BLADE VIBRATION MEASUREMENTS AND EXCITATION FORCE EVALUATION
LectureTip timing blade vibration measuring systems have
become nowadays common for monitoring blade vibrations,
due to rather easy and non-intrusive installation of sensors. The
data collected by the sensors must be heavily processed in order
to get the vibration time histories of all blades at rated speed or
during a run up or run down transient. In the paper a real case
of tip timing measurement for a steam turbine is shown.
Resonant/natural frequencies, amplitude and phase of each
blade vibration with respect to the synchronous reference, are
identified. The first measurement results shown are related to
asynchronous vibrations of a steam turbine last stage blade row
due to an instability. The second results are instead transient
synchronous vibrations when passing a blade row resonance
during a run up of the steam turbine. It is further shown how
synchronous vibrations, although non stationary, allowed to
identify damping and excitation amplitudes by means of an
original approach based on modal analysis
Social networks have gained prominence in today's society as one of the mainstream media, transforming the subject and the way it has to relate to others.
Constantly increase the cases related to problems that unrestricted use of social networks generates in the society. That is why it is a valid and current problem that many subjects come to them to support social bond without being aware of the risks that may be at the expense of their health.
Because of this, the aim of this study is to investigate and describe how it affects the unlimited use of social networks in subjectivity.
These are taken from psychoanalysis as a new stage where supports and displays subjectivity, therefore we ask: How does unrestricted use of social networks affects subjectivity? How does circulate desire and drive on unrestricted use of social networks? How is the subject positioned with respect to the desire of the Other in social networks?
Therefore, it is made a theoretical journey that seeks to articulate the concepts of Internet, Social Networks, and Facebook, with psychoanalytic concepts contributed by S. Freud and J. Lacan in relation to the structuring of the psyche.
In addition, it is made an approach from a theoretical and clinical methodology in which there are analysed three cases taken from the film "Disconnect" (2012) that account for different subjective positions regarding the use of social networks.
Finally, in the conclusions is found that the unrestricted use of social networks can generate effects of desubjectivation.Fil: Bistolfi, Valentin

Dendrogeomorphology of the avulsion event on the Pedregoso Creek alluvial fan (Argentina, Puelo Lake) triggered by the historic 1960 earthquake
The most intense earthquake worldwide ever measured occurred in Valdivia, Chile, in May 1960. Its ocurrence resulted in ecosystem´s impacts on the Argentine Andean region in northwest Patagonia during and after the event. A known case is the Tsunami in Lake Nahuel Huapi that destroyed the Bariloche port. On the other hand, less is known about the Pedregoso Creek (PC) flood in the north bayhead of the Puelo Lake. Historical local farmers who used to cross the PC recall that after the quake, small natural water bodies placed in the middle basin got undammed leading to a big flood in the lower basin. As a result, a channel avulsión took place in the PC alluvial fan and the location of its rivermouth changed drastically. Nowadays, the flood and the avulsion event is still recognizable in the alluvial fan due to a lower forest density that had slowly reestablished on the paleochannel sector. With this framework, we are conducting dendrogeomorphological studies in the alluvial fan in order to characterize the event, explore other conditions present during 1960th (e.g. above average subsequent migration dynamics. For this purpose, we estimated forest density (tree/ha) and took increment core samples at multiple sampling points (distanciated 50 m) along three arcuate transects that radially dissect all the Predregoso alluvial fan. After the land survey,we zonificated the alluvial fan in six different sectors. The sectors were characterized by theforest maximum density value and the minimum potential tree establishment date ofthe last fluvial activity (oldest dated tree established), as follow: 1) the active PC channelwith no trees; 2) a fluvial semi-active sector with 152 trees per ha and a minimal establishment date of 1987; 3) a fluvial inactive zone with 962 trees per ha and an establishment date of 1967; 4) the paleochannel sector, active before the earthquake and the flood events, with 337 trees per ha and an establishment date of 1973; 5) a paleochannel middle fluvial bar sector, with 429 trees per haand an establishment date of 1963, and finally; 6) an undisturbed forest sector with 1975 treesper ha and an establishment date of 1832. These results, with no intermediate dated sectorbetween the undisturbed (1832) and the paleochannel (1963) sectors, may preliminary suggest that the avulsión event was unique over the last two centuries. The younger sectors (2 and 3) are eflecting a gradual channel migration to the north side of the alluvial fan after the avulsion. Future work will continue surveying higher areas of the basin looking for lost small water bodies (damms), directed dendrogeomophological sampling to reinforce the dating of the avulsion event and, lastly, analyzing instrumental climatic data to establish whether the earthquake took place on a wet year resulting in an increased level of the Puelo Lake.
The objective of this research was to demonstrate the presence of total mercury (Hg) in the fillet of the Peruvian silverside fish (Odontesthes regia regia) obtained from artisanal fishing from the sea adjacent to the fishermen's cove of the districts of Chorrillos and Pucusana in the Lima region, and Paracas in the Ica region. In each district, a sample of 10 fish was taken and a portion of the fillet was obtained from each one to quantify the total Hg using the technique of atomic absorption spectrophotometry. Total Hg levels were found between 0.001 - 0.008 mg/kg. Statistically, there was no significant linear correlation between the levels of total Hg and the length of the Peruvian silversides fish (p=0.3318), as well as the levels of total Hg and the weight of the Peruvian silversides fish (p=0.3789). In conclusion, the total Hg concentrations found in the sampled Peruvian silversides fish were below the permissible maximum level for human consumption
