PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN SOCRATIC DIALOGUE UNTUK MELIHAT PROFIL KETERAMPILAN BERTANYA SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN FISIKA

Melalui observasi dan wawancara yang dilakukan pada guru dan siswa sebuah SMP swasta di kabupaten Sumedang, diketahui bahwa jumlah pertanyaan yang diungkapkan pada tiap pertemuan tidak lebih dari dua hingga tiga buah pertanyaan. Jenis pertanyaan yang muncul tidak lebih dari dua jenis. Penulis ingin melihat profil keterampilan bertanya siswa dari segi kuantitas maupun kualitas setelah menerapkan Socratic dialogue tipe Huib Schwab. Metode penelitian yang penulis gunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh data bahwa Profil keterampilan bertanya siswa secara kuantitatif, pada pertemuan pertama muncul enam pertanyaan, pertemuan kedua muncul 13 pertanyaan, dan pertemuan ketiga muncul 12 pertanyaan. Keterampilan bertanya kualitatif sesuai bobot nilai pertanyaan pada pertemuan pertama memperoleh presentase sebesar 73%, pertemuan kedua presentasenya sebesar 60%, dan pertemuan ketiga mendapat presentase sebesar 75%. Kualitas ketrampilan bertanya siswa berdasarkan jumlah variasi jenis pertanyaan pada pertemuan pertama memperoleh presentase sebesar 33%, pertemuan kedua presentasenya sebesar 33%, dan pertemuan ketiga mendapat presentase sebesar 100%. Dengan demikian, metode Socratic dialogue dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran fisika untuk memunculkan keterampilan bertanya siswa dari segi kualitatif maupun kuantitatif. Through observations and interviews conducted in the teachers and students of a private junior high school in the district Sumedang, it is known that the number of questions at each meeting expressed no more than two to three questions. The types of questions that appear no more than two types. The author would like to see the profile of skills asked students in terms of quantity and quality after applying the Socratic dialogue types Huib Schwab. The research method that I use is the descriptive research method. Based on the results of the study, data showed that asking students the skills profile quantitatively, at the first meeting appeared six questions, meeting both appear 13 questions, and the third meeting appeared 12 questions. Skills appropriate to ask qualitative questions on the weight value of the first meeting of the percentage gain of 73%, the second meeting of the percentage of 60%, and the third meeting gets a percentage of 75%. The quality of questioning skills of students based on the amount of variation in the types of questions the first meeting of the percentage gain of 33%, the second meeting of the percentage of 33%, and the third meeting gets a percentage of 100%. Thus, the Socratic dialogue method can be applied in physics learning skills asked students to bring qualitative and quantitative terms

Three-parameter lognormal distribution: parametric estimation using l-moment and tl-moment approach

The three-parameter lognormal (LN3) distribution has been applied to the frequency analysis of flood events. L-moment and TL-moment methods are applied in estimating parameters of the LN3 distribution which are L-moment, η = 0 and TL-moment, η = 1, 2, 3, and 4 to the LN3 distribution. A simulation study is conducted in this paper by fitting this distribution to generate LN3 and non LN3 samples. Relative Root Mean Square Error (RRMSE) and relative bias are evaluated to illustrate the performance of this distribution. The performance of TL-moments approach was compared with L-moments based on the streamflow data from Sg. Trolak and Sg. Slim which are located in Perak, Malaysia. The results showed that TL-moments approach produced a better result at high quantile estimation compared to L-moments

A Diffusion-Based Approach to Geminate Recombination of Heme Proteins with Small Ligands

A model of postphotodissociative monomolecular (geminate) recombination of heme proteins with small ligands (NO, O2 or CO) is represented. The non-exponential decay with time for the probability to find a heme in unbound state is interpreted in terms of diffusion-like migration of ligabs physics/0212040 and between protein cavities. The temporal behavior for the probability is obtained from numerical simulation and specified by two parameters: the time \tau_{reb} of heme-ligand rebinding for the ligand localized inside the heme pocket and the time \tau_{esc} of ligand escape from the pocket. The model is applied in the analysis of available experimental data for geminate reoxygenation of human hemoglobin HbA. Our simulation is in good agreement with the measurements. The analysis shows that the variation in pH of the solution (6.0<pH<9.4) results in considerable changes for \tau_{reb} from 0.36 ns (at pH=8.5) up to 0.5 ns (pH=6.0) but effects slightly on the time \tau_{esc} (\tau_{esc} ~ 0.88 ns).Comment: 8 pages with 4 figures, submitted to Chem. Penyuluhan Pembukuan Keuangan Sederhana Dalam Bentuk Buku Kas Di Desa Muara Tae, Kabupaten Kutai Barat, Provinsi Kalimantan Timur

Entrepreneurship is a rapidly growing profession in Muara Tae Village. However, most of the entrepeneur in Muara Tae Village still have not implemented bookkeeping for their business finances. This raises various financial problems in the future. Therefore, to overcome the risk of problems that might occur, we conduct counseling on financial accounting in the form of a simple cash book. The purpose of this activity is to provide an understanding of the importance of financial bookkeeping in the form of a simple cash book so that business people in Muara Tae Village can understand the importance of simple financial bookkeeping and can apply it in running their business. The method used is observation and counseling to residents of Muara Tae Village who have businesses. The activity began with distributing questionnaires through the Muara Tae Village SME’s WhatsApp group, preparing counseling materials, and distributing outreach invitations to SME’s. The result of this activity is an increase in the understanding of SME’s in Muara Tae Village about simple bookkeeping and they can make their own simple bookkeeping according to the business they are doing. Pengaruh tingkat kesulitan keuangan perusahaan terhadap konservatisme akuntansi

Sampel dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Berdasarkan kriteria yang telah ditentukan, maka terdapat 80 sampel  yang menjadi sampel penelitian dengan periode 2013-2016. Kemudian, pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat uji regresi logistik dengan menggunakan SPSS 24.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perusahaan yang sedang mengalami financial distress tidak berpengaruh terhadap penerapan konservatisme akuntansi pada perusahaan pertambangan di BEI. Financial distress diukur dengan menggunakan model Altman, sedangkan konservatisme akuntansi menggunakan model Givoly dan Hayn.  

Analisis Efektivitas PKB dan BBNKB Sebelum dan Saat Diberlakukannya Peraturan Gubernur No.17 Tahun 2017

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan efektivitas penerimaan PKB dan BBNKB sebelum dan saat diberlakukannya Peraturan Gubernur Nomor 17 Tahun 2017 tentang Pemberian Pembebasan Pokok, Sanksi Administrasi Berupa Denda dan Bunga Bea Balik Nama Kendaraan Bermotor Atas Penyerahan Kepemilikan Kedua dan Seterusnya Serta Pemberian Pembebasan Pokok, Sanksi Administrasi Berupa Denda dan Bunga Pajak Kendaraan Bermotor Yang Terdaftar di Provinsi Kalimantan Timur. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan pada Keputusan Menteri Dalam Negeri Nomor 690.900-327 tahun 1996 tentang Kriteria Penilaian dan Kinerja Keuangan Daerah menunjukkan bahwa kinerja keuangan Pemerintah Kalimantan Timur dilihat dari efektivitas penerimaan pajak kendaraan bermotor dan bea balik nama kendaraan bermotor sebelum dan saat diberlakukannya Peraturan Gubernur Nomor 17 Tahun 2017 dapat dikatakan sangat efektif. Adanya perbedaan terhadap efektivitas Penerimaan Pajak Kendaraan Bermotor dan Bea Balik Nama Kendaraan Bermotor sebelum dan saat diberlakukannya Peraturan Gubernur Nomor 17 Tahun 2017 mengakibatkan meningkatnya realisasi penerimaan PKB dan BBNKB di tahun 2017. Dengan kata lain, dengan diberlakukannya Peraturan Gubernur Nomor 17 Tahun 2017 mengakibatkan naiknya efektivitas penerimaan PKB sebesar 3,26% dari 101,05% menjadi 104,31% dan BBNKB sebesar 12,38% dari 100,87% menjadi 113,87% pada tahun 2017 di Pemerintah Provinsi Kalimantan Timur

Karena perusahaan merupakan suatu aktiva maka harus dilakukan pengendalian internal yang baik untuk menjaga persediaan tersebut dari hal-hal buruk yang mungkin terjadi. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sistem pengendalian internal pada UD. Trucks Sales Operation guna mendapatkan gambaran yang jelas mengenai pengendalian internal atas persediaan spare part berdasarkan sistem internal kontrol. Untuk memperoleh data yang diperlukan maka penulis menggunakan metode pengumpulan data berupa observasi, dokumentasi, dan studi kepustakaan. Dalam penelitian ini, alat analisis yang digunakan adalah Data Flow Diagram (DFD), Internal Control Quistionnaires (ICQ). Dari hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa sistem pengendalian atas persediaan spare part pada UD. Trucks Sales Operation Cabang Samarinda dalam aktivitas pengendalian dimana struktur organisasi yang memisahkan tugas dan tanggung jawab dengan jelas sudah tersusun dengan baik di perusahaan, namun pada pelaksanaannya masih terdapat perangkapan tugas. A Review of Scholarly Discourses on Accounting Technical Skills for IR 4.0

With advancements in information technology and large-scale globalization of economies in the previous decade, the working landscape of professional accountants has changed. This study looked into how academia should react to the demand from the industry that graduates in accounting have higher-level technological skills applicable to an IR 4.0 workplace. The study performed a cross-sectional analysis of scholarly discourses in journal editorials and commentary sections. The first finding showed that Big Data and Disruptive Technologies could change the structure of the finance department from pyramidal to either diamond or pillar-shaped. Secondly, accounting graduates need technical skills in information systems, data analytics, and associated software tools. Lastly, it is recommended that Advanced Data Analytics course should be taught to university accounting students so that they are able to interpret other departments’ data science results. This study contributes to the perceived gap in the accounting curriculum as reported in professional and scholarly publications
