Meningkatkan Kinerja Java Virtual Machine dengan Mengoptimalkan Peran Garbage Collector
Pada penelitian ini, kinerja Java Virtual Machine (JVM) dalam mengeksekusi aplikasi Java berusaha ditingkatkan dengan cara mengoptimalkan peran Garbage Collector (GC). GC adalah salah satu komponen di dalam JVM yang bertugas untuk mencari obyek-obyek Java yang sudah tidak digunakan lagi oleh program (garbage) tapi masih menempati ruang pada memori. Selanjutnya GC akan membersihkan ruang memori tersebut untuk digunakan oleh obyek Java yang baru. JVM secara otomatis menjalankan GC jika ruang memori yang tersedia tidak cukup lagi untuk menampung obyek baru yang dibuat oleh Java aplikasi. Untuk mengoptimalkan peran GC dalam meningkatkan kinerja JVM, GC tidak hanya difungsikan untuk membersihkan ruang memori dari garbage, tapi juga difungsikan untuk mengubah urutan-urutan obyek yang masih digunakan oleh program di memori, sedapat mungin menyesuaikan dengan cara program mengakses obyek-obyek tersebut. Hal ini dimaksudkan agar prosessor komputer lebih cepat mendapatkan data dari memori sehingga eksekusi program menjadi lebih cepat. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan urutan-urutan obyek yang tepat, kinerja JVM meningkat, ditandai dengan waktu eksekusi aplikasi Java yang menjadi lebih singkat
Novel VPS13B Mutations in Three Large Pakistani Cohen Syndrome Families Suggests a Baloch Variant with Autistic-Like Features.
BackgroundCohen Syndrome (COH1) is a rare autosomal recessive disorder, principally identified by ocular, neural and muscular deficits. We identified three large consanguineous Pakistani families with intellectual disability and in some cases with autistic traits.MethodsClinical assessments were performed in order to allow comparison of clinical features with other VPS13B mutations. Homozygosity mapping followed by whole exome sequencing and Sanger sequencing strategies were used to identify disease-related mutations.ResultsWe identified two novel homozygous deletion mutations in VPS13B, firstly a 1 bp deletion, NM_017890.4:c.6879delT; p.Phe2293Leufs*24, and secondly a deletion of exons 37-40, which co-segregate with affected status. In addition to COH1-related traits, autistic features were reported in a number of family members, contrasting with the "friendly" demeanour often associated with COH1. The c.6879delT mutation is present in two families from different regions of the country, but both from the Baloch sub-ethnic group, and with a shared haplotype, indicating a founder effect among the Baloch population.ConclusionWe suspect that the c.6879delT mutation may be a common cause of COH1 and similar phenotypes among the Baloch population. Additionally, most of the individuals with the c.6879delT mutation in these two families also present with autistic like traits, and suggests that this variant may lead to a distinct autistic-like COH1 subgroup
Analysis of Language in Story Text (Narration): The Use of Verb Types and Its Implication in Language Learning
Penelitian ini menganalisis penggunaan kata kerja dalam teks narasi untuk mengungkap makna metafungsional yang mencakup aspek ideational, interpersonal, dan tekstual. Analisis dilakukan terhadap empat teks narasi, yaitu "Petualangan di Hutan Misterius", "Rahasia di Balik Pintu Tua", "Perjalanan ke Puncak Gunung", dan "Misi Rahasia di Tengah Malam". Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa teks narasi menggunakan berbagai jenis kata kerja, seperti material, mental, behavioral, relasional, verbal, dan eksistensial, yang masing-masing berkontribusi dalam membangun alur cerita, karakterisasi, dan suasana. Kata kerja material mendominasi untuk menggambarkan tindakan fisik, sementara kata kerja mental dan behavioral memperkuat aspek emosional dan pengalaman indrawi tokoh. Hubungan logikosemantik, seperti kausalitas, penjelasan, dan kronologi, juga teridentifikasi sebagai elemen penting dalam teks yang menciptakan kohesi dan koherensi. Penelitian ini memiliki implikasi penting dalam pengajaran bahasa Indonesia, terutama dalam meningkatkan keterampilan siswa dalam menganalisis teks narasi dan memahami struktur kebahasaan yang mendasarinya. PENGEMBANGAN ALAT PENANAMAN BENIH JAGUNG DAN PEMUPUKAN DALAM SATU UNIT
In an effort to achieve optimal agricultural productivity, efficiency in each stage of cultivation is a determining factor. One important stage is seed planting and fertilization, which are traditionally still carried out separately. This study aims to develop a seed planting and fertilization tool that is integrated in one unit, as an effort to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and sustainability of the planting and fertilization process on agricultural land. This tool is designed with an integrated engineering approach, which allows seed planting and fertilizer application to be carried out simultaneously in one operation. The study was conducted with a series of systematic stages, starting from a literature study to identify needs and challenges in conventional agricultural practices. Furthermore, the concept design of the tool was carried out followed by the creation of a physical prototype made of strong and durable materials. Prototype performance testing was carried out on experimental land with various types of soil and environmental conditions to measure time and energy efficiency, accuracy of seed and fertilizer placement, and plant growth results. The results of the study showed that the developed tool was able to significantly increase time and energy efficiency compared to conventional planting and fertilization methods. In addition, this tool provides more uniform results in seed and fertilizer placement, which has a positive impact on plant growth and yields. The implication of this research is the creation of agricultural technology innovations that can support sustainable agricultural practices, reduce dependence on manual labor, and increase farmer productivity. This tool has the potential to be a solution to modern agricultural challenges, especially in efforts to achieve food security and environmental sustainability.Dalam upaya mencapai produktivitas pertanian yang optimal, efisiensi dalam setiap tahapan budidaya menjadi faktor penentu. Salah satu tahapan penting adalah penanaman benih dan pemupukan, yang secara tradisional masih dilakukan secara terpisah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan suatu alat penanaman benih dan pemupukan yang terintegrasi dalam satu unit, sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan efisiensi, efektivitas, dan keberlanjutan proses penanaman serta pemupukan pada lahan pertanian. Alat ini dirancang dengan pendekatan rekayasa terpadu, yang memungkinkan penanaman benih dan pemberian pupuk dilakukan secara simultan dalam satu kali operasi. Penelitian dilakukan dengan serangkaian tahapan yang sistematis, dimulai dari studi literatur untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan dan tantangan dalam praktik pertanian konvensional. Selanjutnya, dilakukan perancangan konsep alat diikuti dengan pembuatan prototipe fisik yang terbuat dari material yang kuat dan tahan lama. Pengujian kinerja prototipe dilakukan di lahan percobaan dengan berbagai jenis tanah dan kondisi lingkungan untuk mengukur efisiensi waktu dan tenaga, akurasi penempatan benih dan pupuk, serta hasil pertumbuhan tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa alat yang dikembangkan mampu meningkatkan efisiensi waktu dan tenaga secara signifikan dibandingkan metode penanaman dan pemupukan konvensional. Selain itu, alat ini memberikan hasil yang lebih seragam dalam penempatan benih dan pupuk, yang berdampak positif pada pertumbuhan dan hasil panen tanaman. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah terciptanya inovasi teknologi pertanian yang dapat mendukung praktik pertanian berkelanjutan, mengurangi ketergantungan pada tenaga kerja manual, dan meningkatkan produktivitas petani. Alat ini berpotensi menjadi solusi bagi tantangan pertanian modern, khususnya dalam upaya mencapai ketahanan pangan dan keberlanjutan lingkungan.
 
Marxism and Class-Based Analysis in the Body of Knowledge: The Scientometric Analysis and Research Agenda
This study provides a comprehensive scientometric analysis to examine the incorporation and impact of Marxist theory and class-based analysis within the broader academic knowledge base. By utilizing Scientometric data from renowned scientific databases covering the last seventy years, we can pinpoint important patterns, notable authors, essential publications, subject groups, and relevant keywords relating to Marxism and class analysis. These findings show increasing interest in the topic, especially after the 2000s. This analysis emphasizes the importance of theoretical study and the working class as topics that often appear in recent research. Additionally, we analyze the distribution of research output and country collaborations, observing substantial clustering in the Americas and the United Kingdom. Despite increasing interest in this topic, our analysis reveals gaps in existing research, namely in the practical implementation and integration of different disciplines. Based on these observations, we suggest a study plan that prioritizes the need for more detailed empirical investigation, examination of social class dynamics in non-Western settings, and the incorporation of Marxist analysis into current topics such as globalization and the working class. This agenda aims to increase the significance and practicality of class-based analysis in understanding contemporary socio-economic phenomena
Identification and characterization of rhizospheric microbial diversity by 16S ribosomal RNA gene sequencing
In the present study, samples of rhizosphere and root nodules were collected from different areas of Pakistan to isolate plant growth promoting rhizobacteria. Identification of bacterial isolates was made by 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis and taxonomical confirmation on EzTaxon Server. The identified bacterial strains were belonged to 5 genera i.e. Ensifer, Bacillus, Pseudomona, Leclercia and Rhizobium. Phylogenetic analysis inferred from 16S rRNA gene sequences showed the evolutionary relationship of bacterial strains with the respective genera. Based on phylogenetic analysis, some candidate novel species were also identified. The bacterial strains were also characterized for morphological, physiological, biochemical tests and glucose dehydrogenase (gdh) gene that involved in the phosphate solublization using cofactor pyrroloquinolone quinone (PQQ). Seven rhizoshperic and 3 root nodulating stains are positive for gdh gene. Furthermore, this study confirms a novel association between microbes and their hosts like field grown crops, leguminous and non-leguminous plants. It was concluded that a diverse group of bacterial population exist in the rhizosphere and root nodules that might be useful in evaluating the mechanisms behind plant microbial interactions and strains QAU-63 and QAU-68 have sequence similarity of 97 and 95% which might be declared as novel after further taxonomic characterization
TINJAUAN HUKUM ISLAM TENTANG PRAKTEK BISNIS MULTI LEVEL MARKETING (MLM) PADA PT. CITRA NUSA INSAN CEMERLANG (CNI) INDONESIA CABANG MAKASSAR
AbstrakBisnis Multi Level Marketing (MLM) merupakan bisnis investasi masa depan yang telah beroperasi di Makassar. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengkaji jenis bisnis tersebut yang dijalankan oleh PT Citra Nusa Insan Cemerlang (CNI) Indonesia Cabang Makassar. Kajian ini ini mencakup praktek marketing bisnis MLM PT Citra Nusa Insan Cemerlang (CNI) Makassar dan analisisnya dalam tinjauan hukum Islam. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan. Data yang dihimpun dan dianalisis adalah data kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan yuridis-normatif. Penelitian ini mendapati bahwa praktik MLM pada PT Citra Nusa Insan Cemerlang (CNI) Cabang Makassar diperbolehkan dalam Islam sebagai bagian dari muamalah. Sistem marketing PT CNI Indonesia cabang Makassar seperti penjualan langsung biasa. PT CNI Indonesia cabang Makassar melakukan penjualan produk kepada konsumen disertai dengan bonus yang diterimanya. Keuntungan yang diperoleh sesuai usaha dan hasil penjualan masing-masing mitra. Sistem yang dianut tidak menguntungkan upline semata, bahkan dalam keadaan tertentu upline yang tidak produktif tidak mendapatkan apa-apa. Berdasarkan temuan ini, hendaknya para praktisi bisnis MLM bekerjasama dengan para ahli ekonomi Islam, akademisi, serta tokoh agama, secara aktif memberikan pemahaman yang komprehensif kepada masyarakat luas tentang bisnis MLM.Kata Kunci: Sistem Marketing, Investasi, Multi Level Marketing, Hukum IslamAbstractMulti Level Marketing (MLM) is a future investment business that has been operating in Makassar. This research was conducted to examine the types of business that are run by PT Citra Nusa Insan Cemerlang (CNI) Indonesia Makassar. This study covers the MLM business marketing practices of PT Citra Nusa Insan Cemerlang (CNI) Makassar and its analysis in Islamic law review. This research is a field research study. The data collected and analyzed is qualitative data using a juridical-normative approach. This study found that the practice of MLM at PT Citra Nusa Insan Cemerlang (CNI) Makassar Branch is allowed in Islam as part of muamalah. The Makassar branch of PT CNI Indonesia marketing system is like regular direct selling. PT CNI Indonesia Makassar sells products to consumers along with the bonus they receive. Profits are obtained according to the business and sales results of each partner. The system adopted does not only benefit the upline, even in certain circumstances the unproductive upline does not get anything. Based on these findings, MLM business practitioners should collaborate with Islamic economists, academics, and religious leaders, to actively provide a comprehensive understanding to the wider community about the MLM business.Keywords: Marketing System, Investment, Multi Level Marketing, Islamic Law
