On the Deformation Quantization Description of Matrix Compactifications

    Get PDF
Matrix theory compactifications on tori have associated Yang-Mills theories on the dual tori with sixteen supercharges. A noncommutative description of these Yang-Mills theories based in deformation quantization theory is provided. We show that this framework allows a natural generalization of the `Moyal B-deformation' of the Yang-Mills theories to non-constant background B-fields on curved spaces. This generalization is described through Fedosov's geometry of deformation quantization.Comment: 25 pages, harvmac file, no figures, corrected typos, added references, one comment added in sec.

The Middle town has a socials and economics specificity that gives it a clear distinction when it compare with big urban area. In these conditions, supply of public transportation’s problematic can’t be resolve by the way of traditional respond, and especially in a case of services improvement. From then on, the traditional tools of analysis become sometime irrelevant. The choice of tools that gone to be used is highly important when it looking for a supply network’s improvement.

    Quantum topology and global anomalies

Anomalies are ubiquitous features in quantum field theories. They can ruin the consistency of such theories and put significant restrictions on their viability, especially in dimensions higher than four. Global gauge and gravitational anomalies are to date, one of the scant powerful and probing tools available to physicists in the pursuit of uniqueness. This monograph is one of the very few that specializes in the study of global anomalies in quantum field theories. A discussion of various issues associated to three dimensional physics - the Chern-Simons-Witten theories - widen the scope of th

LINK MANIFOLDS AND GLOBAL GRAVITATIONAL ANOMALIES

A new method of constructing exotic 11-dimensional structures, as solutions for the cancellation of global gravitational anomalies, is revealed. The construction makes use of link manifolds. Of relevant interest is the fact that the geometry and topology of the exotic 11-dimensional manifolds are encoded in the classical invariants of knots and links in dimension three. </jats:p
