Encryption and Decryption of Images with Pixel Data Modification Using Hand Gesture Passcodes
To ensure data security and safeguard sensitive information in society, image encryption and decryption as well as pixel data modifications, are essential. To avoid misuse and preserve trust in our digital environment, it is crucial to use these technologies responsibly and ethically. So, to overcome some of the issues, the authors designed a way to modify pixel data that would hold the hidden information. The objective of this work is to change the pixel values in a way that can be used to store information about black and white image pixel data. Prior to encryption and decryption, by using Python we were able to construct a passcode with hand gestures in the air, then encrypt it without any data loss. It concentrates on keeping track of simply two pixel values. Thus, pixel values are slightly changed to ensure the masked image is not misleading. Considering that the RGB values are at their border values of 254, 255 the test cases of masking overcome issues with the corner values susceptibility
Comparison between nalbuphine propofol and dexmedetomidine propofol for laryngeal mask airway insertion
Aims and Objectives: The aim of the present study was to compare the laryngeal mask airway (LMA) insertion conditions using either nalbuphine - propofol or dexmedetomidine - propofol. Materials and Methods: Sixty female patients aged 25–35 years posted for interval tubal ligation were randomly allocated in two groups of 30 each. Group N received intravenous injection nalbuphine 0.2 mg/kg over 5 min, and Group D received injection dexmedetomidine 1 μg/kg over 5 min. Later, all the patients were induced with injection propofol 2 mg/kg and 90 s after induction, classic LMA of number 3 was inserted in all the patients. LMA insertion conditions were assessed using various parameters. Heart rate, mean arterial pressure, respiratory rate, and SpO2were recorded before induction and at 1, 3, 5, and 10 min after LMA insertion. Incidence and duration of apnea were also recorded. Observations and Results: Demographic data were comparable in both the groups. LMA insertion conditions were comparable in both the groups (P = 0.15), and both the groups had excellent LMA insertion conditions. The apnea duration was slightly more in dexmedetomidine group (140 s) as against nalbuphine group (120 s). The reduction in heart rate was more in Group D and the difference was statistically significant at 1 and 3 min after induction (P < 0.001). Conclusion: Nalbuphine combined with propofol provides similar conditions of LMA insertion as that of dexmedetomidine - propofol combination with advantage of better maintenance of hemodynamic stability
Comparison of best medical management with carotid intervention procedures in the prevention of stroke recurrence in patients with symptomatic internal carotid artery stenosis
Background: As per the current recommendations, carotid interventional procedures (carotid endarterectomy/carotid artery stenting) are considered superior to medical management in reducing the stroke recurrence in patients with symptomatic extracranial internal carotid artery (ICA) stenosis. Objective: The objective of this study is to compare the best medical management with carotid interventional procedures in the prevention of stroke recurrence in the patients with symptomatic extracranial ICA stenosis. Materials and Methods: This was a parallel, prospective, two-arm, open-label, observational study. Participants were selected consecutively and prospectively among patients from Outpatient and Inpatient Departments of Neurology at Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. The study period was from January 2012 to December 2017. Results: Of 150 patients with symptomatic extracranial ICA stenosis of ≥50%, 100 preferred best medical management (m = 75, f = 25) and 50 (m = 37, f = 13) opted for carotid intervention. The mean age of the patient cohort was 59.8 ± 12.7. Follow-up was done at regular intervals from 3 months to 1 year. In the medical group, the recurrence occurred in 10 patients; 4 (40%) within 6 months, 5 (50%) within 6–12 months, and 1 (10%) after 1 year. In the intervention group, the recurrence occurred in 6 patients; 5 (83%) within the first 6 months and 1 (17%) within 6–12 months. Conclusions: Overall, there was no statistically significant difference in the rate of recurrence between the best medical management and the carotid interventional procedures
Design and Implementation of a Corporate Fed Two Element Antennae Array using Miters
In wireless communication systems, designing of antennae with required parameters is an challenging issue. So, The approach in this paper is to design a corporate fed 2 element antenna array is designed to operate at 2.4 GHz using an FR-4 substrate of height h=1.6mm. For wireless application all the antenna parameters are analysed for two element array antenna with element spacing λ, λ/2 and with miters. It is observed that bandwidth decreases by decreasing the element spacing. But by using miters for antenna with element spacing bandwidth and reflection coefficient are improved. All the antennae are fabricated and tested using VNA E5071C.</jats:p
Mist Removal Using Fast Algorithm Based on Linear Operator
In hazy or foggy weather conditions image quality gets degraded which affects the performance of outdoor computer vision system. In this project a fast algorithm is proposed based on linear transformation by assuming that a linear relationship exists in the minimum channel between the hazy image and the haze-free image for dehazing single image. Firstly, the principle of linear transformation is analyzed and then the method of estimating a medium transmission map is elaborated & the weakening strategies are introduced to solve the problem of brightest areas of distortion. To accurately estimate the atmospheric light, an additional channel method is proposed based on quad-tree subdivision. In this method, average grays and gradients in the region are employed as assessment criteria. Finally, the haze-free image is obtained using the atmospheric scattering model.</jats:p
Accident Detection and Elegant Rescue System using Android-Real Time Location Tracking
The measure of accidents happening in India are developing a tiny bit at a time. Crisis reaction time is inconceivably major, when it fuses occasions, for example, vehicle episodes. Most of the human lives are being lost thinking about road troubles. Quantifiable Analysis shows that in the event that we rot only 1-minute in mishap reaction time that can develop odds of sparing a person's life up to 6percent. Among all the occurrence cases, some can be constrained by taking certain preventive measures and some can be spared by giving a concise data to the misfortune's family. This work region work helps the misfortunes by giving some concise ramifications to their particular relatives furthermore perceives the guideline driver of the mishap. That is, either the disaster is intoxicated or fire setback has occurred, and so on. In like manner the proposed framework gives the constant zone following.</jats:p
