The Ultrastructure of the Corpus Luteum of the Goat

The ultra structure of luteal cells and the proportion of the different cell types in the functional corpus luteum of the goat were studied using the electron microscope. Two luteal cell types, large and small, were present in the corpus luteum of this species. The large more rounded luteal cell possessed numerous mitochondria and electron dense membrane- bound granules, extensive agranular endoplasmic reticulum and granular endoplasmic reticulum which at times appeared as stacks of closely packed cisternae. Few lipid droplets were present iri the luteal cell cytoplasma while whorled agranular endoplasmic reticulum was absent. Interspersed amongst the large luteal cells were smaller luteal cells with tapering cytoplasmic processes. These cells differed from the large luteal cells in that they possessed fewer mitochondria and electron dense membrane- bound granules. Occasional nuclei of the small luteal cells contained cytoplasmic inclusion bodies

Security Safeguards on E-Payment Systems in Malaysia: Analysis on the Payment Systems Act 2003

Central to the infrastructure of electronic commerce activities is the electronic payment system. This encompasses not only the issues of technical sophistication but also legal readiness. In the context of electronic commerce environment in Malaysia, this paper seeks to highlight and examine the Malaysian legal readiness in the aspect of electronic payment system, focusing on its Payment Systems Act 2003. The discussion is limited to the issue of electronic security measures embodied in the law. Within its restricted scope, this paper seeks to demonstrate how the law recognizes the importance of security measures in order to build confidence and trust among the public and mainly the users of electronic payments in the country.

Properties of Polyurethane Foam/Coconut Coir Fiber as a Core Material and as a Sandwich Composites Component

This research focuses on the fabrication and characterization of the sandwich composites panel using glass fiber composite skin and polyurethane foam reinforced coconut coir fiber core. The main objectives are to characterize the physical and mechanical properties and to elucidate the effect of coconut coir fibers in polyurethane foam cores and sandwich composites panel. Coconut coir fibers were used as reinforcement in polyurethane foams in which later were applied as the core in sandwich composites ranged from 5 wt% to 20 wt%. The physical and mechanical properties found to be significant at 5 wt% coconut coir fiber in polyurethane foam cores as well as in sandwich composites. It was found that composites properties serve better in sandwich composites construction

ANALISIS DAMPAK PEMBANGUNAN TERAS CIHAMPELAS TERHADAP BISNIS SEKTOR FORMAL DAN PEDESTRIAN

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini berjudul “ANALISIS DAMPAK PEMBANGUNAN TERAS CIHAMPELAS TERHADAP BISNIS SEKTOR FORMAL DAN PEDESTRIAN”. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dampak kebijakan pembangunan infrastruktur public berupa Teras Cihampelas terhadap pedagang formal dan kemacetan lalulintas di kawasan perdagangan jalan Cihampelas dari sisi pedagang dan masyarakat yang dilihat dari sisi persepsi para pedagang dan persepsi masyarakat mengenai kepuasan kondisi kawasan yang baru. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu analisis deskriptif yang didukung oleh analisis kuantitatif. Metode deskriptif digunakan dengan tujuan untuk memberikan penjelasan dalam menjawab rumusan masalah yaitu bagaimana dampak kebijakan relokasi pedagang kaki lima yang dirasakan oleh para pedagang formal kawasan Cihampelas dan Masyarakat sekitar, apakah kebijakan yang diambil oleh pemerintah daerah memberikan dampak positif dan sudah berjalan sesuai dengan ketentuan atau belum serta bagaimana persepsi masyarakat beraktivitas melalui jalan Cihampelas mengenai kenyamanan dan kemacetan kawasan. Metode analisis kuantitatif menggunakan uji beda bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kondisi para pedagang formal sebelum dan sesudah pembangunan Teras Cihampelas. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya pembangunan Teras Cimapelas memberikan beberapa dampak terhadap kondisi kawasan perdagangan jalan Cihampelas. Pedagang dan masyarakat pun merasa cukup puas dengan kondisi kawasan perdagangan Cihampelas saat ini. Namun hal ini belum diikuti oleh perubahan dampak yang di hasilkan terhadap kemacetan lalulintas. Proteksi Panas Lebih pada Generator Berbasiskan Smart Relay

One of abnormal conditions that may happen when operating synchronous generator is overheating at armature winding. Therefore, this condition is needed to overcome to avoid further damage in the generator by designing and implementing smart relay based overheating protection. Temperature at armature winding is as an input of the smart relay where it was measured by using LM35DZ sensor. Magnetic contactor was used as switch, where it will open when the temperature higher then setting value. The overheat protection design was implemented successfully where it can trip (disconnect generator from the system by opening magnetic contactor) when the armature winding temperature is higher than 60° C

ANALISIS KUALITAS PELAYANAN DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN IMPORTANCE PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS TERHADAP KEPUASAN PESERTA DIDIK (Suatu Survei di SMK TRI ASYIFA CIKAMPEK)

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kualitas pelayanan dengan menggunakan importance performance analysis terhadap kepuasan peserta didik (suatu survei di SMK Tri Ayifa Cikampek). Unit observasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik di SMK Tri Ayifa Cikampek. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik nonprobability sampling yaitu sampel jenuh dengan sampel sebanyak 168 orang responden. Metode penelitiannya mengunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif. Sedangkan tipe penelitiannya berupa descriptive research dan verificative research. Pengujian hipotesis penelitian menggunakan metode statistika analisis jalur dengan menggunakan program SPSS 22.0 For Window. Hasil pengujian penelitian ditemukan analisis optimum layanan tertinggi yaitu pada dimensi jaminan. Selain itu, dari hasil analisis mengindikasi bahwa kualitas pelayanan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan peserta didik sebesar 26,2%. Sisanya sebesar 73,8% dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain yang tidak dapat dijelaskan dalam penelitian. Sedangkan koefisien jalur bukti fisik (X1) terhadap kepuasan peserta didik (Y) sebesar 0,185; keandalan (X2) terhadap kepuasan peserta didik (Y) sebesar -0,228; daya tanggap (X3) terhadap kepuasan peserta didik (Y) sebesar -0,293; jaminan (X4) terhadap kepuasan peserta didik (Y) sebesar 0.273; dan empati (X5) terhadap kepuasan peserta didik (Y) sebesar 0.373. The Radiographic Anatomy of the Gastrointestinal Tract of the Lesser Mousedeer (Tragulus javanicus)

The radiographic anatomy of the Lesser Mousedeer (Tragulus javanicus) is described. The mousedeer has an extremely large stomach complex which fills the left and the ventral right of the abdomen. No omasum or caudodorsal blind sac were found. The reticulum usually lay cranioventrally on the left side abutting the diaphragm. The abomasal fundus lay caudal and ventral to the reticulum. The rate of passage of radiopaque substances along the alimentary tract is given. Faeces was first noted to form in the spiral colon. Small particles and fluid passed rapidly through the alimentary tract Ix =44.5 hr). Particles with densities approaching that of straw remained in the rumen whilst heavy metals were retained in the reticulum

Topographic Anatomy of the Abdomen of the Lesser Mousedeer (Tragulus javanicus)

A description is given of the gross anatomy supplemented by radiographic studies of the abdominal structures of (T. javanicus). The large sacculated stomach complex is the dominant feature of the abdomen, it occupies most of the left side and extends across to fill the ventral right side. The intestine is primarily relegated to the dorsal caudal quadrant immediately cranial to the cranial pelvic aperture. The multilobed liver lies entirely on the right. The kidneys are not lobed, with the cranial pole of the right kidney abutting the caudate lobe of the liver and the left kidney lying adjacent but immediately caudal to its fellow. The small triangular spleen lies on the dorsal cranial aspect of the dorsal sac of the rumen
