Policymakers in modern and open economies face a macroeconomic trilemma (Obstfeld, Shambaugh, and Taylor 2005). There are three main sought-after objectives: 1. to stabilize the exchange rate; 2. to enjoy free international capital mobility 3. to engage in a monetary policy oriented toward domestic goals. Three main questions that we try to answer are : How the crisis exacerbated by international investor racing to pull out their capital from affected coutnries? Can capital control reduce it? Can capital control reduce contagion effect and regional financial instability? Using game theoritical framework and insight from behavioral economics, we analyzed herd behaviour of international investors in the time of financial crisis. Under free international capital mobility, uncertainty and lack of coordination among investors with short-horizon, we found prisoner dilemma type of arrangement that exacerbated financial crisis. Applying the anylisis to multi-stage game with government, we found that a credible threat of capital control could reduce herd behaviour and escape the worst of financial crisis. Therefore, fredom to employ capital control is a policy tool that enable escape from the trilemma and pursue all three goals at the same time. We modify the framework to include multiple countries under financial crisis and fear of contagion. We found the ability to impose capital control, under certain conditions, will isolate the crisis and reduce contagion effect. We also explore the critical value when capital control should be enacted with regard to domestic economic condition, on which government political mandate base upon, and differences of reactions in relation to political regime. We conclude by citing incidences of insistance toward comitment against capital control by IMF in loans approcal and US in free trade agreement as misdirected, unncessesary and even harmful in some cases.Asiena crisis; game theory; capital control

The objective of this research was to establish the characteristics of the constructivist social model that is evident in the pedagogical practices of the teachers of the educational institution I NEM Manuel Murillo Toro of the city of Ibagu?; To this end, a mixed-type methodology (qualitative and quantitative) was used, by means of the application of different instruments that included, surveys to teachers and managers of the institution, the documentary analysis, as well as the direct observation to the classes of some teachers. Among the results obtained, it can be seen that there is a level of incoherence between the institutional approaches and the teaching and learning practices carried out by the teachers. The institution is also encouraged to design strategies to achieve a greater appropriation of the pedagogical model; This, through constant and pertinent monitoring of the processes that allow the materialization of its components. Industrial activity is known as one of the major contributors of greenhouse gas emissions (GHG). Sources of GHG emissions from the industrial sector include energy inputinput, the inputinput of non-energy, industrial processes and industrial waste. Thus, the industrial sector, listed as one of the important sectors in the National Action Plan (NAP) Reduction of GHG emissions. Implementation of mitigation actions in the industrial sector clearly requires appropriate regulatory framework. The right combination of policy and fiscal instruments needed to encourage industry players become actively involved in the national effort to reduce GHG emissions in Indonesia. The problem, the need for coordination regulations related efforts to reduce GHG emissions in the industrial sector of each Ministry / Institutions (K / L) are associated in particular Ministry of Finance Regulation (PMK and the Regulation of the Minister of Industry (Permenindustri). For that study was conducted using the framework regulatory analysis for the creation of regulatory coordination between the PMK and Permenindustri. Through the codification mechanism, expectedd to increase the effectiveness of fiscal policy to reduce GHG emissions in the industrial sector

Potassic late orogenic Stephanian volcanism in the South West french Massif Central (Decazeville, Figeac, Lacapelle-Marival basins): an example for mantle metasomatism along strike-slip faults?

International audienceIn the Southwestern part of the French Massif central (Decazeville basin, at the Sillon Houiller fault termination; Figeac and Lacapelle-Marival basins along the Argentat fault), Stephanian volcanism exhibits shoshonitic affinities. Their chondrite-normalized Rare Earth Element (REE) patterns are enriched in light REE, but almost flat for heavy REE, with marked negative Eu anomalies. Primitive mantle-normalized element spectra show negative Nb, Ta, P, Sm, Ti, and positive Th, U, Pb anomalies, respectively. εNd values are negative and homogeneous (-6 to -4). This volcanism shares the same geochemical patterns as the late-orogenic Stephanian-Permian magmatism from the southern part of the Variscan belt (Pyrénées, Alps, Sardinia). We explain these geochemical characteristics as resulting from the partial melting of a metasomatised mantle. We propose a new mechanism to explain this melting process: horizontal displacement along the main late-orogenic strike-slip faults might bring into contact a hydrated lower crust with the lithospheric mantle. Mantle metasomatism within the strike-slip fault zone may then induce partial meltin

Piperonal as a precursor of cancer drug (Curcumin analogues) can be synthesized from extract of lawang\u27s bark (Cinnamomum culilawan Blume) with multiple stages, among others: isolation of essential oils, isolation safrole, safrole isomerization, and synthesis of piperonal. Essential oils were isolated from the bark of lawang (the water content of 46.2%) using a water distillation system with 1/3 volume of high boiler for five hours. Isolation of safrole from lawang bark oils was performed using NaOH solution and purified using reduced pressure distillation system at a temperature of 90-123°C / 1 mmHg. The safrole isomerization was undergone using alkali catalyst (KOH) without solvent at a temperature of 120°C for 8 hours. Oxidation of isosafrol was performed using KMnO4 in acidic conditions using a KTF tween 80 at a temperature below 30°C, and purified using silica gel. Results of isolation yield 0.94% with 14 components were determined through GC-MS, including 67.35% eugenol, safrole 13.96%, 12.61% methyl eugenol, 4-terpineol sineol 1.79% and 1.55%. The isolated safrole yield of 17.21% with purity testing and identification using FTIR, 1H- NMR and GCMS confirmed the product was safrole. The isomerization obtained yield of 77.56% with GC analysis indicated compounds of cis-isosafrole and trans-isosafrole. The results of oxidation obtained yield of 65.63% with a purity of 100% by GCMS and the 1H-NMR indicated the product is piperonal
