New Application of Functional Integrals to Classical Mechanics
In this paper a new functional integral representation for classical dynamics
is introduced. It is achieved by rewriting the Liouville picture in terms of
bosonic creation-annihilation operators and utilizing the standard derivation
of functional integrals for dynamical quantities in the coherent states
representation. This results in a new class of functional integrals which are
exactly solvable and can be found explicitly when the underlying classical
systems are integrable.Comment: 13 page
Renormalization Ambiguities in Chern-Simons Theory
We introduce a new family of gauge invariant regularizations of Chern-Simons
theories which generate one-loop renormalizations of the coupling constant of
the form where can take any arbitrary integer value. In
the particular case we get an explicit example of a gauge invariant
regularization which does not generate radiative corrections to the bare
coupling constant. This ambiguity in the radiative corrections to is
reminiscent of the Coste-L\"uscher results for the parity anomaly in (2+1)
fermionic effective actions.Comment: 10 pages, harvmac, no changes, 1 Postscript figure (now included
Non-Universality Effects and Dark Matter in Gravity Mediated SUSY Breaking
Dark matter detection rates for supergravity models with R parity where
supersymmetry is broken at a scale >~M_G are discussed. Non-universal soft
breaking masses in both the Higgs and squark sectors are considered, and it is
seen that these can effect rates by a factor of 10-100 when m_X <~ 65 GeV
(X=lightest neutralino) but otherwise make relatively small corrections. The
b->s+\gamma branching ratio is seen to correlate with detector event rates,
large (small) branching ratios corresponding to small (large) event rates.
Effects of precision determinations of cosmological parameters or event rate
predictions by future satellite experiments are discussed for the LCDM and the
vCDM models.Comment: LaTeX 7 pages,4 figures, requires espcrc2.sty available from

Amor materno: esencia corpórea en tiempo de covid-19
Social expectations seek a new meaning to the performance of being a mother in time of COVID-19. The maternal essence becomes the corporeal transcendence to understand and understand the cultural demands, in the coexistence of the corporeality of being a doctor in times of uncertainty. This is a key category to start this essay, which has as its purpose a deep reflection from my maternal feelings and the documentary review. Where I seek to share experiences and concerns in this complex and intertwined perspectives in a process of reflection from the complexity of living together as a conglomeration of subjective interrelationships of being the mother of a doctor and a doctor who needs love in times of COVID-19Las expectativas sociales buscan un nuevo sentido a la actuación de ser madre en tiempo de COVID-19.
Non-Universal Soft SUSY Breaking and Dark Matter
An analysis is given of the effects of non-universal soft SUSY breaking
masses in the Higgs sector and in the third generation squark sector, and it is
shown that they are highly coupled. Analytic expressions are obtained for their
effects on the parameters and on the third generation squark masses.
Non-universality effects on dark matter event rates in neutralino-nucleus
scattering are analysed. It is found that the effects are maximal in the range
~GeV where the relic density is governed by the Z and
Higgs poles. In this range the minimum event rates can be increased or
decreased by factors of O(10) depending on the sign of non-universality. Above
this range Landau pole effects arising from the heavy top mass tend to suppress
the non-universality effects. The effect of more precise measurements of
cosmological parameters on event rates, which is expected to occur in the next
round of COBE like sattelite experiments, is also investigated. Implications
for the analysis for dark matter searches are discussed.Comment: 28 pages, latex, and 7 fig
La ablación en la comunidad indígena embera chami-preponderancia de derechos
DerechoThe main objective of the thesis is to consolidate respect for ethnic minorities in Colombia, so the effectiveness of legal protection is analyzed them versus ablation Embera Chami community. Epistemologically, the research addresses historical, psychological, sociological and legal elements of the subject matter, ie, the phenomenon develops circumstances. Embera Chami tribe, who inhabited Pueblo Rico Risaralda, Gito Dokabu Indian reservation, through testimony and reconnaissance, to analyze this problem is analyzed. Therefore, this research is descriptive, with a socio-legal, court analytical and deductive method, you need a qualitative approach, and primary and secondary sources will interview the Municipal Representative of Pueblo Rico Maria Piedrahita Bermudez laws, case law and national and international standardsEl objetivo fundamental de la siguiente tesis es consolidar el respeto hacia las minorías étnicas en Colombia, por lo cual se analiza la efectividad de la protección jurídica a los mismos, frente a la ablación en la comunidad Embera Chami. ACINO: Second year report on dissemination and communication activities
This ACINO deliverable presents the communication and dissemination activities performed by the consortium during the first two years of the project. We have communicated using our website, Twitter account and by various communication actions:
The website saw over 3000 unique visitors during the first year and over 4000 during the second year;
The consortium Twitter account had 49 followers at the end of the first year and 80 at the end of the second year. We posted 50 tweets during the first year and 40 more during the second year;
We also held a press release and an interview in a magazine during the first year, and had three more similar communication actions during the second year.
The dissemination activities have been composed of participation in public events where the goals and
concepts of ACINO were presented via publications, presentation, workshops, courses and demonstrations.
Overall, over forty different dissemination activities have been performed:
An article has been published in peer-reviewed, open access Journal of Green Engineering;
Eighteen articles have been published in conferences: four during the first year and fourteen during the second. One of them was a post-deadline and six were invited papers;
We have co-organised three workshops: the Workshop on Network Function Virtualization and Programmable Networks at EUCNC 2015, the first Workshop on Multi-Layer Network Orchestration (NetOrch) at ICTON 2016 and the stand-alone ONOS/CORD workshop;
We have held 16 talks, tutorial, courses and demonstrations;
Consortium members have won two prizes for work related to ACINO: a team of developers won the 3rd prize of the ONOS Build Hackathon, and Telefónica won the Best SDN-NFV solution award at the LTE and 5G World conference by presenting a solution in which Sedona Systems was involved;
We have contributed to six IETF standardisation documents and done some implementation and test of these standards.
We have contributed to two open source projects: the NetPhony and ONOS controllers, with the implementation of main features being accepted and merged to the core code of these open source projects.
Finally, the project has devised detailed plans for its dissemination activities for the last year of the project.
We have:
Confirmed plans for the organisation of a workshop, the second edition of the NetOrch workshop, co-located with the ICTON conference;
A solid plan for continued dissemination in conferences (already five accepted conference papers, five talk invitations and a list of conferences of interest) and in peer-reviewed journals, with one article accepted for publication in the Journal of Lightwave Technology, two articles under review and plans for four more;
Some more planned contribution to open source projects
Minimal See-Saw Model for Atmospheric and Solar Neutrino Oscillations
We present a minimal see-saw model based on an extension of the standard
model (SM) which includes an additional U(1), with gauge charge . Requirement of anomaly cancellation implies the
existence of two right-handed singlet neutrinos, carrying this gauge charge,
which have normal Dirac couplings to and but suppressed
ones to . Assuming the U(1) symmetry breaking scale to be
10~GeV, this model can naturally account for the large (small) mixing
solutions to the atmospheric (solar) neutrino oscillations.Comment: 14 pages, latex, no figure
