A 5D Building Information Model (BIM) for Potential Cost-Benefit Housing: A Case of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA)
The Saudi construction industry is going through a process of acclimatizing to a shifting fiscal environment. Due to recent fluctuations in oil prices, the Saudi construction sector decided to adjust to current trade-market demands and rigorous constitutional regulations because of competitive pressures. This quantitative study assesses and compares existing flat design vs. mid-terrace housing through cost estimation and design criteria that takes family privacy into consideration and meets the needs of Saudi Arabian families (on average consisting of seven members). Five pilot surveys were undertaken to evaluate the property preference type of Saudi families. However, Existing models did not satisfy the medium range family needs and accordingly a 5D (3D + Time + Cost) Building Information Modelling (BIM) is proposed for cost benefiting houses. Research results revealed that mid-terrace housing was the best option, as it reduced land usage and construction costs. While, 5D BIM led to estimate accurate Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and the appraisal of construction cost
Value Stream Mapping and Simulation Modelling for Healthcare Transactional Process Improvement
Lean management philosophy was originated in Japan from the Toyota production system. The main idea is to determine and eliminate waste. The concept of end-to-end value allows organizations to achieve competitive advantage through best quality product and services through minimum operational cost. These days there is more to be achieved by applying lean to services and transactional processes floors. Lean facilitators are facing challenges when trying to transform an organization to be a lean enterprise because it is possible in production systems, but that is not easier in the services and transactional sectors, which means there are challenges that should be considered. Some of the challenges for the service sector are; complex and mixed value streams, information and people are processed instead of parts and human interaction is a major part of the service sector
Consumer Behavior
Aerofood ACS (Aerowisata Catering Service) is a service provider company that has been around for 40 years in Garuda Indonesia flight. ACS Aerofood Company as a service provider, trying to provide the best service to consumers. In a modern era, a lot of people requires practical and high quality comfort. From this cause the number of consumer desires are various kinds. This study will analyze the influence of customer behavior in the running of a company. Consumer behavior could lead us to predict the changing and understanding of people (customers) needs and wants nowadays. This paper analyzes the issues of consumer behavior that exist in the company and aims to advocate alternative solutions related to its division as part of the supply chain. Based on data collected and analyzed for the company, this paper should use descriptive analysis, and qualitative analysis.

The Role of Gamification in Enhancing Cybersecurity Awareness
In the digital era, cybersecurity threats pose a significant risk to individuals, organizations, and nations. As technology continues to evolve and become more integrated into our daily lives, the need for robust cybersecurity measures becomes increasingly crucial. However, the human factor is one of the most significant challenges in maintaining a strong cyber defense. Despite implementing advanced security protocols and technologies, human errors and lack of awareness can undermine even the most sophisticated systems. It is here that the concept of gamification holds immense potential in enhancing cybersecurity awareness and promoting secure practices among users. Gamification refers to incorporating game-like elements, such as points, badges, leaderboards, and challenges, into non-game contexts (Saleem et al., 2021). By tapping into the inherent human desire for achievement, competition, and enjoyment, gamification leverages the motivational power of games to encourage desired behaviors and promote learning. In the field of cybersecurity, gamification presents an innovative approach to educating and engaging users in a manner that is both informative and engaging. Traditional cybersecurity training methods often rely on passive and theoretical approaches, such as lectures or written materials, which many users perceive as dry and uninspiring. In contrast, gamification offers an interactive and immersive learning experience that captures users\u27 attention and fosters active participation
Evaluation Of Teaching Staff Experiences In Using Social Networks: A Descriptive Study
The current research aimed at investigating the challenges of utilizing the social networks in Higher Education from the viewpoints of the university staff members. The questionnaire validity and reliability were assured, and it was administered to (350) university staff members in Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University. The results of the statistical analysis showed that there are five main challenges that hinder utilizing the social networks in the educational process, namely, the Financial and administrative challenges, the teachers’ challenges, the learners’ challenges, the social networks challenges, and the technical challenges. The research concluded with the recommendations
Housing Preferences and Vertical Expansion Potential in Riyadh City
This research investigates the demand for apartment living in Riyadh\u27s northern area and assesses its implications for vertical urban development, aligning with Saudi Arabia\u27s Vision 2030. Employing a quantitative methodology, a structured survey was distributed to a diverse cross-section of Riyadh\u27s population, focusing on housing preferences and perceptions of vertical living. Key findings indicate a significant demand for apartments, primarily from young to middle-aged, smaller households in low to middle-income brackets. Notably, a substantial portion of respondents showed a preference for high-rise living, suggesting a readiness for vertical expansion to manage the city\u27s growing population. The study concludes that Riyadh\u27s emerging housing trends support a shift towards a sustainable, high-density urban model, offering vital insights for urban planning and policy formulation in line with Vision 2030\u27s to increase the city population goal
Agent Based Modelling and Simulation of Pedestrian Crowds in Panic Situations
The increasing occurrence of panic stampedes during mass events has motivated studying the impact of panic on crowd dynamics. Understanding the collective behaviors of panic stampedes is essential to reducing the risk of deadly crowd disasters. In this work, we use an agent-based formulation to model the collective human behavior in such crowd dynamics. We investigate the impact of panic behavior on crowd dynamics, as a specific form of collective behavior, by introducing a contagious panic parameter. The proposed model describes the intensity and spread of panic through the crowd. The corresponding panic parameter impacts each individual to represent a different variety of behaviors that can be associated with panic situations such as escaping danger, clustering, and pushing. Simulation results show contagious panic and pushing behavior, resulting in a more realistic crowd dynamics model

Reconstruction and measurement of (100) MeV energy electromagnetic activity from π0 arrow γγ decays in the MicroBooNE LArTPC
We present results on the reconstruction of electromagnetic (EM) activity from photons produced in charged current νμ interactions with final state π0s. We employ a fully-automated reconstruction chain capable of identifying EM showers of (100) MeV energy, relying on a combination of traditional reconstruction techniques together with novel machine-learning approaches. These studies demonstrate good energy resolution, and good agreement between data and simulation, relying on the reconstructed invariant π0 mass and other photon distributions for validation. The reconstruction techniques developed are applied to a selection of νμ + Ar → μ + π0 + X candidate events to demonstrate the potential for calorimetric separation of photons from electrons and reconstruction of π0 kinematics
