    دراسة تاريخية عن أثر القرآن الكريم في اللغة العربية

    Bagi seorang muslim, kajian tentang Al Quran dan pengaruhnya terhadap perkembangan bahasa Arab sangat penting untuk dilakukan karena bahasa Arab telah dipilih oleh Allah sebagai bahasa kitab suci umat Islam yaitu al Quran, hal ini dapat meningkatkan kecintaan seorang muslim untuk mempelajari bahasa Arab dan pada saat yang sama untuk memahami al Quran. Dalam makalah ini penulis akan membahas kajian sejarah terntang pengaruh al Quran terhadap perkembangan bahasa Arab, dengan fokus kajian ; hakekat bahasa dan fungsinya, keistimewaan bahasa Arab disbanding dengan bahasa lainnya, dan pengaruh al Quran terhadap perkembangan al Quran. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kepustakaan, penulis menghasilkan temuan sebagai berikut : (1) hakekat bahasa adalah berbicara dan fungsi utamanya adalah sebagai alat komunikasi dalam masalah sosial, budaya, pribadi dan intelektual, (2) diantara keistimewaan bahasa Arab terdapat pada bidang fonetik, derivasi, i’rab, taraduf, dan kemudahannya, (3) al Quran berperan dalam menjaga keagungan bahasa Arab, menguatkannya, menyatukan dialeknya, menjadikannya sebagai bahasa internasional dan pendidikan, menghaluskan kosa kata dan ungkapannya, memperkaya kosa katanya, dan al Quran sebagai pemicu munculnya berbagai jenis ilmu pengetahuan. Dari temuan tersebut, penulis menyarankan untuk : (1) lebih perhatian terhadap pembelajaran ketrampilan berbicara, (2) menjelaskan keistimewaan bahasa Arab kepada para pembelajar, dan (3) menjelaskan dan mengenalkan pengaruh al Quran terhadap perkembangan bahasa Arab

    Enhancing Students' Motivation in Learning English Grammar Through a Computer-supported Learning Classroom Management

    This research is to examine the students‘motivational factors and attitude towards the learning ofEnglish grammar in a Computer-supported LearningSystem. Twenty-nine students were taught with astudent-centered approach and three grammar learningweb sites were used frequently for classroom andindividual English grammar practice, whereas anothertwenty-nine were taught with the traditional teachercenteredapproach. Both groups were given grammarcorrection and explanation tests before and after thestudy. After comparing the results of the pre-test andpost-test with those of the control group, it was foundthat the experimental group excelled over the controlgroup in both grammar correction and grammarexplanation. It proved that students‘ implicit andexplicit knowledge on English grammar was greatlyimproved by the computer-supported teaching methodsand environment. Further interviews with the studentsalso revealed that the new pedagogical practice hadprovided many positive motivational factors insupporting students‘ learning process

    Pengaruh Kadar Sulfur dan Plastisizer Paraffin terhadap Morfologi dan Sifat Karet Alam Thermoset dengan Filler Abu Sawit/Carbon Black

    Sulfur and plasticizer has an important role in the manufacture of thermoset rubber. Plasticizer serves to increase the spread of filler in the elastic properties of rubber. While the function of sulfur during the vulcanization process. This research aims to study the effect of sulfur and paraffin plasticizers on the morphology and properties of thermoset rubber with palm ash /carbon black as filler. sufur content used were 1,5 phr 2,5 phr and 3 phr (per hundred rubber ). Plastisizer content used were 2,5 phr and 5 phr. Mastication process is carried out using a roll mill at room temperature, roll rotational speed of 20 rpm, and the overall time of the manufacture of compound ± 50 minutes. Activator used was ZnO, a co–activator used was stearic acid, an accelerator used was MBTS, antidegradant used was TMQ. Vulcanization process was carried out at a temperature of 150 °C and pressure of 50 kgf/cm2. Testing of mechanical properties includes tensile strength, elongation at break and elastic modulus using standard ISO 527-2 type 5A with a universal testing machine. Testing morphology was carried out using a scanning electron microscope (SEM). Other parameter tested is water absorption resistance. The results showed that the rate of sulfur and plasticizer influence the properties of vulcanized rubber. The best mechanical properties obtained at 2.5 phr sulfur and 2.5 phr plasticizer with filler ratio of palm ash /carbon black 30/70 with a tensile strength of 18.41 MPa, elongation at break 1155.9 % and elastic modulus of 0.9 MPa

    Porous tri calcium phospate (TCP) has been prepared by starch-consolidation method using wheat as the pore formed agent. The purpose of this research is to investigate the influence of agitation rate and sintering temperature rate on physical, chemical, and mechanical properties of porous TCP. Wheat particles were mixed with TCP suspension then stirred for 1 hour. The slurry was dried in oven at 80˚C for 24 hours and at 120˚C for 8 hours. The green bodies were sintered at 2, 5, and 8˚C/minutes. The obtained green bodies shown shrinkage in the range 55.29-58.97%. The compressive strength of sintered bodies resulted was 0.73 MPa at 81.93% porosity and 2.89 MPa at 60.99% porosity

    Crude palm oil wastes in the form of fly ash is potentially use as filler for thermoset rubber because it contains silica. This study aims to increase the mechanical and morphological properties of thermoset rubber which filled with mixture of carbon black and fly ash with particles size screened to 700-800nm. Stearic Acid, MBTS and sulfur contents were used 1; 2; 3 phr (per hundred rubber), 0.5; 1; 1.5 phr and 0.5; 1.5; 3 phr respectively. Rubber mastication process performed by a roll mill at room temperature and roll speed of 20 rpm until the texture is smooth and soft, then added minarex as a plasticizer, nanofiller, and other additives, such as ZnO as an activator, stearic acid as a co-activator, as antidegradant TMQ, MBTS as an accelerator and sulfur as a curative agent. Rubber mastication performed by a roll mill at room temperature and roll speed of 20 rpm. The overall duration of the manufacture of compound ±45 minutes. Vulcanization process using a hot press at a pressure of 200 kgf/cm2 and a temperature of 150 oC. Results showed that increased levels of stearic acid, MBTS and sulfur is directly proportional to the tensile strength, but yield elongation at break are varied. The best thermoset rubber in this study were obtained on samples having content of stearic acid 3 phr, MBTS 1.5 phr and sulfur 3 phr with tensile strength values 19,05 MPa, 774.394 % elongation at break, hardness 52±5 shore A, abration 0,074 mm3/kg and 1,28% water absorption percentage

    Sifat dan Morfologi Bioplastik Berbasis Pati Sagu dengan Penambahan Filler Clay dan Plasticizer Gliserol

    Bioplastic is one of alternative to relpace comercial plastic that can be harmful to environment. Bioplastic is made to make degradation become easier. One of potential raw material is sago because it has a highest starch component. The aims of this research are the study of impact clay as filler and glycerol as plasticizer to mechanical properties (tensile strenght, elongation, modulus young), hidrophobicity (water uptake), biodegradation and morphology. The synthesis method is solution intercalation of starch, water, filler and plasticizer with variation of filler are 3 (%w/w), 6 (%w/w), 9 (%w/w), 12 (%w/w) and glycerol are 10 (%w/w), 14 (%w/w), 18 (%w/w), 22 (%w/w). The analysis show that filler clay and glycerol give an impact to mechanical properties of bioplastic. the best mechanical properties is on bioplastic with composition 3 % filler and 14 % glycerol with tensile strenght 2.891 Mpa, % elongation 30.99 %, modulus young 9.39 Mpa. The highest hidrophobicity of bioplastic is 85.71% and residual persentation is between 67.39 % to 81.25 % in 8 day. Micrograf analysis shows that filler distribution is not be spread evenly on sago starch matrices

    Optimasi Kadar Maleat Anhidrat dan Suhu pada Pembuatan Maleated Natural Rubber melalui Proses Grafting

    Natural rubber can be developed through a process called Maleated Natural Rubber grafting. A study about the influence of the composition of maleic anhydric (MAH) and temperature on the degree of grafting has been done before. The purpose of this research is to determine the optimum composition and temperature in the process of MAH grafted natural rubber. The composition of MAH is 7, 8, 9, and 10 phr with temperature conditions is 150, 155, 160 and 165oC. The grafting process use internal mixer operated at 60 rpm for 10 minutes. Grafting degree determined by titrimetric method where MNR in xylene solution titrated using MeOH solution. The results showed that the optimum composition and the temperature are 8.36 phr and 160oC with 3.62% grafitng degree
