Origin of second-harmonic generation in the incommensurate phase of K2SeO4

We show that a ferroelectric phase transition takes place in the incommensurate phase of the K2SeO4 crystal. The ferroelectric character of the IC phase explains the second-harmonic generation observed in the corresponding temperature range.Comment: 5 pages, 1 figur

Superfluidity of a perfect quantum crystal

In recent years, experimental data were published which point to the possibility of the existence of superfluidity in solid helium. To investigate this phenomenon theoretically we employ a hierarchy of equations for reduced density matrices which describes a quantum system that is in thermodynamic equilibrium below the Bose-Einstein condensation point, the hierarchy being obtained earlier by the author. It is shown that the hierarchy admits solutions relevant to a perfect crystal (immobile) in which there is a frictionless flow of atoms, which testifies to the possibility of superfluidity in ideal solids. The solutions are studied with the help of the bifurcation method and some their peculiarities are found out. The current economic situation dictates the need to find new ways of increasing the efficiency of enterprises, analysis of causes and factors hindering their development. The purpose of the study is defined as the rationale for the forming of a model of performance management company. The object of research is the process of forming a model of performance management company. The subject of the study is scientific and theoretical aspects of the model performance management company. We investigated the existing models of performance management company. Gaps were identified in a unified approach to managing enterprise performance. A model of performance management company have been proposed. The stages of the target management, processes and their benefits have been investigated.. We analyzed the influence of corporate values on the effective management of the enterprise. Accounting for authoring and analysis of different approaches to the management efficiency of the company allow to form a model of effective management of the enterprise.В условиях экономической нестабильности перед руководством любого предприятия постоянно возникает проблема повышения эффективности его деятельности. Только высокая эффективность может обеспечить конкурентоспособность предприятия, а вследствие этого его благополучие и коммерческий успех. Современная экономическая ситуация диктует необходимость поиска новых направлений повышения эффективности деятельности предприятий, анализа причин и факторов, сдерживающих их развитие. Цель исследования определена как обоснование необходимости формирования модели управления эффективностью деятельности предприятия. Исследованы существующие модели управления эффективностью деятельности предприятия, выявлены недостатки единого подхода к управлению эффективностью деятельности предприятия, предложена модель управления эффективностью деятельности предприятия, рассмотрены этапы целевого управления, процессы, происходящие на них, и их преимущества, проанализировано влияние корпоративных ценностей на эффективное управление предприятием. Electric-field-induced monoclinic phase in (Ba,Sr)TiO3_3 thin film

We have studied electric-field-induced symmetry lowering in the tetragonal (001)-oriented heteroepitaxial (Ba$_{0.8}$Sr$_{0.2}$)TiO$_3$ thin film deposited on (001)MgO substrate. Polarized micro-Raman spectra were recorded from the film area in between two planar electrodes deposited on the film surface. Presence of \textit{c}-domains with polarization normal to the substrate was confirmed from polarized Raman study under zero field, while splitting and hardening of the \textit{E}(TO) soft mode and polarization changes in the Raman spectra suggest monoclinic symmetry under external electric field
