Is emergent scenario in the early Universe a consequence of the dynamics of real scalar field particle ?

Emergent scenario of cosmic evolution is a topic of great interest in recent cosmology, especially because it describes a non-singular origin of the Universe unlike the Big-Bang models. This types of cosmic evolution pattern have already been established through the non-equilibrium thermodynamic prescription. But those models are phenomenological and requires physical interpretation from the perspective of quantum field theory. This work is an effort to search a quantum field theoretical reason to justify the emergent nature of the Universe and the nature of cosmic evolution at the early phase of the cosmic expansion. The canonical quantization of the cosmic fluid in the pre-inflationary era: a new kind of Emergent Universe

The early phase of cosmic evolution is still a great topic of interest to the cosmologist community. Especially the mechanism behind the origin of the Universe is yet to be resolved. Most people believe in the Big Bang models (singular origin of the Universe), but fewer of the cosmologists support in favor of the non-singular origin of the Universe in their works. These models are based on the standard general theory of relativity. In this work, we have aimed to investigate the nature of the early cosmic evolution from the canonical quantization of the cosmic fluid and importantly to find a probable answer of what the true origin of the Universe is.Comment: arXiv admin note: substantial text overlap with arXiv:2304.0391

Modelling life course blood pressure trajectories using Bayesian adaptive splines

    Get PDF
No single study has collected data over individuals' entire lifespans. To understand changes over the entire life course, it is necessary to combine data from various studies that cover the whole life course. Such combination may be methodologically challenging due to potential differences in study protocols, information available and instruments used to measure the outcome of interest. Motivated by our interest in modelling blood pressure changes over the life course, we propose the use of Bayesian adaptive splines within a hierarchical setting to combine data from several UK-based longitudinal studies where blood pressure measures were taken in different stages of life. Our method allowed us to obtain a realistic estimate of the mean life course trajectory, quantify the variability both within and between studies, and examine overall and study specific effects of relevant risk factors on life course blood pressure changes

Choice and familiarity of using corridor and spill over space in urban centre

The Street corridors are nowadays one of the most important components of urban space. As one element of the street, pedestrian plays significant role of enhancing and sustaining the quality of an urban space. As an important element of urban form, street function serves as social space, commercial space, cultural space, as well as channels of movements. It is therefore very important to study and propose that how these corridors could be maintained or adapted for future reference and uses. It is also important to understand the underlying principles and design in order to be modified and adapted to new and future settlements. In the process of change, existing situation will be modified to meet new uses of these corridors. It was frequently found that many traces of the existing characteristics are erased. This situation is of loss to the place where traditional built environment is replaced by new with very little sense of continuity from their past situation, depriving the place of its roots and hence their sense of place. The corridors are directly related to the history and culture of the people living in the town. The study established on the significant role of public active street corridors as prerequisite for creating urban livable environments. Therefore it is important to record and determine the urban pattern as well as the character of the urban space of the street corridor for future references
