Noncomputability Arising In Dynamical Triangulation Model Of Four-Dimensional Quantum Gravity
Computations in Dynamical Triangulation Models of Four-Dimensional Quantum
Gravity involve weighted averaging over sets of all distinct triangulations of
compact four-dimensional manifolds. In order to be able to perform such
computations one needs an algorithm which for any given and a given compact
four-dimensional manifold constructs all possible triangulations of
with simplices. Our first result is that such algorithm does not
exist. Then we discuss recursion-theoretic limitations of any algorithm
designed to perform approximate calculations of sums over all possible
triangulations of a compact four-dimensional manifold.Comment: 8 Pages, LaTex, PUPT-132
Direct ESR detection of S=3/2 states for nitrosyl iron complexes in FeZSM-5 zeolites
The formation of paramagnetic complexes between Fe2+ ions and NO molecules with total spin S=3/2 has been observed in FeZSM-5 zeolites. These complexes exhibit a typical ESR signal with a component at g=4.0 and are spectroscopically similar to those observed in iron-containing enzymes. Such spin states of Fe ions have not been reported for heterogeneous catalysts. The application of NO as a spin probe for investigation of the state of low-valence Fe ions in zeolite matrices is discussed. © 2001 Elsevier Science B.V.</p

System of key performance indicators as a method for executive decision-making
Key performance indicators, KPI are a proven cutting-edge tool for process productivity and staff performance monitoring. Therefore, today it is possible to find the use of this tool in the most varied spheres and industries. However, the system implementation is a long and painstaking process, which requires financial, labor and time expenditures. But in case of its successful implementation, KPI technology will provide the balance of advantage for the company management and contribute to its growth. The article presents the selection mechanism of KPI system development and implementation methods. Using key performance indicators, the organization is able to manage the process and modify it, as well as define objectives for employees and motivate them to achieve their objectives. KPIs are based on measuring quantitative benefits. Control shall be based on comprehensive and reliable information about the company’s process productivity. This is the only way to take quick management decisions, make adjustments to the operation of processes that will contribute to the achievement of strategic objectives as a whole

Competence “Engineering design” – a platform for developing the skills of designing an object of capital construction
The construction industry is undergoing a change in approaches to the design of capital construction projects due to the preparation of consolidated digital models in the course of designing and working with the information placed therein. This requires updating the content and changing the format of training students in the fields of study and specialties related to the design of capital construction projects and their engineering systems. Based on the comparison of the current format of training engineering students to the format of professional activities of engineers involved in the design of capital construction projects, it is shown that today’s training system does not fully take into account the specifics of team work of engineers of various profiles in the course of project development. The necessity of using methods of cross-discipline team training is substantiated. It is proposed to use the best practices in competence R94 “Engineering Design” of the WorldSkills Russia “Young Professionals” national championship as a methodological basis for organizing such training format
