Olivine-lamproite from Ybytyruzú Lamproite Field, Eastern Paraguay
In the present work is carried out the description of geology, mineral chemistry, geochemistry, and characterization of the Yzu-4 intrusion that occurs in the Ybytyruzú lamproites field,Eastern Paraguay. According to the petrography and mineral chemistry, with reinforcements of rockchemistry (major, minor and traces elements and isotopes of Sr and Nd), Yzu-4 belongs to sanidinediopside analcime, olivine lamproite exposed next to a inferred (from Landsat 4-5 and 7 satellite imagery)pipe-shaped intrusion of 900x900 meters in diameter and located less than 1500 meters from anotherintrusion of diamond- bearing olivine lamproite rich in micas (also inferred as pipe). The Ybytyruzúlamproites field lies on the deep Archon heart of Rio de la Plata craton.Fil: Baez Presser, Jaime Leonardo. Jaime Presser Exploraciones; ParaguayFil: Vladykin, Nikolay V.. Increased nutritional value in food crops
Modern agriculture and horticulture must combine two objectives that seem to be almost mutually exclusive: to satisfy the nutritional needs of an increasing human population and to minimize the negative impact on the environment. These two objectives are included in the Goal 2 of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development of the United Nations: End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture'. Enhancing the nutritional levels of vegetables would improve nutrient intake without requiring an increase in consumption. In this context, the use of beneficial rhizospheric microorganisms for improving, not only growth and yield, but also the nutrient quality of crops represents a promising tool that may respond to the challenges for modern agriculture and horticulture and represents an alternative to the genetic engineering of crops. This paper summarizes the state of the art, the current difficulties associated to the use of rhizospheric microorganisms as enhancers of the nutritional quality of food crops as well as the future prospects
Endoscopic Approach to Ectopic Pregnancy
Minimally invasive surgery is an option in the management of ectopic pregnancy, it may be rupture, not rupture, or complement of medical treatment. In addition to the known advantages of endoscopic surgery in the field of obstetrics, it allows better conservative management of the fallopian tube and ovaries, allowing a better reproductive prognosis. The surgical technique to be performed of the clinical findings, the hemodynamic status, and the anatomical location of the ectopic pregnancy. Salpingectomy is performed in the ruptured ectopic pregnancy, assessing the integrity of the contralateral salpinge. Linear salpingostomy is performed on unbroken ectopic pregnancy preserving the fallopian tube, in the literature, this technique has reported maintenance of the fertility rate. In case of a cervical or niche ectopic pregnancy, resectoscopy is recommended

Cigarette Smoking Alters the Expression of Circulating microRNAs and Its Potential Diagnostic Value in Female Lung Cancer Patients
Cigarette smoking is a known risk factor for the development of lung cancer. We investigated whether circulating microRNA expression levels and their potential diagnostic value are affected by cigarette smoking in adenocarcinoma (AD) patients and healthy (H) participants. In total, 71 female AD patients and 91 H individuals were recruited, including 42 AD never-smokers (AD/CS−), 29 AD smokers (AD/CS+), 54 H never-smokers (H/CS−), and 37 H smokers (H/CS+). PCR array (754 microRNAs) and qPCR were performed on sera from the discovery and validation cohorts, respectively. The expression levels of miR-532-5p, miR-25-3p, and miR-133a-3p were significantly higher in adenocarcinoma patients than in healthy participants, independent of their smoking status. Multivariate analysis showed that levels of miR-133a-3p were independently associated with smoking. ROC analysis showed that only miR-532-5p discriminated AD patients from H controls (AUC: 0.745). However, when making comparisons according to cigarette smoking status, miR-532-5p discriminated AD/CS− patients from H/CS− controls with a higher AUC (AUC:0.762); miR-25-3p discriminated AD/CS+ patients from H/CS+ controls (AUC: 0.779), and miR-133a discriminated AD/CS+ patients from H/CS+ controls with the highest AUC of 0.935. Cancer and lung-cancer-enriched pathways were significantly associated with the three miRNAs; in addition, nicotinate/nicotinamide metabolism, inflammation, and pulmonary hypertension were associated with miR-133a-3p. Our findings highlight how cigarette smoking affects the reliable identification of circulating miRNAs as diagnostic biomarkers in lung cancer and suggest a smoking-dependent pathogenic role of miR-133a-3p in smokers.</jats:p
