Predicting postoperative refractive outcomes of intraocular lens fixation with Yamane technique
Introduction: Yamane technique uses intrascleral fixation of an intraocular lens (IOL) without sufficient capsular support. Sutureless technique uses thin walled 30-gauge needles to exteriorize haptics through two angled incisions while remaining parallel to the limbus. Objective: Our study evaluates refractive outcomes using the Barrett II IOL calculation formula for eyes that have undergone the Yamane technique for scleral fixation of IOLs
