Playing games with EPR-type experiments
An approach towards quantum games is proposed that uses the unusual
probabilities involved in EPR-type experiments directly in two-player games.Comment: Submitted to the J. Phys. A: Maths & Gen., revised in the light of

Evolutionary stability in quantum games
In evolutionary game theory an Evolutionarily Stable Strategy (ESS) is a
refinement of the Nash equilibrium concept that is sometimes also recognized as
evolutionary stability. It is a game-theoretic model, well known to
mathematical biologists, that was found quite useful in the understanding of
evolutionary dynamics of a population. This chapter presents an analysis of
evolutionary stability in the emerging field of quantum games.Comment: 38 pages, 2 figures, contributed chapter to the book "Quantum Aspects

The equivalence of Bell's inequality and the Nash inequality in a quantum game-theoretic setting
The interaction of competing agents is described by classical game theory. It
is now well known that this can be extended to the quantum domain, where agents
obey the rules of quantum mechanics. This is of emerging interest for exploring
quantum foundations, quantum protocols, quantum auctions, quantum cryptography,
and the dynamics of quantum cryptocurrency, for example. In this paper, we
investigate two-player games in which a strategy pair can exist as a Nash
equilibrium when the games obey the rules of quantum mechanics. Using a
generalized Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen (EPR) setting for two-player quantum games,
and considering a particular strategy pair, we identify sets of games for which
the pair can exist as a Nash equilibrium only when Bell's inequality is
violated. We thus determine specific games for which the Nash inequality
becomes equivalent to Bell's inequality for the considered strategy pair.Comment: 18 pages, revise
Social optimality in quantum Bayesian games
A significant aspect of the study of quantum strategies is the exploration of
the game-theoretic solution concept of the Nash equilibrium in relation to the
quantization of a game. Pareto optimality is a refinement on the set of Nash
equilibria. A refinement on the set of Pareto optimal outcomes is known as
social optimality in which the sum of players' payoffs are maximized. This
paper analyzes social optimality in a Bayesian game that uses the setting of
generalized Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen experiments for its physical
implementation. We show that for the quantum Bayesian game a direct connection
appears between the violation of Bell's inequality and the social optimal
outcome of the game and that it attains a superior socially optimal outcome.Comment: 12 pages, revise
Analyzing three-player quantum games in an EPR type setup
We use the formalism of Clifford Geometric Algebra (GA) to develop an
analysis of quantum versions of three-player non-cooperative games. The quantum
games we explore are played in an Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen (EPR) type setting.
In this setting, the players' strategy sets remain identical to the ones in the
mixed-strategy version of the classical game that is obtained as a proper
subset of the corresponding quantum game. Using GA we investigate the outcome
of a realization of the game by players sharing GHZ state, W state, and a
mixture of GHZ and W states. As a specific example, we study the game of
three-player Prisoners' Dilemma.Comment: 21 pages, 3 figure
PENGKAJIAN BAHASA MADURA DAHULU, KINI DAN DI MASA YANG AKAN DATANG
Although bahasa Madura plays important roles in developing bahasa Indonesia, the efforts to conserve it
have not been numerously done. One of the indicators of these ―half-hearted‖ efforts are: (1) the small
number of publicized studies of bahasa Madura found in national and university libraries, and (2) the small
amount of bahasa Madura scientific publication titles found in national and university libraries. The result
of this literature study discovers five interesting facts related to bahasa Madura scientific publications
found in four national e-libraries. The facts are: (1) most of the scientific publications focus on the internal
aspects of bahasa Madura such as bahasa Madura morphology, phonology, grammar and syntax. Studies on
the external aspects of the language such as pragmatics, discourse analysis, and so forth are barely to be
found. (2) ―deep‖ scientific publications on bahasa Madura are mostly written by foreigner linguists
(nonMadurese and non Indonesian), (3) most of bahasa Madura scientific studies conducted by Indonesian
people are done because they are funded by government, (4) the developments of bahasa Madura studies
do not have patterns. It results the difficulties to map them into phases, (5) the studies are not influenced by
many trends and issues in linguistics
MONETARY EXCHANGE RATE MODEL REVISITED: COINTEGRATION AND FORECASTING IN HETEROGENEOUS PANEL DATA
ABSTRACT This study re-examines the exchange rate-monetary fundamentals link with in a panel data framework. Pure time series and pooled time series-based tests fail to find empirical support for monetary exchange rate models (Sarantis (1994) and Groen (2000)). Using recently developed Panel Data Techniques; we would test the exchange rates and monetary fundamentals in a quarterly panel of 19 countries mostly from developed region extending from 1973.1 to 1997.1. Present analysis would be centered on three issues. First, we test whether exchange rates cointegrated with long run determinants predicted by economic theory. For this purpose, we would be employed Pedroni (1997) and Larsson et al (2001) panel cointegration tests for empirical validation of the study. Second, we will also test the short run implications of exchange rate model. These short run implications will be tested; through adapting the panel VEC model the short run identification schemes of Johansen and Juselius (1994). The last issue is to examine the ability for monetary fundamentals to forecast future exchange rate returns. The present endeavor will follow Mark and Sul (2001) approach for forecasting in the case of Panel Data Testing.Panel cointegration; Prediction; Exchange rates.
