Double quantum dot coupled to a quantum point contact: A stochastic thermodynamics approach

We study the nonequilibrium properties of an electronic circuit composed of a double quantum dot (DQD) channel coupled to a quantum point contact (QPC) within the framework of stochastic thermodynamics. We show that the transition rates describing the dynamics satisfy a nontrivial local detailed balance (LDB) and that the statistics of energy and particle currents across both channels obeys a fluctuation theorem (FT). We analyze two regimes where the device operates as a thermodynamic machine and study its output power and efficiency fluctuations. We show that the electrons tunneling through the QPC without interacting with the DQD have a strong effect on the device efficiency

Pedagogía de la muerte en Educación Infantil: formación y concepción de los docentes

Con esta investigación se pretende realizar un acercamiento a la actual formación y a las concepciones que los docentes de Educación Infantil tienen a cerca de la Pedagogía de la Muerte, así como su importancia en la educación. Para llevar a cabo esta investigación, en primer lugar, se ha realizado una búsqueda bibliográfica que nos permitiera elaborar un marco teórico fundamentado en la muerte y la Pedagogía de la muerte en la etapa de Educación Infantil. Posteriormente se ha diseñado un guion de entrevista como instrumento para recabar la información deseada en una muestra compuesta por 122 docentes de Educación Infantil procedentes de distintas regiones de España. Tras el análisis de los datos obtenidos, se concluye que el tema de la muerte sigue siendo un tema tabú, evitado e ignorado por los docentes que en ocasiones se sienten inseguros para abordarlo. El motivo se encuentra principalmente en la falta de formación. Así, aún habiendo vivido experiencias personales de pérdidas y considerar en diversas ocasiones que estas son suficientes para abordar el tema, carecen de la formación y de las herramientas suficientes para hacer frente al tema sin tabúes y con seguridadUniversidad de Sevilla. Un viaje en la baja Edad Media

Indexación: Revista UNABEste artículo es un comentario a una serranilla escrita por el marqués de Santillana en la primera mitad del siglo XV. La serranilla está vinculada a un viaje realizado por el futuro marqués a Liébana, una región montañosa en el norte de España. Su viaje estuvo marcado por un pleito entre él y su hermana por la herencia de su madre. A través de los nombres de lugar mencionados en el poema se construyen y coexisten diversos estratos de significado (mitológicos, políticos y paisajísticos). El paso por la Liébana se convierte en un viaje mental en el cual los mitos clásicos junto con los parámetros geográficos, dan a los viajes un inesperado alcance y significación del cual los nuestros carecen. Abstract: The article is a commentary on a poetical composition - "serranilla"-written by the Marqués de Santillana in the first half of the XVth century. This poem is actually linked to a journey by the future marquis to Liébana, a mountainous regio n in the north ofSpain. His travel there was marked by a feud between him and his sister over their mother's heritage. Through the names of place s quoted in the poem, diverse layers of meaning (mythological, political and also the one related with the scenery and landscape) are constructed and seen to co-exist. The actual passage through Liébana becomes a journey of the mind in which the classical myths together with the geographical parameters provide an unexpected significance and scope that our modern travels fail to have. Psychopathological verbal expression of self-perceived stress in three groups of psychotic patients

Producción CientíficaSelf-perceived stress in 293 psychotic patients (schizophrenic, toxic and brief reactive psychoses) and a control group of 40 sane individuáis was evaluated by means of the Frankfurt Complaint Questionnaire. For this purpose, scores obtained in 6 'complementary Ítems' of the third versión of this questionnaire were studied, both in global and in detailed form. These Ítems reflect coping mechanisms exerted towards situations perceived as stressful which can produce clinical manifestations similar to the wellknown 'negative symptoms' of schizophrenia. Results show that self-perceived stress in all groups of patients is significantly higher than in the control group. In contrast, no significant differences among the three groups of patients are obtained. In conclusión, we point out the relevance of studying the psychotic patient's self-perceived stress in order to detect and minimize or even avoid the patient's risk situations, independen! of his/her diagnosis. Legal Interpreter for the Jury: the role of the Clerk of the Court in Spain

The Clerk of the Court (secretario judicial) in Spanish provincial courts is an important legal actor in the proceedings of the modern Spanish jury, introduced in 1995. In contrast to the general verdicts of traditional common-law juries, Spanish juries must answer an often lengthy list of specific questions, and must provide the reasoning supporting these responses. Early on, many Spanish juries found the task of providing legally acceptable responses and reasons challenging. Because the law permits the clerk to enter the deliberation room to assist the jury in its writing of the verdict, the clerk has come to act as a principal intermediary between the formal demands of the law and lay citizens serving on the jury. The purpose of the present study is to analyze the role of the Clerk of the Court in Spanish jury proceedings, including the jury selection phase and the verdict writing process. La presente investigación consiste en la elaboración del diseño vial, presupuesto y cronograma de ejecución de la trocha carrozable del centro poblado Culebreros – Pueblo Nuevo de Maray, Distrito de Santa Catalina de Mossa, Provincia de Morropón, Departamento de Piura, 2016. La carretera en estudio constará de 17+059 km y un espesor de afirmado de 20 cm debidamente estabilizado con aditivo Terrazyme, la longitud de cunetas a realizar es de 17520.9 m, en cuanto al drenaje transversal es de 14 alcantarillas de pase y 36 de alivio. El costo total del proyecto es de S/. 10,984,339.62 (diez millones novecientos ochenta y cuatro mil trescientos treinta y nueve y 62/100 nuevos soles) a Julio 2018 y será ejecutado de acuerdo al cronograma en 334 días calendario
