Eorthe: Bumi [Book One]

This creative project is a novel that is telling the story of a young man named, Rei, in his journey to find the truth about his late parents to help him find who he is, and a young princess called Aria in her quest, accompanied by Rei and their friends, in order to regain her right as the one and only successor to the throne of a Kingdom named Earendel. In this story, I decided to use quest and social criticism as the two main themes, while the sub-themes are quest for identity, quest for power, and for social criticism, it is change versus tradition. This to assist me in realizing my aim for writing this work which is to help raising more awareness towards our surroundings by promoting discovery process in the young adult world and social change. During their journey, the two major characters will see how some people is still having difficulty in accepting a change in their tradition from having men as the heads of the family to having a woman as one. The family here represents the patriarchal tradition or custom that most of families hold. As for the genre, I chose fantasy with the sub-genre epic fantasy and using the common epic fantasy properties, such as magic, supernatural creatures, the quest conducted by the two major characters, and also the existence of the good and the evil one

Dikabulaknnya Perceraian Dari Perkawinan Yang Tidak Dicatatkan dalam Studi Putusan Pengadilan Negeri Bengkayang Nomor.03/PDT.G/2013/PN.BKY merupakan putusan PN yang mengabulkan perceraian dari perkawinan yang tidak dicatatkan sehingga menimbulkan kekaburan hukum yang bersinggungan dengan kepastian hukum yaitu bahwa suatu perkawinan yang tidak dicatatkan seharusnya perkawinan tersebut dianggap tidak ada atau tidak pernah diakui oleh negara, tidak bisa diproses secara hukum dan bahwa perkawinan tersebut sudah menyalahi undang-undang sehingga tidak berkepastian hukum dan tidak dilindungi yang dapat berakibat tidak dapatnya diajukan suatu perbuatan hukum setelah perkawinan berlangsung, salah satunya sebagai dasar dalam mengajukan perceraian.Kata kuci: perkawinan tidak dicatatkan, perceraia

Pengaruh Bankruptcy Risk, Size Dan Book-to-market Perusahaan Terhadap Imbal Hasil

This study investigates: a) the influence o f firm size and book-to-market ratio on bankruptcy risk, and b) the effect o f bankruptcy risk, firm size, and book-to-market ratio on subsequent return. The study employs Altman Z-Score and Ohlson 0-Score as proxies for bankruptcy risk. The results show that size has positive impact on Bankruptcy Risk measured by Altman Z-Score while book-to-market has positive impact on bankruptcy risk measured Ohlson 0-Score. Furthermore, the results show that none o f the variables has significant impact on subsequent return. Overall, this study asserts Dichev\u27s (1998) findings that bankruptcy risk is not rewarded by higher stock returns and therefore not systematic

Fluktuasi Harga Komoditas Pangan dan Dampaknya terhadap Inflasi di Provinsi Banten

Banten Province has a fluctuation inflation. The highest inflation is contributed by food category. Therefore, the price of food commodity become an important issue in the province of Banten. This research analyze the prices of food commoditiy, such as rice, corn, curly red chili, onion, beef, chicken meat and layer egg. The purposes of this research are, to describe the food commodity price developments in Banten using descriptive analysis, to analyze fluctuations of food commodity prices and their impact on inflation in Banten using VAR models (Vector Autoregression), to analyze the inflation linkages between regions around Banten using Granger Causality. The results show the developments of commodity prices such as rice, corn, curly red chili, onion,beef, chicken meat and layer eggs generally showed an upward trend. VAR analysis results showed that in the short term only curly red chili which have a significant impact on inflation in Banten. On the long-term there are six commodities that impact significantly on inflation in Banten, those are beef, corn, rice, chicken meat, layer egg and red chili curly. The results of Granger causality test show that there is only one way relation that is Banten inflation affecting Lampung inflation

Analisis Disparitas Pembangunan Ekonomi Antar Kecamatan di Kota Medan

This research aimed to determine the pattern of economic development of each district, the level of disparity (inequality) economic development that occurs among districts, and the appropriate strategies and policies in problem solving disparity (inequality) economic development in Medan. This research uses Typologi Klassen analysis, Williamson Index analysis, and descriptive analysis.The results of Typologi Klassen analysis during the periode 2001-2005 and 2006-2010 classify 3 districts included in quadrant I (fast forward and fast growing) , 5 districts included in quadrant II (forward but depressed), 2 districts included in quadrant III (fast growing), 4 districts included in quadrant IV (relatively underdeveloped) and 7 districts have been changed the pattern of economic development. Analysis Williamson Index shows that the value are low with an average index is 0.16994. So the strategies and policies an needed in the problem solving of disparity or inequality that occurred in Medan
