Performance Analysis of CSRZ, MDRZ, NRZ and DPSK Modulation Formats for Two Channel WDM Passive Optical Network

In this paper, we have simulated 2 channel bi directional WDM PON system using CSRZ, NRZ, DPSK and MDRZ modulation formats. System has been analyzed by changing the input power values from -20 to 10dBm. The system is evaluated for 20Gbps bit rate upto 50km in terms of Q factor and eye opening factor. It is found that DPSK is best technique as compared to other modulation formats

A participatory methodology for large scale field trials in the UK

Farmer participation was essential in developing a uniquely useful set of wheat variety trials data on a wide range of organic farms over two years. Although the trials were successful, it became clear that some of the participating farmers felt there were some limitations in the process. These included a lack of ownership in the project and a concern for more researcher help. It was clear that a greater time in-vestment was needed at the start of the project to help with farmer understanding and ownership. De-spite the negative comments, farmers appreciated their involvement, particularly in contrasting their own views and information with that from the wider scene. Farmer participation is essential for systems-level research and this project helped to develop a small core of trained farmers and researchers

The purpose of this paper is to focus on the drawbacks of typical decision matrix construction, as well as the limitation of possible alternatives. In this paper, linear physical programming (LPP) is purposed as an alternative to typical construction of decision matrix. The use of LPP overcomes the main drawback of this typical construction. LPP method is used for concept selection as well as parameter selection.  In this paper LPP based approach for concept selection is purposed. An example is provided to explain how the method works

Comparative Analysis of Relational Keyword search Systems

Today with the growth of the Internet, there has been a big growth in the number of users who want to access information without having a detailed knowledge of the query languages; even simple query languages are designed for them that are too complicated for people who dont have sufficient knowledge of language. A large number of methods and prototypes also proposed and implemented, but, there remains a several limitations. So that in this paper, we are overcoming the limitations of previous methods. In literature review indicating that existing systems are using document order so that they are not providing better ranking of keywords. In this paper we are using Top-K based algorithm, ranking function and presenting evaluation of performance of relational keyword search systems. top-k query processing provides highest ranked search results
