Senti-Lexicon and Analysis for Restaurant Reviews of Myanmar Text
Social media has just become as an influential with the rapidly growing popularity of online customers reviews available in social sites by using informal languages and emoticons. These reviews are very helpful for new customers and for decision making process. Sentiment analysis is to state the feelings, opinions about people\u27s reviews together with sentiment. Most of researchers applied sentiment analysis for English Language. There is no research efforts have sought to provide sentiment analysis of Myanmar text. To tackle this problem, we propose the resource of Myanmar Language for mining food and restaurants\u27 reviews. This paper aims to build language resource to overcome the language specific problem and opinion word extraction for Myanmar text reviews of consumers. We address dictionary based approach of lexicon-based sentiment analysis for analysis of opinion word extraction in food and restaurants domain. Planet Four: Terrains - Discovery of Araneiforms Outside of the South Polar Layered Deposits
We present the results of a systematic mapping of seasonally sculpted
terrains on the South Polar region of Mars with the Planet Four: Terrains (P4T)
online citizen science project. P4T enlists members of the general public to
visually identify features in the publicly released Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter
CTX images. In particular, P4T volunteers are asked to identify: 1) araneiforms
(including features with a central pit and radiating channels known as
'spiders'); 2) erosional depressions, troughs, mesas, ridges, and
quasi-circular pits characteristic of the South Polar Residual Cap (SPRC) which
we collectively refer to as 'Swiss cheese terrain', and 3) craters. In this
work we present the distributions of our high confidence classic spider
araneiforms and Swiss cheese terrain identifications. We find no locations
within our high confidence spider sample that also have confident Swiss cheese
terrain identifications. Previously spiders were reported as being confined to
the South Polar Layered Deposits (SPLD). Our work has provided the first
identification of spiders at locations outside of the SPLD, confirmed with high
resolution HiRISE imaging. We find araneiforms on the Amazonian and Hesperian
polar units and the Early Noachian highland units, with 75% of the identified
araneiform locations in our high confidence sample residing on the SPLD. With
our current coverage, we cannot confirm whether these are the only geologic
units conducive to araneiform formation on the Martian South Polar region. Our
results are consistent with the current CO2 jet formation scenario with the
process exploiting weaknesses in the surface below the seasonal CO2 ice sheet
to carve araneiform channels into the regolith over many seasons. These new
regions serve as additional probes of the conditions required for channel

Longitudinal evaluation of cognitive functioning in young children with type 1 diabetes over 18 months
OBJECTIVE: Decrements in cognitive function may already be evident in young children with type 1 diabetes (T1D). Here we report prospectively acquired cognitive results over 18 months in a large cohort of young children with and without T1D. METHODS: 144 children with T1D (mean HbA1c: 7.9%) and 70 age-matched healthy controls (mean age both groups 8.5 years; median diabetes duration 3.9 yrs; mean age of onset 4.1 yrs) underwent neuropsychological testing at baseline and after 18-months of follow-up. We hypothesized that group differences observed at baseline would be more pronounced after 18 months, particularly in those T1D patients with greatest exposure to glycemic extremes. RESULTS: Cognitive domain scores did not differ between groups at the 18 month testing session and did not change differently between groups over the follow-up period. However, within the T1D group, a history of diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) was correlated with lower Verbal IQ and greater hyperglycemia exposure (HbA1c area under the curve) was inversely correlated to executive functions test performance. In addition, those with a history of both types of exposure performed most poorly on measures of executive function. CONCLUSIONS: The subtle cognitive differences between T1D children and nondiabetic controls observed at baseline were not observed 18 months later. Within the T1D group, as at baseline, relationships between cognition (VIQ and executive functions) and glycemic variables (chronic hyperglycemia and DKA history) were evident. Transient Expression of Tetrameric Recombinant Human Butyrylcholinesterase in Nicotiana benthamiana.
To optimize the expression, extraction and purification of plant-derived tetrameric recombinant human butyrylcholinesterase (prBChE), we describe the development and use of plant viral amplicon-based gene expression system; Tobacco Mosaic Virus (TMV) RNA-based overexpression vector (TRBO) to express enzymatically active FLAG-tagged plant made recombinant butyrylcholinesterase (rBChE) in Nicotiana benthamiana leaves using transient agroinfiltration. Two gene expression cassettes were designed to express the recombinant protein in either the ER or to the apoplastic compartment. Leaf homogenization was used to isolate ER-retained recombinant butyrylcholinesterase (prBChE-ER) while apoplast-targeted rBChE was isolated by either leaf homogenization (prBChE) or vacuum-extraction of apoplastic wash fluid (prBChE-AWF). rBChE from apoplast wash fluid had a higher specific activity but lower enzyme yield than leaf homogenate. To optimize the isolation and purification of total recombinant protein from leaf homogenates, an acidic extraction buffer was used. The acidic extraction buffer yielded >95% enzymatically active tetrameric rBChE as verified by Coomassie stained and native gel electrophoresis. Furthermore, when compared to human butyrylcholinesterase, the prBChE was found to be similar in terms of tetramerization and enzyme kinetics. The N-linked glycan profile of purified prBChE-ER was found to be mostly high mannose structures while the N-linked glycans on prBChE-AWF were primarily complex. The glycan profile of the prBChE leaf homogenates showed a mixture of high mannose, complex and paucimannose type N-glycans. These findings demonstrate the ability of plants to produce rBChE that is enzymatically active and whose oligomeric state is comparable to mammalian butyrylcholinesterase. The process of plant made rBChE tetramerization and strategies for improving its pharmacokinetics properties are also discussed

We isolated 12 urinary strains of Streptococcus, Staphylococcus, Citrobacter, Gardnerella, and Lactobacillus. These strains and their genomes are now available to the research community
Effect of soy on bone turn-over markers in men with type 2 diabetes and hypogonadism – a randomised controlled study
Type 2 diabetes (T2DM) is associated with increased risk of fractures. Soy supplementation has been shown to have a beneficial effect on bone turnover markers (BTM) in postmenopausal women. However, the effect of soy supplementation on BTM in T2DM and particularly in men is unclear. We performed an analysis of a randomized double blind parallel study of 200 men with T2DM treated with soy, either with or without isoflavones. Outcome measures were type I collagen crosslinked beta C-telopeptide (βCTX), and type 1 procollagen-N-propeptide (P1NP). The men, with a total testosterone <12 nmol/L, were treated with 15 g soy protein containing 66 mg of isoflavones (SPI) or 15 g soy protein alone without isoflavones (SP) daily for three months. There was a 15% reduction in βCTX after three months of SPI compared to SP supplementation. There was no significant difference in P1NP with either SPI or SP supplementation. There was a significant linear correlation between the reduction in βCTX in the SPI group with the reduction in HbA1c (r2 = 0.42; p = 0.04) and HOMA-IR (r2 = 0.54; p = 0.02). Our study indicates that there was a significant reduction in bone resorption following 3 months of SPI supplementation that correlated with an improvement of glycemic control in men with T2DM
Very high energy gamma rays from the direction of Sagittarius A*.
We report the detection of a point-like source of very high energy (VHE) -rays coincident within 1' of Sgr A *, obtained with the HESS array of Cherenkov telescopes. The -rays exhibit a power-law energy spectrum with a spectral index of and a flux above the 165 GeV threshold of m -2 s -1. The measured flux and spectrum differ substantially from recent results reported in particular by the CANGAROO collaboration
Cell Biological Analyses of the Role of the VRK1 Protein Kinase in Mammary Epithelial Cells
Vaccinia-related kinase 1 (VRK1) is a pro-proliferative nuclear serine/threonine kinase. Mice engrafted with VRK1-depleted MDA-MB-231 cells develop fewer distal metastases than mice engrafted with control cells, suggesting a potential role for VRK1 in cell migration, invasion, and/or colonization. In work described herein, we investigated the impact of VRK1 overexpression on human mammary epithelial cells. We demonstrated that VRK1 overexpression in MCF10A cells (normal mammary epithelial cells) diminishes cell invasion and impairs both single-cell and sheet migration, as well as the migration-associated processes of cell spreading and cytoskeletal rearrangement. Interestingly, VRK1-overexpressing cells show reduced accumulation of the mesenchymal marker vimentin and increased accumulation of the epithelial cell-cell adhesion markers E-cadherin, and claudin-1. 3XF-VRK1 overexpression is also associated with reduced levels of the transcriptional repressors snail, slug, and twist, which regulate E-cadherin and claudin-1 expression. Because these data indicate that VRK1 overexpression augments the epithelial properties of MCF10A cells, we further studied the impact of VRK1 in more relevant 3D matrigel cultures. VRK1 overexpression clearly accelerates the initial stages of cell proliferation, leading to the formation of larger acini with somewhat misshapen morphology. However, the subsequent proliferative arrest that accompanies acinus maturation remains unperturbed. Our findings suggest that VRK1, by regulating the transcription repressors snail, slug, and twist1, can promote the mesenchymal-to-epithelial transition (MET) associated with cancer cell colonization. We also determined that the MET phenotype induced by VRK1 overexpression is reversible by TGFβ treatment. Immunohistochemical analysis of human tumor tissue microarrays (TMAs) revealed that VRK1 protein levels are higher in lymph node metastases than in patient-matched primary mammary tumors. Using public databases, we determined that VRK1 is among the top 10% of overexpressed transcripts in multiple subtypes of invasive breast cancer, and that high levels of VRK1 expression are correlated with a reduced rate of relapse-free survival. Taken together, we demonstrate that VRK1 can induce a partial MET that may account for the association of VRK1 overexpression with breast cancer progression and reduced patient survival
