The gravitational waves are fictitious entities - III
Only Levi-Civita's electromagnetic interpretation of the characteristic
hypersurfaces of Einstein field equations is conceptually correct.Comment: 7 pages, PDF from MS-Word9
Non-existence of gravitational waves. The stages of the theoretical discovery (1917-2003)
A short history of the theoretical discovery that the gravitational waves of
general relativity do not have a physical reality.Comment: 5 pages, LaTeX, added a parergon on PSR 1913+1
Relativistic motions
A physical consequence of a well-known Fermi's theorem: no motion of masses
can generate gravitational waves.Comment: 2 pages, PD
On the displacements of Einsteinian fields et cetera
I give here: i) a very simple proof that the physical non-existence of
gravitational waves (GW's) is quite consistent with the basic principles of
general relativity (GR); ii) a new argument against the physical existence of
GW's; iii) a criticism of Fock's treatment of the GW's; iv) some remarks on
recent experimental investigations concerning the GW's.Comment: 5 pages, LaTex, to be published on Spacetime & Substanc
On Michell-Laplace dark body
The dark body of Michell-Laplace has nothing to do with the relativistic
black hole.Comment: 2 pages, LaTeX, corrected Mitchell into Michell in title and abstrac
Again on the non-existence of gravitational waves and of black holes
Very straightforward arguments proving the physical non-existence of GW's and
of BH's. They are so simple that even the members of the Wheelerian
establishment will understand them.Comment: 2 pages, LaTeX, to be published on Spacetime & Substanc
Wrong "idees fixes" in GR
Six wrong idees fixes concerning the black holes and the gravitational waves.Comment: 4 pages, LaTe
No GW is emitted by B PSR1913+16
In the exact (non-linear) formulation of general relativity (GR) no motion of
bodies can give origin to gravitational waves (GW's) - as it has been proved.
Accordingly, the measured rate of change of the orbital period of binary pulsar
B PSR1913+16 must have other causes, different from the emission of GW's; maybe
the viscous losses of the unseen pulsar companion, if it were e.g. a helium
star.Comment: 5 pages, LaTeX, to be published on Spacetime & Substanc
Gravity and motion
Several arguments concerning the "vexatae quaestiones" of the gravity field
of a point mass and of the wavy gravity field.Comment: 10 pages, PD
On PSR1913+16
There are reference frames for which both stars of binary radio-pulsar
PSR1913+16 are at rest. As a consequence, PSR1913+16 does not emit gravity
waves. (If the accelerated bodies should send out a gravitational radiation,
they would represent a class of physically privileged systems. But this is
forbidden by general relativity.)Comment: 6 pages, PDF, submitted to Il Nuovo Ciment
