    Currently, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) have a major role in improving people's living standards and strengthening the Indonesian economy. In the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, the competitive ability of UMKM must be improved by mastering the use of social media as a marketing tool. The ability to use social media is important, especially for UMKM assisted by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Tourism and Creative Economy (Disparekraf) so that they can compete in the digital era. The purpose of this Community Service (PKM) activity is to provide knowledge about skills and the use of social media as a marketing tool for UMKM by conducting training and mentoring methods.     Peran Komunikasi dalam Dunia Pendidikan

    Komunikasi memiliki peranan penting bagi kehidupan manusia pada berbagai aspek, termasuk dalam dunia pendidikan. Komunikasi dan pendidikan adalah sebuah proses yang dinamis, tidak statis. Komunikasi mempunyai beberapa fungsi, seperti: (1) fungsi informatif untuk memberi keterangan, informasi, data, atau fakta yang berguna; (2) fungsi edukatif untuk mendidik setiap individu; (3) fungsi persuasif untuk mengarahkan individu berperilaku sesuai keinginan komunikator; dan (4) fungsi hiburan untuk menghibur orang lain. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi literatur ini menemukan bahwa komunikasi pendidikan memiliki fungsi: (1) sosial, (2) ekspresif, (3) ritual, dan (4) instrumental. Kesuksesan komunikasi pendidikan dinilai berdasarkan pada komponen dasar komunikasi terkait dampak, yang terdiri dari: (1) dampak kognitif, (2) dampak afektif, dan (3) dampak behavioral. Dengan komunikasi yang baik, pengetahuan, pemahaman dan bahkan watak seseorang bisa dibentuk. Meski demikian, terdapat beberapa hambatan dalam proses komunikasi pendidikan yang efektif. Faktor kepercayaan yang paling mendasar dari komunikasi alami sering kali luput dari pandangan aktor-aktor akademis dan penelitian-penelitian terdahulu. Kepercayaan dalam hal ini memainkan peranan yang paling mendasar dalam membangun proses komunikasi pendidikan yang efektif

    The COVID-19 pandemic has occurred in the world since 2020, not only in Indonesia but also in all countries in the world. The economic impact of the Covid-19 pandemic has been felt by the Indonesian people since the implementation of the Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) on March 15, 2020. Community activities are forced to be carried out through digital transformation in services, transactions and work, for example the Bandung City Government. This research was conducted to determine the Digital Communication Management of the Bandung City Government in an inclusive and sustainable Economic Recovery in Bandung City. The object of this research is the Bekasi City Government. This study uses the method of Phenomenology of Edmund Husserl. Having the concept of phenomenology as a scientific method that does not start with doubt, direction, and the truth of an experience. Data collection techniques in this study by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study use data reduction, data display, and verification of Miles and Huberman. Based on the Data Findings, Data Results and Discussions that the researchers have submitted, it can be concluded that the Bandung City Government has implemented Digital Communication Management in helping inclusive and sustainable economic recovery by through digital platforms, it is more helpful for small entrepreneurs, especially the current focus on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. One of them is Digital Transformation by continuing to encourage the implementation of smart cities through digital transformation in various aspects of public services

    Peningkatan Kemampuan Public Speaking melalui Pelatihan pada Siswa Saung Alam “Buruan Ajar Indonesia

    Kemampuan berbicara di depan umum (public speaking) merupakan keterampilan penting di era globalisasi, terutama bagi generasi muda dalam membangun kepercayaan diri dan daya saing. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya akses pelatihan komunikasi efektif di kalangan pelajar di daerah terpencil, khususnya di Saung Alam Buruan Ajar Indonesia, Sukabumi. Pelatihan dilaksanakan secara daring pada 23 Februari 2025 dan diikuti oleh 10 peserta berusia 12–22 tahun. Metode pelatihan mencakup pemaparan materi, diskusi interaktif, tugas praktik, dan simulasi menjadi pembawa acara. Materi meliputi teknik dasar komunikasi, pengelolaan rasa gugup, serta penggunaan elemen non-verbal dalam berbicara. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan antusiasme dan keberanian peserta dalam menyampaikan ide secara terbuka. Meskipun terdapat kendala teknis seperti jaringan internet yang tidak stabil, kegiatan tetap berjalan lancar. Pelatihan ini membuktikan bahwa pendekatan berbasis praktik dan interaktif dapat membangun keterampilan public speaking secara signifikan. Kegiatan ini penting sebagai model pengembangan kapasitas komunikasi untuk komunitas pendidikan nonformal dan dapat direplikasi di wilayah lain dengan kebutuhan serupa.  

    Pengaruh Media sosial Instagram dan Sponsorship terhadap Brand Image Extra Joss di Jakarta

    Studi ini menyelidiki pengaruh strategi media sosial dan sponsorship terhadap citra merek Extra Joss. Secara khusus, studi ini membahas kekhawatiran mengenai inkonsistensi dalam pesan merek, keterlibatan konsumen yang rendah di Instagram, dan sponsorship yang mungkin tidak selaras dengan target pasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sejauh mana media sosial dan sponsorship Instagram memengaruhi citra merek Extra Joss di kalangan konsumen di Jakarta. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan, menggunakan metode survei dengan data yang dikumpulkan dari 110 responden melalui kuesioner. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa media sosial dan sponsorship Instagram memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap citra merek. Kehadiran media sosial Instagram menyumbang 55,9% kontribusi, sementara sponsorship menyumbang 47,7%. Lebih lanjut, ketika dipertimbangkan secara bersamaan, kedua variabel ini secara kolektif menjelaskan 58,1% variasi dalam citra merek, dengan 41,9% sisanya dikaitkan dengan variabel lain yang tidak termasuk dalam studi ini. Temuan ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya mengoptimalkan komunikasi digital dan sponsorship strategis untuk menumbuhkan citra merek yang kuat

    MANAGING THE INTERSECTION OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE, DIGITAL TYPING, AND HANDWRITING FOR SUSTAINABLE QUALITY EDUCATION ENHANCEMENT

    Objective: The research objective is to investigate how the rapid advancement of technology, particularly the increasing reliance on digital tools and artificial intelligence (AI) for note-taking and communication, influences handwriting practices. Specifically, to explore the attitudes, emotions, and experiences surrounding handwriting and digital communication in Jakarta.   Theoretical Framework: This research employs Social Change Theory as the theoretical framework to understand how technology influences handwriting practices. Social Change Theory provides a lens through which to examine the societal shifts brought about by technological advancements, considering how these changes impact individuals' behaviors, attitudes, and perceptions regarding handwriting and digital communication.   Method: The study utilizes qualitative research methods, including focus group discussions, observations, and interviews. These methods allow for a comprehensive exploration of participants' attitudes, emotions, and experiences related to handwriting and digital communication.   Results and Discussion: Findings from the study suggest that while AI and digital typing offer efficiency and accessibility, handwriting retains unique cognitive and emotional benefits. Participants express a range of attitudes towards handwriting and digital communication, highlighting both the advantages and drawbacks of each method. Managing the integration of AI, digital typing, and handwriting in education emerges as a potential solution to address concerns about technology dependence while fostering critical thinking and cultural appreciation for sustainability and the enhancement of the quality of education, as SDG’ No. 4.   Research Implications: The findings of this research have several implications for educational practice and policy that should recognize the value of incorporating handwriting alongside AI and digital typing in educational curricula
