    Optimum transmitter receiver ratio for maximum wireless energy transfer

    Due to high demand of using cordless mobile device, the interest in wireless energy transfer (WET) has been growth intensively. This paper presented a method to obtained optimum transmitter receiver ratio for maximum performance of WET system using different initial antenna size at various distance. An optimized algorithm has been developed to determine the optimum ratios that yield the highest wireless transfer efficiency (WTE) at near field communication (NFC) frequency, 13.56MHz. 30mm × 30mm single square loop antenna is used as initial size of both transmitter and receiver using FR4 with operating distance = 50mm. Operating distance and initial size of the antenna will be varied and the effect to the WTE will be studied using Matlab, verified using Microsoft Studio CST. At distance = 50mm and initial size of the antenna = 30mm × 30mm, optimum transmitter to receiver ratio equal to 1:3 is obtained. The pattern of optimum transmitter receiver ratio between Matlab and CST has met an agreement. This research limited to integer transmitter receiver ratio used only and no decimal number being involved in magnify the transmitter size

    Each country has sovereignty intact and filled up the air space above its territory, while the border region of the country air stretched over land and over the territorial waters. This research aims to find out how the nature of the regulation concerning the national sovereignty of air space as well as the implementation of law enforcement on the border violations in the Indonesian national airspace by foreign aircraft. The results of this paper are: That the sovereignty of air space is political independence of any state that can not be contested, so that all activities across borders another country must obtain permission from the relevant country. Law enforcement against violations of national airspace on the border of Indonesia conducted by foreign aircraft can not be completed because of the limitations of the main tool air weapons systems

    21 cm adalah salah satu garis emisi penting didalam astronomi radio. Garis ini umumnya digunakan untuk mempelajari karakteristik galaksi-galaksi. Artikel ini mempresentasikan sebuah antena dipol berbentuk V untuk sistem telekop radio 21 cm, yang berkorespondensi dengan frekuensi pengamatan 1420MHz. Designnya telah diimplementasikan dan diukur. Hasil pengukuran memperlihatkan kesesuaian dengan simulasi, dengan eror frekuensi puncak sebesar 0,7%. SWR yang diperoleh juga cukup rendah, yaitu sekitar 1,14. Antena yang diajukan pada artikel ini berpotensi untuk digunakan sebagai feed pada antena reflektor atau sebagai elemen penyusun pada sebuah sistem antena array

    This research aims to develop and implement digital-based interactive media that can improve the gross motor skills of early childhood in Marisa District Kindergarten. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with a mix-method approach, which is a combination of qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research stages include needs analysis, media design, validation by experts, limited trials, and field trials. The research subjects consisted of teachers and kindergarten children involved in the media implementation process. The results of the study show that the interactive media developed is very feasible to use, based on the validation of media and PAUD experts with a feasibility score of more than 85%. Field trials showed a significant improvement in children\u27s gross motor skills, from pretest results to posttest, with a significance value (p) < 0.05. Qualitatively, children look more active, enthusiastic, and motivated during the learning process. This media also received a positive response from teachers because it was easy to use and able to create an interesting learning atmosphere. In conclusion, this digital interactive media is effective in improving early childhood gross motor and can be used as an innovative alternative in technology-based learning in early childhood education.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengimplementasikan media interaktif berbasis digital yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan motorik kasar anak usia dini di TK Kecamatan Marisa. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan pendekatan mix-method, yakni gabungan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Tahapan penelitian meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan media, validasi oleh ahli, uji coba terbatas, dan uji coba lapangan. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari guru dan anak-anak TK yang terlibat dalam proses implementasi media. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media interaktif yang dikembangkan sangat layak digunakan, berdasarkan validasi ahli media dan PAUD dengan skor kelayakan lebih dari 85%. Uji coba lapangan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada kemampuan motorik kasar anak, dari hasil pretest ke posttest, dengan nilai signifikansi (p) < 0,05. Secara kualitatif, anak-anak terlihat lebih aktif, antusias, dan termotivasi selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Media ini juga mendapat respon positif dari guru karena mudah digunakan dan mampu menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang menarik. Kesimpulannya, media interaktif digital ini efektif dalam meningkatkan motorik kasar anak usia dini dan dapat dijadikan alternatif inovatif dalam pembelajaran berbasis teknologi di PAUD

    Potential of gamma irradiation on postharvest quality of tomato Solanum lycopersicum L.: a review

    Tomato is the most consumed fruit, and an important agricultural product. Losses associated with tomatoes are mainly due to their perishability. Food irradiation using gamma rays is one of the preservation methods which can be used to extend the storage duration while maintaining the sensory quality of tomatoes. This review discussed the potential of gamma irradiation on the postharvest quality aspects of tomatoes through radiation sterilisation. Gamma irradiation has also been proven suitable in delaying the rapid maturity of tomatoes, thus extending their storage life. Doses between 0.5 and 2.5 kGy have been found to maintain the colour, texture, taste, flavour, and overall sensory quality of tomatoes. Gamma irradiation has also been well adopted to control foodborne spoilage and pathogenic microorganisms. Nowadays, many countries allow food irradiation technology as a suitable and cost-effective solution for the problems caused by= various types of insects and microorganisms in fresh produce and food products thereof. This review will thus provide updated and in-depth information useful for the producers, manufacturers, and policymakers alike in the adoption of gamma irradiation for tomato preservation

    ASPIRASI PEREMPUAN DALAM PEMBENTUKAN PERATURAN DAERAH PROVINSI SULAWESI TENGGARA PERIODE 2014-2019 (Studi Pada Kantor DPRD Sulawesi Tenggara)

    Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini: (1) untuk mengetahui aspirasi perempuan dalam pembentukan peraturan daerah di Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara, (2)untuk mengetahui hambatan-hambatan apa yang dihadapi perempuan dalam memperjuangkan aspirasi perempuan di DPRD Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara. Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Subyek penelitian ini adalah perempuan yang menjadi anggota legislatif di DPRD Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara Periode 2014-2019 dan informan ketua DPRD, sekretaris DPRD, pimpinan fraksi, dan LSM. Teknik analisis data adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hanya terdapat 1 (satu) aspirasi perempuan yang menjadi produk legislatif Periode 2014-2019. Namun dalam peraturan daerah tersebut telah memuat berbagai aspek aspirasi perempuan terkait dengan perlindungan perempuan yakni hak-hak perempuan sebagai korban kekerasan baik sebagai tindakan pencegahan dan penanganan yang melibatkan tanggung jawab pemerintah, partisipasi masyarakat dan aparat hukum. Adapun aspirasi perempuan meliputi penciptaan rasa aman, hak perempuan sebagai korban berbagai bentuk perlindungan dan tanggung jawab pihak pemerintah. Namun demikian, masih terdapat berbagai hambatan yang dijumpai yang bekum dilakukan oleh lembaga legislatif DPRD Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara Periode 2014-2019 dalam memperjuangkan aspirasi perempuan di berbagai sektor kehidupan sosial masyarakat seperti kendala masih kurangnya anggota legislatif perempuan, latar belakang pembentukan peraturan daerah DPRD Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara anggota legislatif perempuan yang belum mengakomodir aktivis gerakan perempuan dan belum terbangunnya hubungan permanen antara legislatif dengan lembaga sosial gerakan perempuan. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah aspirasi perempuan di lembaga DPRD Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara Periode 2014-2019 belum maksimal dan hanya terdapat 1 (satu) aspirasi perempuan  yang menjadi produk aspirasi perempuan DPRD Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara. Hambatan upaya pemenuhan aspirasi perempuan di DPRD Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara adalah keterbatasan jumlah anggota legislatif perempuan, latar belakang sosial, dan penjaringan aspirasi perempuan.Kata Kunci: Aspirasi Perempuan, Pembentukan Peraturan Daerah, DPRD Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggar

    Design of Wideband Low Noise Amplifier using Negative Feedback Topology for Motorola Application

    This paper describes the design of wideband low noise amplifier (LNA) for Motorola application which targeted to be applied in two-way communication mobile system architecture. The technical specification was deduced from the TIA-603C standard receiver system sensitivity and intermodulation. The proposed LNA exhibit low power consumption and adopts a negative feedback wideband amplifier topology, operated from 100 MHz to 1 GHz which covers the whole Land Mobile FM Communication Equipment (136 – 941 MHz) frequency band. The proposed topology solve the RF tracing problem inherited in the targeted frequency and also the problem of economically impractical PCB size rendered by other wideband amplifier methods. The Advanced Design System software is used to perform the simulations. The measured result show the proposed LNA using FR4 board has a stable gain of more than 15 dB, noise figure less than 1.5 dB, S11 and S22 less than -10 dB, with current consumption of 8mA from voltage supply at 1.8

    Parameter Optimization for Conventional Soft Frequency Reuse in Multi Cell Networks using Extreme Learning Machine and Genetic Algorithm

    Soft Frequency reuse (SFR) has been used as a method to reduce the inter-cell interference between cell edge user and cell center users. With a proper adjustment of the system, it can gives us the best throughput of the SFR. The objective of this study is to optimize the three parameters of the SFR obtained from Taguchi model. These three parameters consist of power ratios of the base station (β), concentration of cell-edge user and user distribution of sub-subcarriers. Firstly, the SFR data is modeled using Extreme Learning Machine (ELM). The model is then validated using the unseen samples based on the mean square error (MSE) criterion. Secondly, the best model with the lowest MSE is then used for the parameters optimization by using genetic algorithm (GA) in order to obtain the highest throughput. In the series of experiments, the obtained results offer the highest throughput with reliable and consistent selected parameters. In this paper, the combination ELM-GA technique has been proven to increase the throughput of the system
