Promoting Handwashing and Sanitation: Evidence From a Large-Scale Randomized Trial in Rural Tanzania

This paper presents the results of two large-scale, government-led handwashing and sanitation promotion campaigns in rural Tanzania. Their results highlight the importance of focusing on intermediate outcomes of take-up and behavior change as a critical first step in large-scale programs before realizing the changes in health that sanitation and hygiene interventions aim to deliver

Kerr-Schild Method and Geodesic Structure in Codimension-2 Brane Black Holes

We consider the black hole solutions of five-dimensional gravity with a Gauss-Bonnet term in the bulk and an induced gravity term on a 2-brane of codimension-2. Applying the Kerr-Schild method we derive additional solutions which include charge and angular momentum. To improve our understanding of this geometry we study the geodesic structure of such spacetimes.Comment: 30 pages, 9 figures. One new reference added. Published version in Phys. Rev.

String-Like BTZ on Codimension-2 Braneworlds in the Thin Brane Limit

We consider five-dimensional gravity with a Gauss-Bonnet term in the bulk and an induced gravity term on a 2-brane of codimension-2. PENEMUAN POSTULAT PERUBAHAN NOL DAN DAMPAKNYA TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN ENERGI DALAM ILMU FISIKA

Energi merupakan pokok bahasan yang bersifat dasar dalam ilmu fisika. Selama ini diyakini bahwa energi dapat berubah menjadi massa, atau sebaliknya. Energi juga dianggap merupakan hal yang berbeda dengan momentum. Namun kedua keyakinan ini terbukti salah saat ditinjau menggunakan postulat perubahan nol. Berdasarkan postulat perubahan nol, dibuktikan bahwa energi tidak dapat berubah menjadi massa, atau sebaliknya. Selain itu ditemukan juga bahwa energi dan momentum adalah hal yang sama.
