The Kamakura period includes the period from 1185 to 1333. The peculiarity of this period is that with the change of power, it had its effect on literature, and the literary theme changed, the focus on heroism and old values, loyalty, bravery and new worldviews changed. This thing served to increase the military power in the society. In general, all events and feelings in human life are the main topic of literature. In 1192, the great leader of the "eastern" (Kanto) samurai detachments - Minamoto Yoritomo, after a long struggle, declares himself sei-taishogun, that is, the "supreme military leader" of Japan, thus the true and hereditary  becomes a ruler. becomes the true and hereditary ruler of the whole country. Nevertheless, the Heian kings retain their supreme authority, but in fact begin to play almost exclusively the role of the "high priests" of their people - the supreme ministers of Shintoism. The Heian monarchy was replaced by a "shogunate" - a military system of government. The new management system also had an impact on literature. Now new genres have started to appear in it. First, the circle of readers has completely changed. Literature based on a new life, new state forms and a new culture, literary works characteristic of samurai culture began to be created. The student began to belong to a different social environment with a unique worldview. The boundaries of this circle have also expanded significantly. They began to attract an unprecedented number of readers in Japan. Literature began to be read not only by new people, but also lost its previous, essentially more exotic character and acquired a "wide" readership. A new author, a new reader, a new environment revived the new literature. And the main reason for this was the da

On the hyperfine interaction in rare-earth Van Vleck paramagnets at high magnetic fields

An influence of high magnetic fields on hyperfine interaction in the rare-earth ions with non-magnetic ground state (Van Vleck ions) is theoretically investigated for the case of Tm3+Tm^{3+} ion in axial symmetrical crystal electric field (ethylsulphate crystal). It is shown that magnetic-field induced distortions of 4f4f-electron shell lead to essential changes in hyperfine magnetic field at the nucleus. The proposed theoretical model is in agreement with recent experimental data.Comment: 4 pages, no figures, submitted to J. Phys. : Cond. Mat

Beyond technical barriers: enhancing onboard safety through human-machine interaction management in ammonia-powered ships

    Get PDF
As the maritime industry advances towards decarbonization, ammonia is emerging as a promising alternative fuel. However, its use introduces significant safety risks to operating personnel arising from tasks inside ship compartments, such as engine or fuel preparation rooms. Given the acute toxicity of ammonia and the effects of space confinement, reducing the personnel risks to conventional levels through technical mitigation alone poses a considerable challenge. The reliance on mitigation of leak consequences, as emphasized in current regulations for ammonia, raises ethical concerns as well. The present work seeks to explore a broader perspective on onboard safety by examining both the direct and indirect factors influencing personnel risk during interactions with hazardous processes. By analyzing the role of human-machine interactions (HMI) in ship operations, the study offers insights into how HMI management can significantly reduce accident probabilities. Our discussion underscores HMI management as a pivotal strategy for mitigating ammonia-related risks, a contrast to the approaches used for conventional, non-toxic marine fuels. This paper proposes a framework for implementing an effective HMI management strategy, highlighting the benefits and complexities involved. One sentence summary: This study highlights the need for risk reduction in toxic spaces, explains why increasing ventilation and/or adding more detectors is not an effective solution, and proposes an alternative strategy

Inverse boundary-value problems of cauchy type for harmonic functions

    Get PDF
We apply two methods for solving the inverse boundary-value problem (the so-called problem (A)) in the Cauchy statement for an analytic function and an unknown curve Γ. We obtain criteria for Γ to be the unit circle. We apply the proposed methods for solving a modified Hadamard example and generalize the obtained results for the case of doubly connected domains. © Allerton Press, Inc., 2012

Explicit forms for the Schwarz integrals in an annulus and their applications

© 2015, Pleiades Publishing, Ltd. The article presents new explicit forms of the Schwarz integral in an annulus. Some correspondence is obtained between the Fourier series for the boundary values of the Schwarz problem and the Laurent series for a regular function f(z) that is the solution of the Schwarz problem. We study in detail the case of a linear-fractional function as a solution to the Schwarz problem in a disk, an annulus, and an arbitrary multiply-connected domain with an application to inverse boundary value problems

The mental state of women with an IVF pregnancy.

An in vitro fertilization (IVF) pregnancy is stressful both financially and emotionally. Patients undergoing an IVF procedure often have already had infertility and reproductive losses. Pregnancy through IVF involves the increased risk of various medical complications. Experts around the world are actively engaged in studying the specifics of the mental state of participants in IVF programs during pregnancy. Of critical importance is the issue of providing psychological support for couples who are preparing for and who have received an IVF pregnancy. The aim of our research was to investigate the mental state of women participating in an IVF program. The study involved 224 pregnant women in the second and third trimesters: 62 women with an IVF pregnancy and 162 women who conceived naturally. The study took place at the Kulakov Scientific Center for Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Perinatology in Moscow, Russia. All the study participants had encountered medical complications during their pregnancy. No significant differences were identified in mental well-being in the two groups; this finding suggests that somatic complications during pregnancy are a general source of anxiety regardless of the reason for their occurrence. The second and third trimesters of pregnancy register increased anxiety levels associated with experiences of reproductive loss and the presence of physical problems. The main resources of a woman’s personality that contribute to her self-confidence and mental stability are her professional employment and flexible behavior

© 2018, Allerton Press, Inc. We describe possibilities of realizing V. K. Ivanov’s method for solving inverse problems of logarithmic potential and that of A. V. Tsirul’skii’s method for solving direct problems of logarithmic potential. We solve two direct problems for logarithmic potential and for simple layer potential in the case of polygonal contour

We obtain new explicit forms of the Schwarz integral in the unit circle. By means of superpositions of logarithms we establish criteria for the appearance of singular boundary points and circles in inverse boundary-value problems. © 2013 Allerton Press, Inc
