Thoorvai novel from the point of view of religious anthropology
The role of the novel in modern Tamil literature is so great that it is possible to convey through the novel a lot of information which neither poetry nor a short story can speak of, because it is possible to write extensively in the form of a novel. Although the novel is valued as a gift of the shoe era, it can be regarded as doing a great job of recording the dynamics of Tamil society. From individual intelligence to society, caste, region, local history, the history of the struggle of the trade unions, the history of the Indian freedom struggle, the life records of the department, urbanization and the economic crises that result from it, etc., have been recorded. In this article, Dharman's novel Thoorvai is examined from the point of view of religious anthropology

Antidiabetic,Antihyperlipidaemic and Antioxidant Activity of Oxalis corniculata in Alloxan Induced Diabetic Mice
The present study has been designed to evaluate the antidiabetic, antihyperlipidemic and antioxidative effect of oxalis cornicuata in alloxan induced diabetic mice. Diabetes was induced in swiss albino mice by administration of alloxan monohydrate (120mg/kg body weight,ip). The aqueous extract of oxalis corniculata at a dose 100mg/kg body weight was administered orally at a single dose per day to diabetes induced mice for a period of ten days. The effect of aqueous extract of oxalis corniculata on various biochemical parameters such as blood glucose, lipid profile, liver marker enzymes, lipid peroxidation, enzymic and non enzymic antioxidants were analysed. All these effects were compared with glibenclamide as a reference antidiabetic drug. Oral administration of aqueous extract of oxalis corniculata for ten days elicited significant reduction in blood glucose level, lipid parameters except HDL-c, serum enzymes and significant increase in the level of HDL-C,enzymic and non enzymic antioxidants. Treatment with aqueous extract of oxalis corniculata also reduced the TBARS levels. From the results, the aqueous extract of oxalis corniculata proves to scavenge free radical and found to posses antidiabetic, antihyperlipidemic and antioxidant property against alloxan induced diabetes mellitus. Key words: Antidiabetic,Antihyperlipidaemic, oxalis corniculata, antioxidants
Maternal And Neonatal Outcomes In Non-Diabetic Large For Gestational Age Vs. Appropriate For Gestational Age Births: A Prospective Comparative Study
Large for Gestational Age (LGA) and Appropriate for Gestational Age (AGA) are terms used to describe the weight of a newborn to their gestational age. LGA is defined as a birth weight greater than the 90th percentile for gestational age (ACOG,2020b).1 The WHO definition of AGA refers to a fetus or newborn whose birthweight falls between the 10th and 90th percentile for their gestational age.2 Diabetes, especially gestational diabetes, is a known risk factor for LGA, but the impact of LGA in non-diabetic pregnancies has been less well-studied. This study aims to explore and compare maternal and neonatal outcomes in non-diabetic pregnancies that result in LGA versus AGA births. The findings could offer insights into how LGA affects maternal health, the course of pregnancy, and the immediate neonatal period in the absence of diabetes
Cho. Dharman's Sool novel from the point of view of social anthropology
As a result of the development of the human mind, there are many forms of literature that have emerged. These reflect the change in the development of language from time to time. The novel is one of these forms of reflection. All the anthropological aspects of people's lives are expressed in the novels. In order to learn about the people, there are more sociological elements of novel literature that record the folk life than the classical literature. On that basis, after Ki.Ra. & Poomani, the life philosophies of the people of karisal region, and the novel 'Sool', which records a great deal in terms of the devendrakula Vellalar race known as Pallar, examines and explains the sociocultural and anthropological aspects recorded in them
Agrobacterium-mediated transformation of the wild orchid Cattleya maxima Lindl
Protocorms are unique anatomical structures; they are akin to rhizoids and are formed by young orchid seedlings under physiological conditions. Explanted orchid tissues produce similar structures called protocorm-like bodies (PLBs) when exposed to appropriate in vitro growing conditions. Both the propagative nature of PLBs and the easiness by which they can be generated, make these structures an attractive alternative to seed-mediated production for growing large numbers of plants. To increase somatic embryogenesis and optimize the procedure, PLBs of Cattleya maxima were transformed using the Agrobacterium tumefaciens method. The T-DNA carried a Hygromycin-resistance gene, a visible marker (GFP5-GUSA) and a rice gene encoding the Somatic Embryogenesis Receptor Kinase, deemed to be important for somatic embryogenesis. Treated PLBs generated somatic embryos developing Hygromycin-resistant plantlets. The insertion of T-DNA was confirmed by PCR, and GFP expression was observed using a fluorescent stereomicroscope. Transformed Cattleya maxima PLBs were more efficient in forming somatic embryos (60-80%) than untransformed controls (45-57%), and this contrast was maximized in hormone-free, Murashige and Skoog (MS) medium (80% of the transformed plants compared to 57% of the untransformed ones). This finding supports the notion that SERK plays an important role in Orchid embryogenesis
Geometric and analytic results for Einstein solitons
We compute a lower bound for the scalar curvature of a gradient Einstein
soliton under a certain assumption on its potential function. We establish an
asymptotic behavior of the potential function on a noncompact gradient
shrinking Einstein soliton. As a result, we obtain the finiteness of its
fundamental group and its weighted volume. We also prove some geometric and
analytic results for constructing gradient Einstein solitons that are realized
as warped metrics, and we give a few explicit examples.Comment: Final version which has been accepted for publication in

Crowding is a phenomenon that has worried managers of tourist destinations for decades. Few studies have been developed to evaluate it in heritage cities from the perception of the visitor, noticing a poor treatment of the subject in Latin America. This research evaluates the tourist crowding perception in the Historic Center of Quito, through methodological contributions that link motivational, emotional and behavioral variables. The results indicate that crowding is perceived mostly between mild and moderate.
