanings of the texts in traditional seloko of Jambi Malay.The results of this research show that the religius values in the traditional seloko of Jambi Malay are related to the religius values of man's relationship with God, man with nature, man with society, and man with himself

Metode pengembangan sistem yang dipakai penulis dalam penyusunan skripsi adalahmodel pengembangan software waterfall (model air terjun), dikarenakan proses initelahterorganisasi secara teratur sehingga resiko akan terjadinya pengulangan proses langkahkerja akan terhindar sebab proses langkah kerja dilakukan secara berurutan. Hasil Implementasi merupakan suatu hasil penerapan dari rancangan output dan rancanganinput yang menggambarkan form keluaran (Output ) dan form masukan ( Input ) yang akandihasilkan oleh perangkat lunak. Perancangan Pemetaan Tps di Kota Jambi dengan Sistem Informasi Geografis Berbasis Android

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat aplikasi yang dapat memberikan informasi lokasi terdekat pembuangan sampah umum di Kota Jambi. Proses pengamatan dilakukan dengan melihat pemetaan pembuangan limbah publik yang telah ditetapkan oleh Dinas Kebersihan, Pertamanan dan Pemakaman yang terletak di berbagai kecamatan di Kota Jambi. Dari informasi yang diberikan, masih banyak orang yang tidak tahu di mana lokasi pembuangan limbah umum di Kota Jambi dan meskipun kapasitas pembuangan limbah sudah penuh, masyarakat masih dipaksa membuang sampah dan akhirnya sampah terurai. jalan-jalan yang menyebabkan lingkungan kotor di sekitar pembuangan limbah publik. Berdasarkan keadaan ini dari berbagai masalah yang ada dalam penelitian ini pengamatan, maka perlu dibangun suatu aplikasi berdasarkan pemetaan lokasi pembuangan limbah umum sehingga menghasilkan aplikasi sistem informasi geografis berbasis Android dan semoga aplikasi ini dapat digunakan oleh semua orang. masyarakat Kota Jambi khususnya dan Indonesia pada umumnya. Dengan berkembangnya aplikasi ini, diharapkan masyarakat Kota Jambi dapat memperoleh informasi lokasi terdekat pembuangan sampah masyarakat secara cepat dan tepat serta mereka mengetahui jarak lokasi dan pelacakan pembuangan sampah umum. &nbsp
