    Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Inkuiri untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar IPA Siswa Kelas V Sdn 026 Padang Mutung Kabupaten Kampar

    This research is motivated by the fact that science student learning outcomes appear to be low and there are still many students who have not reached the KKM. Of the 20 students only 10 students (50%), which reached the KKM. And 10 students (50%). This research is a classroom action research conducted in Class V SDN 026 Padang Mutung Kabupaten Kampar. Research instruments consisted of a Learning Tool used in this research is guided by the Education Unit Level Curriculum (SBC), known as Curriculum 2006 learning device consists of a syllabus, lesson plans, student worksheets and observation sheet. The first meeting for the first cycle of activity the teachers with an average teacher activity was observed on the second cycle increased compared with the cycle I. At the first meeting I cycle average teacher activity 54% in the category enough, at the second meeting of the average activity teachers increased to 66% also in the category of Good. At the third meeting of the second cycle the average activity of 75% of teachers with good category and the fourth meeting with an average activity of 87% in the category of Very Good. The first meeting of the first cycle an average of 41% of student activity with enough categories, at the second meeting of the average activity increased to 66% in both categories. At the third meeting of the second cycle an average of 83% of student activity in the very good category and the fourth meeting increased compared with the previous meetings by an average of 91% of student activity with very good category. Student learning outcomes after initial data of students worth over KKM only 10 people (50%) after the first cycle an increase of up to 12 people (60%) after the second cycle to be increased up to 16 people (80%) Similarly, the average value average student classically obtained at baseline and after just 61.5 I cycle to increase by an average of 68 and in the second cycle to be increased to 73. This means that the classical value obtained student has above KKM has been determined

    Stroberi merupakan salah satu komoditas buah-buahan yang penting di dunia, terutama untuk negara-negara beriklim subtropis. Perbanyakan vegetatif pada tanaman stroberi yang paling banyak dilakukan oleh petani yaitu dengan menumbuhkan stolon, ada juga dengan anakan, namun belum ada riset ilmiah tentang bahan tanam dan pengaruhnya terhadap produkstivitas stroberi. Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) Untuk mempelajari pengaruh jenis bahan tanam dan varietas pada pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman stroberi (2) Untuk menentukan jenis bahan tanam maupun varietas stroberi yang paling baik, sehingga diperoleh pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman stroberi yang terbaik. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan April - Juli 2013 di Kebun Percobaan Kliran (Sumber Brantas). Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial. Faktor I = macam bahan tanam (indukan, anakan dan stolon). Faktor II = varietas (Santung, Sweet Charlie dan Lokal Brastagi). Masing-masing kombinasi perlakuan diulang 3 kali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan bahan tanam Indukan dengan varietas Lokal Brastagi memberikan hasil terbaik pada parameter bobot basah tanaman, bobot kering tanaman dan jumlah anakan. Sedangkan bahan tanam stolon dengan varietas Lokal Brastagi menghasilkan panjang buah tertinggi

    Tangerine (Citrus nobilis var. microcarpa) is most widely cultivated Citrus in Indonesia, it's around 80% of all population of Citrus. Citrus can growth and cultivated in low land or upland (0-1500 m above sea level). Indonesia has extreme climate change (La Nina) in 2009 and 2010. Extreme climate change is one of the factors that affect the growth and productivity of citrus both in quality and quantity. Tangerine require 6-9 months of wet season and 3-6 months of dry season, although need enough water in dry season. This research aims to study the effect of extreme climate change with high rainfall on phenology, productivity and quality of Tangerine in Banyuwangi, Jember and Lumajang. This Research was conducted at Tangerine center from 2005 until 2011 using observation method, the tangerine that use was from 5 years after planted until 12 years after planted. The Result showed that high precipitation occurred in 2010 (without dry season) affect the phenology cycle from 1-3 times in a year until 4-6 times in a year, but not become a fruit due high flower drop. It's cause a decrease in Productivity form 20-30 ton/h until 5-10 ton/h and also a decrease in quality (color, flavor and total dissolved solid). The result also showed that PJTKS system (Integrated Management for Healthy Tangerine) can prevent a decrease in Tangerine Productivity (10-12 ton/h). This Research also obtained that dry land and sandy land has potential for cultivation of tangerine that originally grown in paddy field

    Kinetic desorption models for the release of nanosilver from an experimental nanosilver coating on polystyrene food packaging

    To predict the kinetic desorption of silver from an experimental nanosilver coated polystyrene food packaging material into food simulants (0, 1, 2 and 3% acetic acid (HAc) in distilled water (dH2O)) at 4 temperatures (10, 20, 40 and 70 °C), 5 sorption models were examined for their performance. A pseudo-second order kinetic sorption model was found to provide the best prediction of an unseen desorption validation dataset with R2 = 0.90 and RMSE = 3.21. Poor predictions were witnessed for desorption at 70 °C, potentially due to re-adsorption of the silver back onto the polystyrene substrate, as shown in the kinetic migration experiments. Similarly, the temperature dependence of the desorption rate constant was satisfactorily described using the Arrhenius equation with the exception of the 70 °C scenario. The use of sorption models identified scenarios that may limit human exposure to nanosilver migrating from this experimental nanocoating, i.e. low temperature applications. Industrial relevance: The use of antimicrobial packaging has the potential to reduce food spoilage and risk from pathogenic microorganisms while reducing food waste by extending the shelf life of food products. Coating of antimicrobial silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) to polymer surfaces is a highly advantageous technology as microbial contamination predominantly occurs on the surface of fresh and processed food products. However, uncertainty related to the potential release of nanoparticles from food packaging materials, subsequent potential human exposure and toxicology is a barrier to the uptake of these novel materials. In the European Union, where the safety assessment of these materials is stringent, mathematical models used to predict the worst case migration of nanoparticles from food packaging materials have supported the acceptance of some nanomaterials for use in food packaging. The performance of a number of desorption models was evaluated to predict the release of AgNPs from AgNP coated polystyrene. The model identified factors that influenced migration and possible industrial applications for the developed material to minimise human exposure. The study highlights the potential benefits of using predictive models to assess migration of NPs from polymers into food simulants instead of time consuming and expensive migration studies

Hunian vertikal kota khususnya rumah susun menjadi salah satu alternatif, terutama dalam mengatasi permasalahan kepadatan penduduk di kampung kota agar dapat memenuhi kebutuhan akan hunian yang lebih layak, lebih sehat, dan lebih nyaman. Ruang publik adalah hal yang sangat penting pada rumah susun karena merupakan pusat interaksi antara penghuni sehingga banyak aktivitas yang terjadi di dalamnya, tetapi seringkali disalahgunakan. Kajian ruang publik ini dilihat dari latar belakang penghuni rumah susun, besaran standar ruang publik, besaran unit hunian, dan sarana prasarana yang menunjang kegiatan pada rumah susun. Metode studi dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif analitif secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ruang publik yang disalahgunakan adalah ruang publik yang berada dekat dengan unit hunian. Penghuni merasa dapat meklaim wilayah ruang publik tersebut demi tercapainya kebutuhan dan Kenyamanan ruang mereka pribadi. Kata kunci : Rumah susun; Ruang publik; Penyalahgunaan Fungsi Ruang ABSTRACT Urbanization and Increasing of population makes the occupancy is also need to increased, particularly in urban areas. But limited space and the expensive prices of land become obstacles. Vertical housing especially flats in particular city became one of the alternatives to solve the problems of overcrowding in the hometown in order to meet the need for more decent housing, healthier, and more comfortable. Public space is an important thing in the vertical housing because it is the main place that the occupants can interact each other with so much activity going on it. but it is often misused. This study will observes misuse of public space in the flats seen from the background of residents, a standard amount of public space, the amount of residential units, and infrastructure that support the activities of the flats. The methods that we used was descriptive analitive in qualitative and quantitative study. The results showed that public space that is located close to the residential units is most misused. Occupants feel that they can claim the public space area to achieve the needs and comfort of their personal space

    Temperature analysis of ZnO/p-Si heterojunction using thermionic emission model

    Two ZnO/p-Si heterojunction diode structures are modeled based on thermionic emission in numerical computation environment, and their current-voltage characteristics were validated in Spice with 500 Ω and 5 kΩ load resistance. Both structures are differentiated based on thickness, metal size, and doping concentration. Parameters extracted such as barrier height, ideality factor, activation energy, series resistance, and shunt resistance are studied towards temperature-dependent study from 300 K to 673 K. Structure 1 proved to be exhibiting lower barrier height , series resistance and shunt resistance while structure 2 has lower ideality factor, activation energy, and turn on voltage. Modeling the ideality factor of structure 2 predicts a value of 0.25 at 673 K. Meanwhile, the turn on voltage of structure 2 is shown to achieve 0.8 V at room temperature. Barrier heights for structure 1 are reported to increase from 0.68 eV to 1.17 eV when temperature varies from 300 K to 673 K but series resistance and shunt resistance decreases with temperature
