Sympathetic cooling route to Bose-Einstein condensate and Fermi-liquid mixtures
We discuss a sympathetic cooling strategy that can successfully mitigate
fermion-hole heating in a dilute atomic Fermi-Bose mixture and access the
temperature regime in which the fermions behave as a Fermi liquid. We introduce
an energy-based formalism to describe the temperature dynamics with which we
study a specific and promising mixture composed of 6Li and 87Rb. Analyzing the
harmonically trapped mixture, we find that the favourable features of this
mixture are further enhanced by using different trapping frequencies for the

From Irrational to Non-Unitary: on the Haffnian and Haldane-Rezayi wave functions
We study the Haffnian and Haldane-Rezayi quantum Hall wave functions and
their quasihole excitations by means of their `root configurations', and point
out a close connection between these seemingly different states. For both
states, we formulate a `generalized Pauli-principle', which allows to count the
degeneracies of these states. The connection between these states might
elucidate the underlying theory describing the `irrational' Haffnian state.Comment: 4+ pages, published versio
Spin Fluctuations and the Pseudogap in Organic Superconductors
We show that there are strong similarities in the spin lattice relaxation of
non-magnetic organic charge transfer salts, and that these similarities can be
understood in terms of spin fluctuations. Further, we show that, in all of the
kappa-phase organic superconductors for which there is nuclear magnetic
resonance data, the energy scale for the spin fluctuations coincides with the
energy scale for the pseudogap. This suggests that the pseudogap is caused by
short-range spin correlations. In the weakly frustrated metals
k-(BEDT-TTF)_2Cu[N(CN)_2]Br, k-(BEDT-TTF)_2Cu(NCS)_2, and
k-(BEDT-TTF)_2Cu[N(CN)_2]Cl (under pressure) the pseudogap opens at the same
temperature as coherence emerges in the (intralayer) transport. We argue that
this is because the spin correlations are cut off by the loss of intralayer
coherence at high temperatures. We discuss what might happen to these two
energy scales at high pressures, where the electronic correlations are weaker.
In these weakly frustrated materials the data is well described by the chemical
pressure hypothesis (that anion substitution is equivalent to hydrostatic
pressure). However, we find important differences in the metallic state of
k-(BEDT-TTF)_2Cu_2(CN)_3, which is highly frustrated and displays a spin liquid
insulating phase. We also show that the characteristic temperature scale of the
spin fluctuations in (TMTSF)_2ClO_4 is the same as superconducting critical
temperature, which may be evidence that spin fluctuations mediate the

Pengaruh Motivasi Belajar terhadap Prestasi Belajar Matematika Menggunakan E-learning Pendekatan Bimbingan Belajar Berbasis Multimedia
Proses pendekatan dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar merupakan suatu hal yang sangat perlu untuk menarik siswa agarmotivasi belajar meningkat. Hal ini perlu diupayakan peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa karena akan berpengaruh terhadapprestasi belajar matematika di sekolah. Dengan demikian tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui apakah denganpendekatan bimbingan belajar berbasis multimedia, motivasi belajar siswa berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar matematikasiswa. Penelitian eksperimen ini mengambil populasi sekolah SMA di Kabupaten Bandung yang dalam pembelajarannyabelum pernah menggunakan multimedia dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar matematika. Sampel dari penelitian ini adalahkelas XII SMA 1 Banjaran. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah instrumen angket motivasi dan instrumen tes prestasi belajarmatematika serta angket respon siswa terhadap pendekatan belajar yang digunakan. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan datamenggunakan program SPSS 20.0, data menunjukan bahwa hasil korelasinya signignifikan dengan pengaruh penggunaanpendekatan bimbingan belajar berbasis multimedia menyebabkan motivasi belajar siswa meningkat dan berpengaruhterhadap peningkatan prestasi belajar matematika siswa sebesar 55,4%
Perangkat Konversi Data Dari Statistical Process Control Ke Usb Untuk Alat Ukur Digital
Alat ukur digital digunakan di Balai Besar Keramik untuk keperluan sertifikasi produk-produk keramik Indonesia. Saatini proses pencatatan dilakukan dua kali yaitu ditulis tangan berdasarkan data yang tertera di layar display lalu kemudiandipindahkan ke komputer untuk analisa selanjutnya. Padahal satu jenis produk setidaknya memiliki 10 sampel yang masingmasingharus diuji sebanyak 4 kali. Proses pencatatan ini memerlukan waktu yang lama. Karena itu Balai Besar Keramikbekerja sama dengan Politeknik Negeri Bandung untuk mengembangkan suatu sistem yang dapat membantu sistempencatatan ini. Sistem terdiri atas perangkat keras dan perangkat lunak. Perangkat keras berbasis Arduino digunakan untukmengubah level tegangan dari indikator digital ke level tegangan yang sesuai dengan komputer. Selain itu digunakan jugauntuk mengubah format data Statistical Process Control 52 reversed bit ke format data USB. Perangkat lunak digunakanuntuk mencatat hasil pengukuran dalam berkas komputer yang kompatibel dengan program spreadsheet. Hasil implementasidi lapangan menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini mampu bekerja dengan baik sesuai dengan standard yang ditetapkan oleh BalaiBesar Keramik
Kinerja Karyawan Dalam USAha Sapi Potong CV. Indonesia Multi Indah Kecamatan Margorejo Kabupaten Pati (Performance of Employees in Cattlebusiness CV . Indonesia Multi Indah District Margorejo Pati)
This study aims to determine the performance of employees and determine socioeconomic factors that drive employees discipline and motivation to work in CV. Indonesia MultiIndah Langse Village District of Margorejo Pati. This study was conducted in February 2014. The method used in the study was a case study, by questionnaire to the respondent that contains four elements of employee performance. Research usedall of 60 employees as respondents. The analytical method used was descriptive analysis used to determine the state of the CV. Indonesia Multi Indah by describing the companies condition. The results showed thatemployee assessment based on responsibility, including good and sufficient enough respectively 50%, the commitment includes enough (56.7%)and less (40.0%), including good discipline (45.0%) and sufficient (55.0%), and honesty includes both (51.7%) and sufficient (48.3%). Based on this assessment, the average score employee performance CV IMI at 60.08. Conclusions This study is the performance of employees in the beef cattle business in CV IMI included in the medium category
