In the works here analyzed –literary as well as filmic discourses- cyborg and androgyne monstrous bodies become frontier beings which question sex, gender and desire patterns. What is human is also questioned, and the invisible turns into visible, thus widening our notion of the natural. In the present study, androgyne and cyborg are examined from a gender perspective: on the one hand, these monsters are taken into account from feminist deconstruction view; on the other hand, we will go back to our works analyzing them from the queer theory perspective. Both feminism and queer theory are, though, related to each other. Throughout our whole study, we will consider terms such as gender/sex, sexual duality, intersex or (hetero)patriarchy. Key terms: androgyny, cyborg, gender, feminism, queer.

The ceramic assemblages of the lower Ebro bassin show in the First Iron Age a clear expansion and diversification of crockery services. These modifications include the presence of carinated outset lip dishes, a type of dish which usually is upon a high foot, a trait that gives it a very characteristic aspect among the instruments of food consumption. The appearance of this type of dishes is related both to the practice of new food habits as with the first differences in consumption styles, a fact which forces us to assess not only their use in domestic consumption practices, but also its possible use in certain exceptional celebrations

Sepulcres i enterraments a la Dertosa tardoantiga.

In recent years, our knowledge about the late Roman burial areas of the city of Dertosa has increased significantly mainly due to the excavations that have been carried out in the Rastre ravine area. In this paper we present the data of funeral type obtained from the excavations of Mercè street between 2009 and 2010. Is remarkable the finding of a VIth century set of stone slab graves covered by ashlars. This type of burial, which must be reserved for individuals of high social rank, was unknown in Tortosa until now

Studying the Impact of Negotiation Environments on Negotiation Teams' Performance

[EN] In this article we study the impact of the negotiation environment on the performance of several intra-team strategies (team dynamics) for agent-based negotiation teams that negotiate with an opponent. An agent-based negotiation team is a group of agents that joins together as a party because they share common interests in the negotiation at hand. It is experimentally shown how negotiation environment conditions like the deadline of both parties, the concession speed of the opponent, similarity among team members, and team size affect performance metrics like the minimum utility of team members, the average utility of team members, and the number of negotiation rounds. Our goal is identifying which intra-team strategies work better in different environmental conditions in order to provide useful knowledge for team members to select appropriate intra-team strategies according to environmental conditions. This work is supported by TIN2011-27652-C03-01, TIN2009-13839-C03-01, CSD2007-00022 of the Spanish Government, and FPU Grant AP2008-00600 awarded to Victor Sanchez-Anguix.
